Clandestine by @junghelioseok is fantastic. Jeon Jungkook is the best friend of the reader’s slightly younger brother. He’s sexy and charismatic and DEFINITELY knows what he wants. The growth of his (clandestine) connection with the reader is utterly delicious. This one made me laugh and swoon.

Guarded by @xjoonchildx is basically legendary in my book. The lady in this story is not only Hoseok’s best friend’s sister—she is also his BOSS’s sister and by boss I mean mafia. This is the first installment in Ana’s amazing Rap Line Mafia Universe and it delivers on every level. Hoseok is tasked with protecting the boss’s sister after she is being threatened by sinister forces unknown and sparks fly.

Plums and Melons by @winetae is THAT FIC. The fic I just daydream about sometimes. It’s a fic about two people caught hard in eachother’s gravity. It’s so sexy and cerebral and the main characters are so hot. Jimin is just a guy trying to live his life, but whatever is brewing between him and his best friend’s sister is driving him insane. He wants to be a good guy, but she just isn’t playing fair.

Are You Sure? by @cutechim is such a swoon-worthy and touching piece of wonderful. I tell you I was MOVED. This is beautiful and emotional and EXTREMELY satisfying. Taehyung’s best friend has a sister who he has always secretly adored. When she comes to him and asks for some intimate experience, he isn’t strong enough to say no—not when she’s everything he ever wanted.

Drivers License and Detour by @gyukult is sweet and tender and just a fantastic coming of age story. The reader has been in love with her brother’s best friend, Park Jimin, for almost all of her youth... but what is going on in his head?It’s a tender story that really warms the heart. AND I am happy there is more coming. I would read about these two all day. She published the second part and oh my gosh it’s so incredibly perfect I could scream. This was just such a beautiful journey every step of the way.

Milestone by @1kook is probably one of the first brother’s best friend BTS fics I read and it is amazing. I adore it so much. Because Jungkook is your brother’s best friend he is there for every milestone in your life. But you’ve both grown up now and neither of you are kids anymore. It’s hot. Like really hot. Dialogue and set up are so sharp and fast paced I really loved every second.

Young God by @njssi is scorching hot smut with complicated feelings and warm revelations. You think it’s going somewhere and then it goes somewhere else and honestly it is so awesome the whole time. Jungkook was always your brother’s sweet little friend, but he’s returned determined to show you that he is all grown up.

Tease by @caiuscassiuss floored me. I loved it so much! I spent the whole story just squealing happily about everything. This story has it all. It’s scorching hot. It’s enemies-to-lovers. It’s Taehyung. Jungkook’s sister and Kim Taehyung do not get along AT all—so she decides to bring him to his knees by making him desperate for her. It’s a wild and completely awesome ride.

Wasabi by @ironicarmy is a classic. Hobi is a bad boy that Namjoon vehemently refuses to let near his precious baby sister. But love is too strong a force and soon Hobi and the clever object of his desire decide that some things are worth fighting for. It’s a really sweet story of facing challenges and relying on the people you love. Warm and fuzzy feelings abound, but it’s also super hot.

Forbidden by @btssmutgalore is a masterwork blueprint for this trope. Hobi is a carefree player who falls brutally for Taehyung’s sister. They two of them eventually give in to a VERY steamy series of secret encounters and feelings get very involved. This is hot, suspenseful, and emotionally satisfying. Excellent characterizations as well.

Prohibido by @personasintro is an office AU with a twist. Namjoon is not only her brother’s best friend, he is also her boss and the two of them have incredible chemistry. Watching them pretend that they’re not insanely attracted to each other is so endearing and hot. Reader is convinced her feelings are one-sided. It’s lovely and fun. Definitely a slow burn, but worth it.

Strawberry Kisses by @kimnjss is a fic that I devoured in one sitting and then re-read again immediately. Jeon Jungkook is a player who matches with a girl on a dating app and has no idea she is the sister of his revered mentor and close friend, Min Yoongi. I laughed. I cried. I GASPED OUT LOUD a bunch. It was a whole thing. This is a hybrid social media/written AU and it’s pretty much perfect.

Tempestuous by @ppersonna is so special to me because it was written at the very beginning of my friendship with Lindy. She was looking for requests and I was quick to request my favorite trope. Lindy is bae now and this fic she wrote is marvelous. You are forced to spend the weekend in the same house with your sexy arch-rival Taehyung who just so happens to be your brother’s best friend. Naturally snarky hotness ensues.

Off Limits @floralseokjin is basically a famous entry when it comes to this trope. It’s a Jin fic and Miss Jordan writes EXQUISITE Jin characterizations. There is a hint of mistaken (or unknown) identity in this one which makes it even more fun. Sparks fly between you and a devilishly charming Kim Seokjin at a party. You don’t find out until later who he really is—and why he’s off limits.

And finally I’ll recommend my own Brother’s Best Friend fic All I Want for Christmas is You featuring a charming Taehyung who falls for Jimin’s sister. Jimin basically blackmails his best friend into escorting his sister to several holiday galas. Tae and Jimin’s sister have never gotten along, but they soon discover (through multiple pranks and mishaps) that love (and desire) are out of their control.

Not Your Fairytale by @yeojaa is incredibly sweet and tender. Erin really does emotion so well and her Yoongi characterization is honestly so nuanced and brilliant. This story is about a girl who had her heart broken and instead of canceling the cake tasting she scheduled with her philandering ex-fiancé, she wrangles the tsundere best friend of her brother to pretend to be him.

Brother’s Best Friend by @bts-hyperfixation is a short and sweet moment between two people who have been fighting their attraction for each other. It is so hot and delicious I tell you. You’re in trouble and the person you call is probably the person you shouldn’t—but you aren’t the only one willing to take a risk tonight.

Off Limits by @kaddiiction will break your heart and put it back together again. This one was recommended to me by a reader and I cannot thank them enough. It is fantastic. Jimin is a player but he crosses the line when he begins a liaison with his best friend’s sister. Still there is far more to this situation—and Jimin—than meets the eye.

꧁Best Friend’s Brother꧂

Orectic by @gimmesumsuga is one of my favorite fics of all time. It is a hybrid fic where the reader is a cat hybrid and Hoseok is the brother of her best friend who comes to stay with her while her bestie is away... It is so tender yet SO HOT. I’m telling you I cannot even keep count of how many times I have read it.

Theophany by @ilikemesometaetaes was a JOURNEY. It made me so emotional. Like the story centers around art a lot, but let me tell you, this fic IS art. Jimin is just the man of my whole dreams in this piece as the brother of a former best friend with an irresistible allure. It is a coming of age story with the most beautiful twist. AND THE LOVE SCENE—oh my gosh I screamed it was so good. This story is just so so good.

Run by @neonlights92 is Jungkook’s story in the mafia universe I am COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH. You don’t have to read the whole series to understand it (BUT YOU SHOULD). This is best friend’s brother meets arranged marriage and honestly it’s fantastic. Jungkook doesn’t do love and affection and being forced into an arranged marriage with his sister’s friend who has always had a crush on him is just a blow to his freedom... or is she? GAH! This story—like all the stories in this universe—is superb.

The Magic to Happiness by @readyplayerhobi is a best friend’s brother meets teachers AU meets Hogwarts AU. Now... all of those are top tier tropes so finding them together is like winning the lottery. Hobi was once just a skinny kid who had obvious heart eyes for you (his sister’s best friend) but now he’s tall and confident and really attractive. The magic of this story is evident in every word of the sweet relationship that blooms between these two.

Problem with You by @monvante is so sweet and kind of hilarious. I giggled so much! Jungkook is your best friend’s brother and he is kind of too perfect and too handsome and he’s always around and you hate him and he hates you... Right? When you cross paths with the infuriating Jeon Jungkook at your best friend’s wedding, you discover that you may have been wrong about a great many things.

Show Me Yours and I’ll Show You Mine by @ktheist is so so SO fabulous. I was obsessed with this (now complete) series from the very first installment. You and Tae are besties who have know each other since you were little kids, but lately Tae’s older brother Jin has been lookin mighty fine. Just how far can you push him till he breaks. And if he breaks.... what then?

Jikook really seem to be feeling some kind of way in a lot of these episodes. Meanwhile, the Run editors (or whoever writes the on-screen text) are getting increasingly sassy and I am here for it!

