The Classic Carbon Knife with the characteristic barred-shapes red stained birch handle , was first introduced around one hundred years ago with the ambition to portray an exclusive mahogany knife. (Model : Morakniv Classic 1/0, 2 , 2F, and 3) . Let’s start with Classic 1/0 - Carbon Steel, Birchwood Handle,Polymer Shealth, 2.0mm, n length at 3inches, - i feel this is all-round knife and suitable for multiple purposes. Second is Classic 2, - Carbon Steel, Birchwood Handle, Polymer Shealth, 2.5mm thickness , and 4.2inches blade. I build fire using this knife , it’s splits small logs and makes really good feather sticks with ease and excels in many others areas beyond wood processing and fire making . Very versatile tools to have in bushcraft pocket . Third one is Morakniv Classic 2F , same like Classic2 but come with protective finger guard, granting a little extra safety. Then last one is Morakniv Classic 3 with blade length at 5.3inches- this is superb awesome! It’s razor sharp - shaved hair off my arm , nice and heavy .
