omg I love that redraw of Pearl and Rose as Laffitte and Teach! I feel like Laffitte would be totally devoted to him similar to how Pearl was towards Rose. for a while now I've envisioned Laffitte dancing around and singing about Teach like how Pearl does in "it's over isn't it" because he totally seems like the type to just burst into random song and dance

I only did one doodle related to a line Pink diamond said a while back because it feels it fits so perf for them ahah ( I might have done more, my memory with my doodles lately has been poor, oops)

I adoreee the idea of him having rings in his eyes when hypnotizing if not just having a piercing stare. I can't imagine Jesus being a fan and Teach enjoying being swayed in anyway--not that Laffitte would use it that often..just when he wants a favor done maybe.

Every time you draw Laffitte, I love the big eyes and lashes you give him! Course, I can't help but think of a scenario where Shiryu is looking at Laffitte, who had been staring at him, and saying, "Stop staring at me with them big ole eyes." You know, like that one scene in Spongebob? Don't know if Laffitte could make his eyes shrink in response, though...It might freak out Shiryu a little if he did! XD

LMFAOOO YESS!! Laffitte has such sweet, menacing little eyes but the thought of them making a piercing stare or getting huge like an great horned howl is so funny to me. Admittedly Bens made a similiar joke to me which I responded with

But this ask inspired me to make a page full of the creepiest Laffys I can draw, I'd feel Jesus would find them more creepy and Shiryu just confused, but probably have his fight or flight kick in once in a while and get him uneasy too haha. Thank you so much Anon!!

I never really put much attention to them until a little recently while trying to explore and think up more lore with Shiryu , ahah.