Ep 81 “BTS VR Part 1" (Ep: 2 / KM: 3)

The ones where we are again reminded that watching people play arcade games doesn't make for the best TV (but at least the guys are having fun!)

2:49 - JM puts his arm around JK as teams are announced.

4:20 - When JM is joking around about being on a VR train, he directs his silliness at JK and they are the only two laughing.

4:54 - JK puts his hands on JM's back to guide him to the next room.

5:00 - JK says that Jimin loves things like this.

6:37 - JM directs his comment that he feels motion sick to JK. JK laughs and says it'll be fun.

7:50 - Jimin laughs delightedly as he watches JK act like he's controlling the skateboard in the VR.

19:44 - JK comes and leans over JM's shoulder to look at his controller.

01:34 - Jimin directs his unheard query about the game they're playing to JK and then keeps looking in his direction despite JK not giving any answers.

2:12 - It's kind of adorable how funny JK finds Jimin's crow imitation.

2:33 - JM keeps his eye on JK when they're doing a hand flip game to decide teams and seems to be poised to change his answer depending on JK's.

12:04 - After hitting a good shot over the net, JK asks someone "did you see that?" Next time the camera returns to them, JM seems to have swum over to JK to congratulate him (to be fair to Jimin, JK did look really hot doing it with wet hair).

16:12 - JK and JM high five after working together to get the ball back over the net.

BEHIND 0:26 - Hobi tells JK that he has an extra earring - pointing to a large hoop earring JK has hanging off one of his hoops - and tells him to remove it because he doesn't like it. JK says, "but I like it."  Pointing this out because I've seen some jikookers speculate that JK is wearing one of JM's (as we see him do in Festa 2020). I think that's really cute, but I'm not sure it's accurate, as in Part 3 we see that JM has put all his earrings back in after all the water activities and JK still has the "extra" one.  But don’t worry... there’s some undeniable jewelry-sharing coming up later!

03:15 - JM and JK paddle around adorably together. The caption labels them "Puppykitty and Kookbunny" <3

34:44 - JM and JK, the only two who appear to be truly invested in the outcome of this game, strategize together.

5:15 - JK and JM cutely exchange the ball while paddling.

10:10 - JM and JK joke with each other about how fast the boat was. When JK says, "he didn't listen to me" (which is already a very BF statement), he uses banmal. 

11:42 - JK offers JM some food and then watches as JM lenas his head all the way back to eat the (phallic) food.

16:52 - JM asks JK for one bite of ramyeon. JK gives him a bunch in his bowl and says "this is how much I care about you."

32:40 - This is the true jewelry sharing moment of these episodes! We see that, through dinner, JK had on two silver chain bracelets. After dinner (where they all drank and goofed around), one is missing. Jimin has on long sleeves, but here you can see up them as he's opening his present and, sure enough, JM is wearing JK's missing bracelet! I think it's made even more interesting by the fact that it seems like he was trying to not make it obvious he was wearing it - he had it pushed pretty high up his arm and covered by his sleeve - you really wouldn't notice it unless you were looking for it...

Ep 86 "Hangul Day Special Part 1" (Ep: 2 / KM: 0.5)

The ones where you have no hope of playing along, so just enjoy that the guys are incapable of not saying the word "okay" despite promising not to use any English all episode...

It may not sound like much, but this is the show at its best.    6:28 - Jimin makes up a rule that JK has to draw an extra card because he forgot the choreo. It doesn't sound like much from the description, but Jimin's tone and smile make it feel rather flirty.

7:00 - It takes JK until here to realize that Jimin doing the above skipped his turn. When he expresses this, JM gives him a finger heart.

9:20 - Jimin tries to convince JK not to switch the card color using the look and low voice he did back in the New Years episode. No luck.

26:54 - When Jimin is supposed to be acting out song lyrics, he barely starts acting before JK guess the lyrics correctly, causing the others to ask if it's telepathy. They're both super excited and hug adorably until JHope starts pulling on JM's arm to get them to cool it. Then, Jimin heads back to his chair and is laughing so hard he falls out of it. A concerned JK comes over to check on him and ends up falling on top of him. They're both still laughing as JK helps JM up.

BEHIND 6:04 - Jimin finds JK's shouting so funny he is on the floor laughing, which makes JK crack up too as the rest of the group looks on confused. JHope eventually cuts it off by seating Jimin next to JK.

"Isn't she Y/N?"-Jungkook pointed out. Namjoon hadn't noticed when you had disappeared but now he was a little bit relieved that nothing bad had happened to you. As a small smile graced his lips, he turned around to call out for you. You weren't even gone for that long yet he missed.

However, he smiled vanished when he saw your stunning dress pooling over your feet as you danced closely to Soo-bin. He had his arms wrapped around your waist while you caged his neck with your own limbs. Namjoon's heart cracked and he felt how a warm hand rested on his shoulder, squeezing it slightly-"Do you want to sit down?"-Seokjin asked but Namjoon shook him off.

Determined, he inhaled some new air, squared his shoulders up and walked your way. Soobin saw him coming and politely handed you to him, gifting you an awards-smile before disappearing into the crowd. Namjoon was quick to replace the former man, placing his palm on your lower back and grabbing your free hand as you rested your other one on his shoulder-"If you wanted to dance with me"-you giggled-"You just needed to ask"

"You seemed way too concentrated to interrupt"-Namjoon answered shortly. Your eyebrows furrowed and you decided you had had enough. Caressing his jaw, you tipped your head upwards and kissed his cheek softly. Namjoon chuckled-” Maybe I could´ve interrupted earlier”

Jin (Kim Seokjin)

Seokjin was ready, he had just been waiting for you to arrive to the party. Tonight, he decided that it was the right moment to confess his feelings towards you. He wanted to love you without having to hide what he felt. And, even though this could damage you friendship, he could not avoid his overwhelming emotions any longer. However, when you entered the place looking extremely gorgeous, his mouth went dry.

You smiled at him, tumbling your way past a group of people to greet Jin properly. Little did Jin know that someone woul pull you away as soon as you crossed his path. Hueningkai encaged your body with his limbs as he started guiding you to the dance area, swaying your body leisurely. Seokjin was baffled but made sure to cover his emotions by gulping donw a glass of sparkling water. He couldn´t let a boy win you over, not tody. He arranged his suit before striding towards the dancing couple. He tapped Heuningkai´s shoulder two times and smiled sweelty when he truned around. The kid seemed anxious when Seokjin asked if he could dance with you, letting you go almost immediately-”You don´t seem like the jealous type”-you snickered.

“It´s because I´m not”-he argued.

“Don´t worry”-you grinned.”It suits you”

Suga (Min Yoongi)

It was no secret Yoongi liked you.

You were one of the few people he let in his studio and you were nearly the only one who he demanded cuddles from. At this point, you already knew he had a crush on you. You wanted to confess but he just became too embarassed whenever you approached him recently. So you thought that maybe you needed to ingnite some new feeling in order to end with his shame. Therefore, you covered you body with the finest clothing you owned and went to their special party, which you had been invited too. You assesed how his eyes sparkled with mischief as you parded your way towards BTS´ table. However, Yoongi was not the only one captivated by you beauty. From the corner of his eye, he observed how TXT members gulped and whispered amazed. But could Yoongi blamed them? No, you were absolutely stunning.

You wre nearly in front of Yoongi when, suddenly, a Tae-hyun blocked you view, a sttutering sentence coming out from his mouth. Yoongi knew you were far too humble to deny the boy´s request, so he watched gloomily how you were snatched away from him. The even went on and, even though you had stopped dancing with Tae-hyun a long time ago, Yoongi couldn´t master a single look your way. More than fed up, you decided to give hina  cold shoulder too focusing on the things happening on the stage. However, Yoongi was waiting for the party to finish because, once over, he would finally confess his feelings for you.

“I know I´m terrible at this”-he declared-”But seeing you dance with Tae-hyun...”

Jhope (Jung Hosoek)

He didn´t intend to interrupt TXT´s dance practice but they had called him since they had a dubt about the coreography. However, his actual worry bloomed when he saw you standing in the middle of the room, hand interwined with Yeon-jun´s as he embraced you waist with his free limb. He was tenderly guiding you through the dance as you memorized each step with ease-”Ah! Hyung! We are practicing the part were we have to slow-dance”-Soobin muttered trying no to disturb you-”Y/N-ah offered to help us, isn´t she awesome?”

