now that i’m learning about riko sheridan, i’m even more glad about the fact that cassandra cain has plain black hair. the fact that dc has, just to my limited knowledge, put at least three separate asian characters into the “edgy asian girl with colored hair” trope, especially with at least two of the three (not sure about riko yet) being seen as “bad” for a portion of their stories

#like obviously this isn’t a huge issue it’s just something i noticed as an asian person #and of course there’s many asian heroes who do have dark or natural colored hair; it’s just something that popped into my head recently #dc #mine #riko sheridan #lian harper #shawn tsang #cassandra cain #also i’m like 80% sure that this is riko? i’ve only seen her in robin war so far and she doesn’t look like this at all #so i’m wondering when this change happened #her wiki pages are unfortunately very blank #EDIT: apparently she and dax go evil bc duke left them :/#but! lian was only undercover! so we’re still 2/3 bad guys lol