Hoseok noddded, eys stilled fixed on your swaying body. You seemed so comforted by Yeon-jun´s arms. Hoseok brows depened as tears threatened to spill but he sucked in a breath and focused on teaching the coreography to the members who were not occupied. However, when the lesson ended, Hseok intercepted you by grabbing you wrist. He spun you around and glued you to his chest-”Y/N I want to dance with you as well”-he blurted out, unable to form a coherent sentence when he caught how your eyes sparkled with joy-”I was meaning to tell you this in a more special way but...”

“I know, Hobi”-you hushed him-”Now, don´t talk. Let´s just dance”

Jimin (Park Jimin)

You were one of Big Hit´s make-up artists. Although you had worked there for only an year, both groups, TXT and BTS, had grown a certain liking for you. During events, they would playfully fight so as to know who would you accompany. It was chaotic, but you loved them anyways.

“You´re goint to your cousin´s wedding and you don´t know how to slow-dance”-Beom-gyu mocked innocently. You shook your head embarrassed and he chuckled, claiming that with a good teacher you would learn fast-”Lucky for you, I´m available and I am an incredible teacher”-he winked. You complied because, otherwise, you would have been doomed. The rest of TXT watched amused from the couch, taking out their phones to film everything. Afterwards, they sent it to the group chat they had with BTS.

“Lucky kid”-Yoongi hummed as he threw his phone to Jimin, who caught it swiftly. He watched how Bemo-gyu hugged you lovingly as he taught you how to dance. Jealousy bubbled inside his chest as he locked the phone and left the room. After some hours, he found you closing the parctice room´s door while checking your phone. He snatched the device from your hand and stared at you-”What´s the matter with you?”-you giggle.

“I´m so in love you, Y/N”-he blurted out-”So dance with me instead”

V (Kim Taehyung)

Taehyung was a patient man.

Therefore, when he saw you dancing with Soobin, he just waited for the next song to come. However, when he caressed you wrist slowly as he tangled his arm in you waist, he made sure to pull you even closer to his body. You didn´t complain. In fact, you snuggled your head on the crook of his neck sighing contently. When the ballad finsihed and you attempted to pull away, Taehyung groaned and locked you in between his arms-”You will dance the following song with me too”

“And why is that?”-you questioned.

“Becaus I´m in love with you”-he confessed-”And I like having you in my arms”

Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook)

Jungkook, unlike Taehyung, wouldn´t waste a minute as soon as he saw how Yeon-jun was dancing extremely close to you.

Jungkook was now a Hyung and he would use that to his advantage. He stood up from his seat, arranged his hair and marched your way. Yeon-jun was quick to excuse himself as he caught Jungkook´s intimidating eyes, leaving you alone in the middle of the room. However, as you were about to turn around, Jungkook caught your arms and ushered you to dance with him. A/N: Didn’t exactly plan this, but I figured someone might ask for it eventually.

“Y/n? Y/n, baby, wake up, I need you to wake up. Our baby needs you to wake up.”

You barely managed to pry your eyes open, feeling like you got hit by a truck. No, like you did after the tornado. But worse.

“There, come on, wake up. Please, y/n. Please,” Hobi’s voice was desperate as he pleaded with you to keep waking up.

You frowned a little in confusion. You were in pain. A lot of pain.

“Open your eyes and look at me,” He said more urgently.

You did, finally looking at him, but he was out of focus. “What’s going on?” You slurred.

“You had a seizure. Also, the baby came early and you need to stay awake. Just stay with me, and keep talking to me.”

“I don’t feel like I’m having a baby,” You said, feeling confused.

Hoseok offered you a smile, but you were starting to notice how pale and sweaty he was. His eyes red. “You already had it, baby. They had to do a c-section. But I need you to stay awake.”

“I couldn’t have had it, it’s not time yet.”

Hoseok let out a choked sound. “I know. I know it’s not time yet.”

Alarm started to keep you awake, but it was a struggle. “Where’s my baby? Hobi, what’s happening?”

“You had a seizure, a really bad one, and they had to do a c-section for both of your safety. He’s being taken care of, y/n. We’ll go see him together when you’re stronger,” He sobbed. “I’ll go see him when you’re stable.”

“Hobi…” You whispered, tears filling your eyes.

He wiped them, and you noticed how badly his hands were trembling. “Stay with me. Please stay with me.”

“I’m here,” You said.

“Stay here,” He answered, pressing his forehead to yours. “Stay here this time.”

“I will,” You whispered.

You didn’t.

You woke up again, feeling groggy and unclear and like you’d just had to worst sleep in your life.

Hoseok was asleep in the chair beside your bed. Your stomach hurt. Your chest hurt. Your head felt like someone had turned on a static-y channel and turned the volume up all the way.

“Y/n? You’re awake?”

You turned toward the soft voice, recognizing Jin after a moment. “What happened? I was at home, making lunch.”

“You had a seizure, and it pushed you into early labor. They took you for an emergency c-section, but they had a lot of trouble keeping you alive,” Jin explained softly, helping you to take a couple ice chips. “Your son is fine, he’s in the NICU. They let Emma up and she’s been checking on him as often as possible. Hoseok has been up there as much as he could ever since you stabilized and we made him rest to recover from his panic.”

You let the ice melt in your mouth while your brain made sense of it all. A vague memory of a panic-ridden Hoseok begging you to stay formed fuzzily in your head.

“Y/n?”

“Sorry, I heard, just…processing is a little slow,” You whispered, closing your eyes.

“I better wake Hoseok, give you two time. He’ll definitely cry, though, just a warning.”

“I can handle tears,” You replied, turning your head to watch him gently wake Hoseok.

Heart breaking at the panic that seemed to wake Hoseok completely.

“What?! What happened? Are they okay?” He immediately looked at your heart monitor and then Jin.

Jin placed his hands on his shoulders, carefully turning him toward you again.

“My poor Hobi,” You whispered.

His eyes filled and he was suddenly on the bed, holding you so delicately that you thought you might be close to breaking as well. He sobbed wordlessly into your shoulder.

“I’m sorry, Hobi.”

“Don’t apologize for being alive,” He sobbed back, holding you a little tighter.

“I’m not. I burned lunch.”

He choked, but you could see a smile. “I don’t mind.”

“You do, you hate char on your grilled cheese.”

He was laughing-sobbing now. Sobghing? “I’ll eat it because you made it for me. Oh, yn, he’s the cutest little thing ever.”

“He’s so early, though,” You whispered, worried.

“They said he’s doing really well, they’re impressed. And since Emma just had her baby, she,” He paused to cough and sniff, “She’s been giving them milk for him.”

You nodded, resting your head on his.

“I almost lost you,” He whispered, barely loud enough to hear. “I almost lost you again.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t want to leave you.”

He just nodded, quietly crying. Calmly crying. He pushed himself up to hold you more. Your head to his shoulder his arms around you. His lips on your forehead, pressing kisses to your face with words you couldn’t make out. “Rest, baby. Rest and get strong. Please.”

You nodded, getting as comfortable as you could and closing your eyes.

“He’s so small,” You whispered, looking at your adorable little one, finally out of his incubator and in your arms where he belonged.

Hoseok’s hand was almost as big as him, resting on your son’s back. “Hello, our little one,” He whispered, sounding like he might cry from the joy of it. “We’re gonna break him.”

You laughed softly, but were choking up. He was so, so fragile. “We still need to name him.”

He laughed as well, pressing closer to look at your baby. “I can’t think of any.”

You smiled. “Finally gave up on Huimang?”

He hummed. “He doesn’t feel like a Huimang.”

“I was thinking Hyunseok, Hyunshik, Inseok, or maybe Hyeonjun?”

He smiled. “I like Inseok.”

You smiled. “Inseok it is. Can you get the birth certificate?”

“Mmm, later.” He pulled you closer, thumb gently rubbing your son’s cheek. “Oh. Can you take a picture for us?”

The nurse nodded, taking Hoseok’s phone, and taking the picture.

Hoseok grabbed the birth certificate since he’d moved anyway, filling it out for the two of you. Then he picked up his phone, quickly coming back to your side while he sent the picture to the family chat with the message, “Held Inseok for the first time today”.

His family had been amazing, taking care of you two (which often meant staying with you while dragging Hoseok to the nearest home to shower and nap in a real bed. Taehyung was especially good at dragging Hoseok away, mostly because Hobi was still in the mindset of “I don’t see you as often as I should” instead of “you live half an hour away from me and I can see you as often as I like) and making sure you had everything you needed. It helped that Emma was also still in the hospital that first week (the doctors had concerns about their daughter’s heart and Emma had been having some blood pressure issues), and she’d let you hold her baby when you got too sad about not being able to hold your own.

They’d backed off a bit now that you were getting healthier (and because Emma and their daughter, Hana, were home now) and mostly just brought you food and other comfort items. They also were always asking if they could help in any way, and when they’d be able to see the baby in person (but in a kind way, not in a pushy way).

Tae had been going to your house and keeping your plants alive and finishing the nursery for you guys. He’d done a nice mural in there that you were really happy with even though it hadn’t been planned.

“Look at his little tail,” Hoseok gushed in whisper as your baby’s tail moved a little. “And his little ears!”

You laughed softly, then pressed a very gentle kiss to the top of your baby’s head. “He’s perfect. I just wish I could have carried him to term.”

He pressed a kiss to your forehead. “They said we might want to consider adopting if we want more kids. It’s too dangerous for you. I’ve heard about some really good places we could adopt from.”

You nodded, resting your head on his shoulder. “Okay.”

He kissed your forehead. “And for now, we have our perfect little cub.”

“Beyond perfect. He’s so perfect,” You whispered, closing your eyes and focusing on the little body laying on your chest. “How did we make something so perfect?”

He laughed breathily, then pressed a kiss to your lips, followed by a kiss to the top of Inseok’s head and the tips of his cute little fox ears. “Because he’s the product of True Love, the most powerful thing in all the realms.”

“Your TV privileges have been revoked with that,” You teased, but you were smiling. “I love you so much, Hoseok.”

He met your gaze, so serious and sincere. “I love you more.”

You let him win with that, especially since you’d found out that your heart stopped twice. “I stayed for you.”

He nodded, pressing his forehead to yours, and holding you like you were fragile and precious. “I’ll always stay with you.”

Kim Seokjin

After eating dinner alone for the 4th time this week, you've become accustomed to eating in front of the television watching dramas to fill the lonely air. Because a comeback is nearing, the boys spend all their time prepping and finely tuning the choreography and music to make sure everything is more than perfect and you are more than understanding of his career. But none of the less, you still feel a bit lonely without your partner. When Jin comes home, it's usually after you've cleaned up and gone to sleep. Plus when you wake up his already gone or walking out the door. Tonight the solitude gets to you. Sitting like a pretzel on your shared loveseat, you have your dinner in your lap and a glass of wine in hand.

"His is sooo dumb! Who would he stay with her!?" You slurred at the show you're binge watching. "I'm over this!", you say as you watch the next episode. As the show buffers, you hear the door unlock and out comes your beloved bf. Tired and worn out from his schedule but mostly shocked that you're still up.

"Y/n? Why are you still awake?" he questions you with a low and groggy voice. As he heads to the couch next to you, he grabs your glass and puts it down, then leans down to give you a peck. With a exaggerated puff, he asks how much wine have you drunk. You pout saying just a few. He gets up from the couch just to drape his body on you and the loveseat. You lazily reach your hand down to stroke his soft black hair, causing him to hum softly. Your fingers slow down as you close your eyes.

"I miss you Jinnie" in a hush without realizing you said it out loud. Jin looks up at you to see a slight gloomy expression that paints your face. He lays still for a couple of minutes after your fingers stop, signaling you've fell asleep. He slowly gets up, praying you don't wake up. He softly places your dishes in the sink and turns off the tv. He goes to the bedroom to get the bed ready and goes back to softly pick you up. You mutter something but the only thing on Jin's mind is taking care of you. He knows how much you love him and how patient you are, especially during heavy scheduling. He loves you just as much as his career.

He tucks you in bed and strokes your cheek, marveling at you beauty and soft sighs. Once he's done with his shower, he comes back to bed and lays under the covers beside you. When you feel the sunken pressure of the bed, you scoot you body and lays head on his shoulder. Jin shuts his eyes tight trying not to laugh at his cute S.O.. "Goodnight love" he whispers to you as he wraps one of the arms around his torso. "'night looove" you sigh in a sing-song manner.

He smiles.

Kim Namjoon

"One shot! Two shots!!" Taehyung and Jungkook chants at you and Jimin as you two toss back shots of soju. The rest of the boys cheer you two on as the once chill dinner party turns into an all out turn up before anyone even realized it. It likely happened after your bf Namjoon said he was shock at first at how much you can hold your own at a bar causing Jimin to get competitive and the rest of the maknaes instigating. But Joon didn't mind. He was sitting across the room with Hoseok enjoying he show.

"Wooow! Y/n is awesome" taehyung said in disbelief. "She practically and of us" Yoongi yells from god-knows where. "Ahhhh that shot was spicy" you complain sticking your tongue out trying to cool your mouth as Jimin falls down laughing. You feel a large hand on you shoulder causing you to look up. It's Joon with a glass of water ready for you like he was waiting to rescue you. And you react as if he was your superman.

"MY HERO!" You clasp the glass with both hands as you look up adoringly at your tall and beautiful bf. The sweet but glassy look in your eyes flustered him. Causing everyone to taunt you both like a bunch of middle schoolers, especially Jin and Hoseok. Joon pulls out your chair so you can rest and hydrate then pulls out the next chair for himself.

As the night goes on everyone is playing a board game. The game goes on too long for everyone's liking and decides to let you be the tie breaker between Hoseok and Joon. Tipsy you say they should do aegyo with ot5 agreeing with too loudly that Namseok couldn't protest. First Hoseok did his signature cute noises and faces but everyone groaned except you laughing. Next is Joon, who hesitated but made a smirk face, displaying his dimples and sultry smize. Without hesitation you lean in and kiss him on the lips causing everyone to groan again.

"Did I win?" Namjoon asks excitedly.

"No, Hobi wins" you say matter of factly.

Everyone cheers but you and Joon. "Why didn't I win?" He ask sadly. Grabbing his shoulders to pull in closer to you. "I said cute not sexy" you wink at him. Causing him to get flustered again.

Min Yoongi

After coming home to your shared apartment after a nice dinner with all the boys, Yoongi drives you both home to the hum of the soft radio. Eyes closed, you try to listen to the radio but your head is spinning. Because of the silence, Yoongi thinks you are asleep but in reality you are festering. And you stay like that till you feel the car pull up to the drive away. Shocked that you are awake enough to hop out the car by yourself. He follow you to place his hand on the small of your back to keep you balanced but you don't react.

The silence was left unnoticed by your boyfriend because your both pretty quiet at this hour but he definitely felt a bit a tension. You head in opposite directions as he goes to the kitchen for water and you start undressing on the way to the master bedroom. He makes his way to the bedroom, placing a glass of water on your bedside dresser, and search for comfortable pajamas. You finally walk out of the bathroom wearing a tank top and pyjama pants. Yoongi watches you as you sit on the bed like a pretzel while you fiddle with you nails.

"What?" Yoongi ask frankly.

"What." You respond.

Your boyfriend finishes knotting the drawstring of his pants then walks up to you.

"Did you enjoy the dinner?" He tries to get you to talk.

"Yes... Did you?" You don't look at him.

Ready to give and go to bed, he responds. "Yeah, the steak was good and the guys were cheery as usual." He sits on the bed gearing to lay down. " I bet you have fun. Knowing Kookie was there..." You say under your breath. Yoongi sat up, looking at you puzzled, "what are you-". You cut him off, finally looking at him with red eyes. "You like him better than me Yoong, I already know! Jungkook told me"

He sits there even more confused. "You let him get away with bothering you but when I do it, I'm a brat!"

"You are a brat" he chuckles at you making you huff and pout. He sees that you're still tipsy so he's finding your scene cute and he tells you so. "You're cute y'kno that right?" He grabs your hand and gently pulls you on him. Still pouting, he reaches up to caress you cheek as you hold onto his hand, "I'm cuter than Jungkook, right?" you as him. The position you're in and the look on your face causes Yoongi to blush.

"You're way cuter than him now. But when when he was younger-" you stop him with a kiss. "I'm kidding *kiss* You're *kiss* the cutest *kiss*." You giggle and carry on you night together.

Jung Hoseok

After a strenuous comeback season, you finally get to spend quality time with you boyfriend and you both were excited about it. Your relationship was fairly young still. Introduced by neutral friends, you both hit it off almost instantly. After you two were paired to sing a duet together during karaoke night with friends, you both quietly agreed to sing as loud and as off-key and possible and put on a show for everyone. The end of that night, he asked if you wanted to go out again and 5 months later you two are cuddling on the couch enjoying your time.

With a table full of half drunking booze and discarded snacks, you two layed there in pyjamas and comfy clothes, surfing Hulu for a good show to no prevail. "Y/n-" he tries to ask you something but you already have an answer, "there's nothing on Hobi". He puts the remote down in defeat. You reach out to grab your beer, waiting for some type of activity to be proposed.

"Alexa, my Hot Mix" you hear the chime go on and off

"Playing your Hot Mix playlist" it responds

Suddenly you hear your boyfriend's energizer music play as he gets up. You watch as he starts dancing in front of you. Smiling ear to ear, he looks like he's having the time of his life. "Get up and dance." He calls you up to join but you sit there watching him for a bit. "You said you were bored so come dance with me baby." He grabs your hands and leads you up with him. You slowly dance with him unconfidently. Hoseok notices your stiffness and changes the playlist.

"Alexa, play Extra Hot Mix" it chimes on and off.

"Playing Extra Hot Mix playlist."

The music changes to from high energy to slow and sexy. Hoseok puts your arms around his neck loosely then his places his hands on your hips. He guide you to dance to the slow pace of the song as you both look into each other's eyes.

"Better?", he ask with a smile.

"Much better" you respond happily.

Park Jimin

The atmosphere of the club is just as intoxicating as the drinks they served. Your friends egging you on with shots sounded like a good idea till half pass 12, when you were clinging onto your designated drived/boyfriend: Park Jimin.

He didn't like you drinking but he's just glad to be there to watch over you but promised he wouldn't overbearing. He sat at your booth and watched as your friends and you danced and drink for a few hours. He made sure no perv would bother any of you. That was his promise to some of your girl's boyfriends, and he took that job very seriously. He was always nervous when you'd leave to your favorite club with your friends, for obvious reasons, so he wasn't going to give up this chance tonight.

"JIMIN..", he finally hears you over the booming bass and spots you signaling over to him. He maneuvers through the crowed to get to your group. As soon as he's close enough to you, you snatch his hands to put them on your hips. Before he can process it, you are backed up on him, gyrating on him in a circular motion, sloppy. He rapped his arms around you and buried his face in the crook of your neck, inhaling your warm perfume. Suddenly, he's carrying your weight as you've reach your drunken capacity.

"Baby are you okay?" There was a pause after his question. With a sluggish giggle you responded, "...of course, love.." But he know you were done.

You close your eyes and when you opened them you were in the front seat of Jimin's car. You could hear you friends laugh and chatter but you're too tired to look back to them. As you adjust your self on the seat, you looked at your boyfriend. He was stone faced, eyebrows sticked seriousness. You closed your eyes.

You grumbled as your feet is lifted from the ground but you're still in and out. You come back after feeling a soft surface underneath you causing you to moan softly. You try to open your eyes but the room is too bright. You feel a familiar hand cup your cheek, you practically purred, head still spinning.

"Are you ok?", you hear his soft song-bird voice question you and you respond with a nod and giggle.

"Do you want me to clean you up?"

"Yes please", you opened your eyes to smiled at him.

He leaves your side for a few moments then you feel weight on the bed again. You feel a slight tug at both of your eyelids as he took off your lashes first. Then you feel a cold, damp cloth on your left side then right side, then lips. Finally you smell your cocao butter lotion making you giggle again. Expecting it to be cold but it wasn't. His warm hands gently rubbed the moisturizer on your face and neck. "Thank you Chimmie" you said sweetly causing him to smile and kiss your lips.

Kim Taehyung

Small-hand in large-hand as you both walk down the street surrounded by night life. Friday night was always so crowed but the congested streets caused you to cling to your boyfriend of 3 months. But neither of you complained about the skinship. Sheepish smiles painted both your faces. You stumbled awkwardly on your wedges. You try to walk upright without him noticing your tipsy fumble. "Y/n? Are you ok?", he stops and pulls you to the side to look into your eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine. I- I must still be a bit tipsy."

You start trudging without him, trying to walking off the embarrassment but he easily catches up with you. Dating is still new to you both so you are easily flustered. Walking side by side but no longer holding hands, you two walk about half a block till something catches his attention. "Oh!", he exclaimed causing you to look up at him. He takes your hand cooing at you with a boxy smile, "let's stop by the mini market." You follow him without protest to the florescent, quiet market with calming muzak. You both nod at the welcoming workers but he let's go of your hand again and walks off.

Left alone, you walk around looking at the different brands of bubble gum on one part of the rack and oddly placed constipation pills on the other half. This makes you chuckle goofily till you hear Taehyung's low voice call you. "What kind of snacks do you want?", he waits for your response.

"Umm, bbq chips.", you say still cheesing.

"Any other snacks?", you hear his voice in the aisle behind you.

"Surprise me..", you walk down to see him but when you hit the corner, his gone. You stop at your tracks wondering where he went. Suddenly you hear the him say "just this" followed by beeps and the cashier asking cash or card. You proceed to walk down the aisle and hearing the cashier as if he needed a bag to his response, he ask for one. Finally you're through and you see him. Bag of snacks in hand, smiling thank you at the worker. Then he looks to you. When you two make eye contact, he walks over to you, one hand out asking for yours and you obliged. Smiling sheepishly.

"I bought us snack.", he grins cutely.

You brought up his hand to place it on your lips and plant a sweet kiss "Thank you."

Jeon Jungkook

"Kookie Kookie Junggukkie" you call him to the living room.

Walking out of bathroom, he wondered what you needed from him so urgently, "Y E S, my drunken sailor. What can I do ya for?" He slaps his cheeks, trying to sober himself up. Once he steps through the hallway, he see what shenanigans are in store.

"Where and when did you get THOSE?", he is puzzled to see you with green and red lightsaber in both hands. He walks closer to his zany girlfriend but you stop him by pointing your plastic sword at him. "While you were in the bathroom, I was studying the blade." It takes him time to process everything then responds with a laugh, "that's not a satisfying answer babe." No less, you hand him a sword, steps away, then challenge him. He takes a dramatic pose and you match his drama. "Fine, but I won't go easy on you cuz I like you."

You both lunge at each other. Shouting and making your own special effect noises. No score keeping, no rules, just dumb laughs and good times. "You think you can win against me?", he laughs at you. He taps you on the side first, then the leg on one side then the other. You're unstable from the drinks and the horseplay. You fall to the ground theatrically after the last blow. Still holding on to your sword, you lowered your head whilst Jungkook laughs in a cocky manner. "I warned you, Sailor. I wouldn't go easy", he brushes his hair off his sweaty forehead, closing his eyes.

You respond softly, "yea... well I won't either.." You slice the plastic sword against his right thigh, making him fall. Then you take out his sword wielding arm. He cries in anguish. Now your above him and he's looking up at you. You put the cold fake sword to his shoulder, "I started and finished this fight". You've defeated him.

He looks up at you adoringly as you look down in triumph.

"You complete me."

6 Years - Hoseok x Reader - Chapter 5 - I Just Want to Talk

Synopsis: 6 years. That’s all it can take to take another look at someone and see that they have completely changed. You were once an eager 20-year-old, with your dreams all in view, and Jung Hoseok at your side to view them with you. However, after a break up the end of your junior year of college, everything seemed different. Now, you’re a recently divorced single mother of two, and your life is nowhere near what you thought it would be. However, after reuniting with Jung Hoseok, you may just be able to capture a little bit of that exciting youth you once knew so long ago.

Chapter 5 - I Just Want to Talk

As the recital went on, you found yourself able to relax more and more. Jimin’s contemporary class went up and did a beautiful dance, the rest of the ballet divisions came up as well, and then was Hoseok’s turn. You watched him walk onto the stage and tap the microphone. Scanning the room, his eyes fell on you and he smiled in your direction. You offered a wave and listened as he introduced his group. With a roar of applause from the parents of the dancers, a group of about 15 kids flooded the stage, and the music began. The dance was fantastic, but you expected nothing less from Hoseok and his incredible dancing skills. It was truly a spectacle to watch his group, it was obvious how hard both he and his kids have worked for this.

           The recital ended around 7 that night, and Jimin came out to the microphone one last time.

           “We really hope you enjoyed all of our performances tonight. We wish you a safe trip back home and a wonderful night. Thank you.” He smiled as the room roared with applause again. You stood up from your seat, Taehyung following you with Hyo Bin still in his arms. Kids flooded from the back of the stage, running to their parents in absolute glee. You scanned the groups of kids, watching as they slowly started to thin out. That was when you saw Min Ja’s little bun poking out from the crowd of their ballet group. Her eyes were sparkling.

           “MOMMY!” She shouted, rushing over to you. You immediately squatted down, hugging her tightly as you scooped her up. “Did I do good!?”

           “You did so good!” You squealed. “I got the whole thing on video! I’m so happy for you!” You quickly pointed towards Taehyung and Hyo Bin. “Look who came to see you.” Her eyes lit up.

           “Uncle Tae!” She squealed.

           “Hey, princess!” He gasped. “Okay, niece switch, here we go!” He said, passing you Hyo Bin as he took Min Ja into his clutches. She quickly gave him the biggest hug she could muster. “You did such a good job! You must have practiced so, so much!”

           “Uh-huh! Every day for a long time!” She added. You watched her head swivel back and forth for a moment before her eyes fell to you. “Mommy, where’s Daddy?” You felt your heart sink into your stomach at that moment, as you tried to think of what you should tell her. You were silent for a moment, but you stepped closer to her and ran a hand through her hair.

           “Daddy had something important to do…but he saw your dance.” You gulped a bit, thinking back to what he had said to you earlier in the evening. “We can call him tonight, okay?” Min Ja looked a bit upset, but she nodded.

           “Okay…” she said softly. She rested her head on Taehyung’s shoulder, and he rubbed her back in hopes of comforting her.

           “How about we all go and get some dinner?” he asked her gently. He glanced up and saw Jimin and Hoseok nearby, waving off all of their students. He caught Jimin’s eye and the duo began to approach.

           “Taaaaae~!” Jimin cried happily. Taehyung grinned, quickly taking his friend into a tight hug.

           “Jimin-sshiiii~!” He grinned. “You guys did awesomely!”

           “Thanks.” He said happily. As the boys took a few minutes to catch up, Hoseok approached you. You were watching as Hyo Bin was pointing towards the stage, babbling something to you. You nodded at whatever it was she was saying.

           “That’s where Min Ja did her dance, yeah?” you hummed. She nodded in agreement. Your eyes fell over to Hoseok as he approached, and you smiled. “Hey.” You said, quickly opening your arm to give him a tight hug. “Your group was absolutely amazing!”

           “Think so? Thank you.” He smiled happily. “They worked really hard, I’m really proud.”

           “Jimin might even give you another group of students to teach.” You grinned. Hoseok chuckled a bit, a bit of red tinting his cheeks in embarrassment from your compliments. Checking the time, you knew you needed to get the girls something to eat and into bed as soon as possible. “We should probably get going. The girls are pretty hungry.”

           “Alright.” He said happily. “I’m glad that you had a good time tonight.” He said. “Well, mostly. Are you sure everything was okay before?” He asked. You couldn’t help but chuckle a bit.

           “Weong-Bin was just…making everything difficult like he always does.” You stated. “But it’s okay, really.” Hoseok didn’t look convinced. “I promise, Hobi.” You said happily.

           “Okay, but if he keeps giving you a hard time-.” He cracked his knuckles and tilted his head in an attempt to be intimidating. “I’ll take care of him.” You snorted a bit, grinning.

           “Okay, I’ll keep that in mind.” Glancing down at Hyo Bin, you smiled. “Say bye-bye, Mr. Hobi.” She waved.

           “Buh-bye, Mr. Hobi.” She said. Hoseok waved to her as well, a smile gracing his lips.

           “Bye-bye, Hyo Bin.” He said cheerfully. Turning to Taehyung and Min Ja, they were saying their goodbyes as well. Once you were ready, you offered Hoseok one last smile before you left the studio and tried to decide where you would get something to eat.

             “What, he said he wants you back!?” Taehyung gasped, standing up from his spot. You had gotten the girls something small to eat at a local pizza place, before getting them home and ready for bed. Taehyung had offered you a hand, mostly because Min Ja began crying when he tried to go home. The girls finally managed to fall asleep after a ton of different storybooks, and you had time to sit and talk with Taehyung. You didn’t want to at first, but he was pestering you just like he always has when he wanted to know something from you, and just like every time, you eventually gave in. And, just like always, Taehyung would overreact to the results just like he was now. “I’ll kill him!”

           “Please don’t…” you sighed softly, running a hand through your hair.

           “You told him no, right?”

           “Of course, I did. I didn’t divorce him just so that I could get back together with him.” Taehyung plopped back down in his seat, taking a deep breath. It was obvious he was frustrated with this.

           “He never knows when to quit, does he?” He asked. “I swear, if he tries to come around and give you a hard time, you better call me.” He said quickly. “I won’t let him treat you like that.”

           “Taehyung, I appreciate it, but work takes up a lot of your time.” Taehyung worked as an up and coming model due to his good looks, it was something he had done since high school. Since then, his popularity had required a lot of time to be taken up with photoshoots, interviews, and other demanding tasks. Since he loved his job so much, you hated to pull him away from it. “I can handle him just fine; I don’t want to bother you with this stuff.”

           “You wouldn’t be bothering me! Weong-Bin is a scumbag. And if he thinks he can just come around and try to win you back after all those years of hell he put you through, I’m not-.”

           “Don’t get yourself all worked up.” You said quickly, taking Taehyung’s hand. “I really, really appreciate it. But I promise it’s okay. I told him no already, and I don’t plan on changing my mind.” Taehyung took a deep breath, nodding as he gripped your hand tightly. “Besides, I don’t think your agency would be too thrilled if you just turned up to a photo shoot with a black eye or something.” Taehyung scoffed.

           “I wouldn’t care.” He mumbled, pouting a bit. You smiled, standing up to ruffle his head. “Hey!” He pouted.

           “It’s late. You can stay here if you want, but I’m getting ready for bed.” Taehyung opened his phone really quickly as he stood up.

           “Naah, my house is closer to the train that gets me to my shoot tomorrow. This one’s really killing me.”

           “Well when the magazine gets released, you’ll feel very accomplished.” You said. Both of you walked to the door and Taehyung gathered his things. “Have fun and be safe tomorrow.” You said happily, patting his back.

           “I will. I’ll call tomorrow.” Both of you hugged goodbye before Taehyung headed towards the elevator and out of sight. As the closed and locked the door for the night, you checked your phone. There were a couple of text messages from different people. Hoseok, Weong-Bin, Jungkook, and Jin all had sent messages while you were talking to Taehyung. Sighing, you began to reply to them as you headed into your bedroom to prepare for bed.

           The next day was the same as all of the others. You woke up, got the girls ready for the day with breakfast and food, shuffled them into daycare, and headed to the train. But…of course…the train was delayed. Excellent. With some time to kill before the next train, and your boss being made aware of your dilemma, you found yourself sitting in your favorite coffee shop, a coffee in your hands. Its warmth made your hands tingle, and you kept them both firmly wrapped around the cup.

           You couldn’t stop thinking about your interaction with Weong-Bin yesterday. How close he got to you, the way he touched you so gently, the way he spoke to you in such a gentle voice despite the venomous words that were leaving his lips.

           I want us to be a family again.

           I’m sorry that I hurt you.

           I want to be better for the girls, for you, for us.

           You groaned, resting your head on the table as you tried desperately to get those words out of your head. Nothing would work, your mind would wander to anything else except Weong-Bin, but each time, his voice would worm his way back into your ears. While you were wallowing in your despair, you didn’t realize you squeezed your cup too hard, causing the lid to pop off. Some of the hot coffee popped out of the top and hit your hands, making you shoot upright and yank your hands back, a shriek of surprise disturbing the entire café. The burning sensation made your hands throb. You quickly grabbed napkins and cleaned your hands as best as you could, while also trying to clean the table. You were cursing under your breath as you felt your fingers continue to throb and burn even after you cleaned yourself up.

           “Are you okay?!” You heard Min Sun shout as she hurried up to you with panic on her face. She quickly saw your hands were turning red. “Oh crap, let’s get you in the back and put those under cold water!” She quickly took you back behind the counter and into the staff bathroom, as to not disturb any other customers if this took long. As you stuck your hands under the cold water, you sighed a bit. “I’m so sorry that happened, was it too hot?”

           “No, Min Sun.” you said. “I was distracted, it was totally my stupidity.” You mumbled. “I just had a lot on my mind this morning.”

           “Is everything okay?” She asked curiously, her hand rubbing her little baby bump.

           “My ex-husband is just being an idiot and…it’s been distracting me.” Min Sun walked to a cabinet and pulled out a First Aid Kit. You glanced over. “Oh, my hands aren’t that bad, I don’t need anything, I’m okay.”

           “I’m gonna wrap them and put some aloe on it. They might blister.” Min Sun turned off the water and saw the back of your hands and fingers were still a bright, cherry red. She quickly took your hands and rubbed them in lotion, before putting them in some bandages. “I’m still really sorry this happened. Let me give you a snack or something, on the house.”

           “Min Sun, it’s okay, I-.”

           “Please, I want too!” Her eyes watered a bit, and she looked down. Knowing that it was probably her pregnancy hormones making her heavily emotional and guilty about this, and you sighed.

           “Okay, okay. I’ll take something.” You said. Min Sun took out a donut and put it into a bag, passing it to you with another apology. “Thank you. I’ll see you tomorrow. And don’t worry about me, I said I’m okay.” You assured, waving her off as you headed to the station. Fortunately for you, it was pulling up as you paid for your ticket and headed to the platform. Sinking into your seat, you opened your little snack up, enjoying it as you headed to work.

           “What the hell happened to you?!” Jungkook asked, eyes wide as you sat beside him. He was looking directly at your wrapped hands. “Don’t tell me you got into a fight or something.”

           “A fight, really?” you raised an eyebrow at him. “No, I didn’t. I spilled coffee on my hands.” Jungkook pouted a bit.

           “A fight would’ve been cooler. Especially if you won.” He teased, and you responded by playfully nudging him. He chuckled. “Spilling coffee on yourself isn’t as cool, I’m sorry!” Jungkook’s little bunny-like grin formed on his face as a laugh erupted from his throat. You sighed, attempting to start typing something up, but you felt your fingers sting a bit and you retracted them.

           “Ah! Damn it!” You hissed, setting your fingers down on your lap. “This is going to be a long day.” Jungkook watched as you pulled up a document you were working on the other day, a report that needed to be submitted based on your records. You tried to push through the pain that shot through your fingers each time you typed because you wanted to get your work done.

           The day went just as slow as you predicted, mostly because your hands were killing you and most likely blistering with every passing minute. Jungkook tried to help out where he could, taking most of the phone calls and filling anything out so that you wouldn’t have to curl or bend your fingers in ways that made them hurt too bad. Luckily, it wasn’t particularly busy today, most patients who came in did so sporadically throughout the day, so it led you and Jungkook to take time to relax. You were showing him the video of Min Ja’s recital last night during one of the breaks.

           “That’s so cute.” Jungkook said, his grin plastered on his face as he watched. He saw the end, where Min Ja had to be led off on stage because she stayed behind the keep bowing, and he laughed. “Oh my God, that’s so funny! She’s so cute. I need to come and see her soon. Classes have been kicking my ass lately, though.”

           “Yeah, I know. But Min Ja starts school soon herself, so when you get to come by, you’ll both have something to talk about.” You teased, setting your phone down on the table after the video came to an end.

           “She must be excited.” He said.

           “Now that the recital is over, it’s all she’s talking about. One of the girls in her group is going to the same elementary school as her, they’re both thrilled.” Jungkook chuckled as he saw a woman walk in with her two young boys. One of them looked pale, with dark circles under his eyes. The woman approached you and checked herself in as Jungkook stood up to peer over the counter at the boys.

           “You feeling okay, buddy?” he asked. The boy, no older than twelve, shook his head.

           “No…my head hurts and I’ve been throwing up. Mom thinks I’m getting the flu.”

           “Yeah, that’s been going around. We have a lot of people coming to get their shots.”

           “I got mine, but I still have the flu.” The boy pouted. Jungkook smiled as you finished checking them in.

           “Get better, buddy.” He said.

           “Thank you…” he coughed into his fist before his mother led him and his brother to a spot by the door to wait for the doctor. Jungkook sat back down and saw you looking at your phone. A look of annoyance decorated your face as you stared at the screen.

           “You okay?” he asked curiously.

           “My ex-husband keeps messaging me. He wants to talk. But I don’t want to talk to him right now.” You said, setting your phone face down on the counter again. He knew your work schedule, yet he was still sending text after text every few seconds. You didn’t want to look, not only because the notification that you did would make him send more, but because you didn’t want to know what he was possibly saying to you.

           Weong-Bin, however, had no intention of being ignored. It wasn’t long that texts turned to calls, multiple calls every few minutes. It was aggravating you, but you couldn’t turn your phone off in case Yun Yun called from the daycare. Eventually, it became too much. You’d rather get this call over with than listen to the vibration of your phone every few minutes.

           “I’ll be right back.” You said, standing up quickly. You lifted up your phone, luckily the pain in your hands began to go away, and you headed outside the office. Opening your phone, you saw 6 Missed Calls, Weong-Bin: 30 New Messages. Rolling your eyes, you called him back and waited for him to answer.

           “It’s about time I fucking heard from you!” Weong-Bin asked.

           “What do you want?!” You asked. “I’m at work in case you forgot!”

           “Don’t talk to me that way! I needed to speak with you!”

           “Well if you keep doing it with that tone of voice, I’m going to hang up!” You heard Weong-Bin take a deep breath.

           “I’m sorry, okay? I’m sorry. I just wanted to call about last night.”

           “It’s not me you should be calling or apologizing too. Min Ja was crushed that you left last night. You didn’t even call afterward!”

           “I wasn’t happy with how our conversation ended last night and I didn’t want that anger to be seen by the girls.” He huffed. You scoffed.

           “Stop, your sweetness is making me diabetic, Weong-Bin.” You hissed. You could immediately see the reaction Weong-Bin must have had in your mind. It wasn’t hard, narrowed eyes and a scrunched up nose, lips ready to spew out a string of curse words. It was a face you knew all too well.

           “I said don’t talk to me that way.” You could hear he was trying to maintain his cool. This always happened when you tried to stand up for yourself. “You don’t need to have an attitude; I’m trying to apologize.”

           “Like I said, call Min Ja later and tell her that you’re sorry.”

           “I will. But I’m also trying to apologize to you.” He took another breath before he continued. “I didn’t want our conversation to pan out the way it did last night. I really didn’t.” Crossing your arms, you leaned against the wall of the building. “I wanted it to go a lot smoother than it did with you.”

           “Well springing something so ridiculous on me on a night that has nothing to do with you is pretty messed up.”

           “I know. I just want to talk.”

           “Well, to be honest, I don’t want to talk to you.” You said. “I said I have no intention of ever-.”

           “I want to talk about it.” He repeated quickly. It put you off, and you glanced down at your free bandaged hand.

           “…Well I’m at work. So, I can’t right now.” You said softly. “Plus, I need to get the girls, afterward, and I don’t want them to hear anything about this.”

           “Have the babysitter picks them up or something.”

           “…No. I’m not inconveniencing Yuna so you can get what you want. I’m hanging up now.” You heard Weong-Bin try and stop you, but you were too quick and hung upon him. Sticking your phone in your pocket, you headed back into work to get these next 4 hours over with.

           “Everything okay?” Jungkook asked, watching as you headed back inside. You didn’t answer. “…Hm? Hey, Noona.” He tried to put a hand on your shoulder, but you shrugged him off. “…Sorry.” He said softly.

           “No, I-.” You sighed, leaning back. “Jungkook, I’m sorry.” You said softly. “My ex just loves to mess with my head.” Jungkook frowned a bit when he saw how bothered you looked.

           “I know he’s older than me…” he said softly. “But I’ll talk to him if he’s making you upset. Hyung of not, he shouldn’t treat you badly.” You couldn’t help but smile as you looked at him.

           “I appreciate that. But don’t worry, I would hate to get you involved in this stuff. I’ll handle him.” Jungkook still didn’t look convinced, but you ruffled his hair. “You’re so good to your Noona, Kookie.” The comment made him turn red and he pushed his chair away from you as far as the desk would allow. You and he had a pretty good friendship, but he was still a kid who was terrified of girls.

           “Aaaaa, stop!” He blushed, looking away as you began to laugh. With Jungkook all flustered, it improved your mood a bit, and you were able to get back to work. The rest of your time getting through work was much more relaxed, despite Weong-Bin still weighing heavily in the back of your mind.

           As the shift came to an end, both you and Jungkook were preparing to leave. The other two girls had made their way in and were settling in just as the clock struck for them to clock in.

           “Thank God!” You groaned, leaning back in your seat. “I need to go pick up the girls.” Jungkook smiled as he stood up from his seat and gathering his belongings from under the desk.

           “Are you feeling better?” he asked curiously as the two of you walked out. You both stopped to say goodbye to the nurses and doctor, giving polite bows to your seniors as they waved you off.

           “Yeah…” you sighed. “Weong-Bin just wants to talk about stuff. I really don’t want to, but I know it’s inevitable.” You both headed down the steps of the building, Jungkook talking to you about a class he was taking that was starting to stress him out. You were listening to him vent, and you smiled a bit, thinking back to your short college career where difficult course work was the least of your problems. Oh, how you wish you could return to that.

           “I can’t wait for this semester to end. Summer break has been calling my name.” You smiled a bit.

           “I feel that.” You said. “This warm weather has been wonderful.” Just as the two of you managed to exit the building and head your separate ways, you saw someone standing right in front of the doors.

Weong-Bin.

You felt your blood run cold as you stopped in your tracks, staring straight ahead as Weong-Bin. He was just putting out a cigarette, stomping it under his heel as he looked up to you.

“I decided that I didn’t want to wait.” He said. Jungkook must have noticed that you stopped because he walked closer to you and followed your gaze. He never met Weong-Bin, but based on your stature alone, he could make an accurate guess that was who you were looking at. Weong-Bin stuffed his hands in his pockets as he walked over to you. He didn’t admit an aura of intimidation right away but instead offered a kind smile. “Can we go talk?”

“I need to pick up the girls.” You said quickly. “You know that. I don’t have time to talk.”

“Is this that Weong-Bin guy?” Jungkook asked you. Weong-Bin smiled and stuck out his hand to Jungkook.

“Cho Weong-Bin, pleasure.” He said. Jungkook was hesitant, but took his hand and shook it.

“Jeon Jung Kook.” He nodded his head slightly to offer a bow of respect. “What do you want with Noona?” You saw Weong-Bin glance in your direction, and you sighed.

“Jungkook, head home.” You said quickly.

“But-“

“Like I said, I know you want to help, but this doesn’t concern you. Besides, I’ll be okay.” You offered him a kind smile and pat his shoulder. “Just head home and get some rest.” Jungkook was hesitant, but Weong-Bin, still offering that kind smile, turned back to Jungkook.

“Nice to meet you, kid.” He said. Jungkook nodded before he offered you one more look. When you nodded him off, he finally said his goodbyes and headed home. With Jungkook out of sight, Weong-Bin turned back to you. “He calls you Noona? Cute…” he sneered.

“I cannot believe you showed up to my work.” You said softly.

“Well, you obviously were trying to blow me off.” He said.

“Yeah, I know.”

“So, I knew I had to come to you.”

“But like I said, the girls-.”

“And like I said….” His voice got a little lower. “…Call. The. Babysitter.” You felt yourself shrink back a bit. “Because the longer I wait…the angrier I’m going to get.” You gulped, nodding a bit as you took a step back from him and pulled out your phone. He noticed your bandaged hands at that moment, but he didn’t say anything. Pressing the phone to your ear, you heard it ring.

           “…Yuna!” You gasped. “Yeah…hi…. I’m sorry this is short notice…. are you busy? No? Can you do me a favor and get the girls from daycare?” You could tell she was hesitant, and you felt so guilty. “I’m so sorry, something came up at work and I just need a little bit of time. I’ll pay you double and if you take them to get something to eat, I’ll pay for that too I just…” you looked up at Weong-Bin, who crossed his arms. When you heard Yuna agree, you sighed in relief. “Thank you so much. Yuna. I owe you; I really do. It won’t be long, I swear. Okay, thank you, bye.” You said and hung up. You glanced back up at Weong-Bin as you set your phone back in your pocket.

           “Was that so hard?” Weong-Bin asked, a smug grin on his face.

           “You wanted to talk? Let’s get this over with.”

A/N: I was in an angsty mood when I wrote some of these, so I apologize if I sound too harsh with these reactions. And don’t worry, there ain’t no sad endings.

Seokjin (Jin)

You were cutting up some zucchini to make ratatouille when you accidentally sliced your finger a bit. You let out a small yelp, placed the knife down, and quickly went to the sink.

Ironically, at the same time, Jin had arrived home to witness your actions.

“Y/N! Are you okay?!” Jin rushes over dropping his bag on the ground. He grabbed your hand, the one with the small cut, and began to pull you over to the first aid kit. You pulled your hand out of his grip, which shocked him.

“I’m fine! I don’t need you babying me all the time!” You shouted at him and pushed past him to clean up your cut by yourself.

By the time you finished and returned to the kitchen, Jin was sitting at the table with his head in his hands. You walked over to him and gently placed your hand on his back. You felt him tense at your touch.

“Jin... I’m- I’m sorry for yelling at you. I just had a lot on my mind and took it out on you. I’m sorry” You sat next to him while placing your hands on your lap. He looked up at you and shook his head.

“I’m the one who should apologize... I-“ he began but you put your bandaged finger on his lips to shush him.

“Hush, lets just make this ratatouille together, okay?” you suggested. Jin smiled and nodded his head.

Yoongi (Suga)

You wanted to hear some of his songs, so you dropped by his studio. He reluctantly gave you pair of headphones and let you take a listen.

You were loving it so much that you couldn’t help but say something.

“Yoongi! This sounds really good!” You shouted at him.

“You don’t have to yell!” He mocked back at you.

“Oh, sorry,” you took off the headphones embarrassingly. He waved it off and gladly took the headphones back.

You were studying for you finals coming up and you were practically pulling out your hair in stress. You heard your bedroom door open and arms wrap around your waist.

“Come on Y/N, let’s go watch a movie or something. You’ve been cooped up in your room for basically the whole day” Namjoon mumbled into your ear and all you could do was nod your head. You realized that taking a break would be good, and watching a movie would relax your mind.

You guys settled on the couch and decided to watch whatever was on TV, which happened to be a romcom.

“Pfft, that’s so cliché. Obviously once the girl takes off her glasses, then everyone suddenly likes them. I mean, what’s so wrong with glasses?” Namjoon complained at the television.

“Omg Joonie, it’s just a TV show. Can you for once not analyze something and just enjoy it?” you announced in annoyance. Realizing what you said you quickly opened your mouth to apologize.

“It’s okay Y/N. I understand, your stressed, so I’ll keep quiet.”

“No, I’m-”you stuttered out your words, but he pulled onto his lap and hugged you.

“Shush, just watch the movie” he whispered and kissed the top of your head.

Hoseok (J-hope)

It was Saturday, which means it was game night. Almost every Saturday, you and Hobi would find a random board game to play. It was your turn to choose, so you went with that classic Candyland game. A knock at your door broke you out of your thoughts. You opened it and in came a smiling Hobi.

“Come on! I decided that we should play Candyland!”

It was a little after you guys started when you realized Candyland wasn’t as fun as it used to be. You ditched the game and Hobi decided a tickle fight would be better. You disagreed but he quickly started to tickle you.

“Hahaha~ Hobi stop, that’s too much~ hahahaha~ I SAID STOP!”

This surprised you both, you had never yelled so loud in your life. He quickly pulled his hands away as you caught your breath.

“I-I’m sorry Y/N.”

“No, no, I’m sorry. It’s just too much tickling gets me upset, you know?”

You quickly pulled him into a hug, but he didn’t expect you to tickle him.

You wanted to surprise the boys with some lunch because you knew they had been practicing for their comeback nonstop. You arrived at the dance studio and slowly opened the door. They were about half way through the song and decided to wait until they finished to announce that you were here.

“Oh! Guys, Y/N is here!” Jungkook noticed your reflection in the mirror and announced to the group. Everyone made their way over to you except Jimin, who continued dancing.

“Hey guys! I brought some food” you held up some plastic bags which were slightly making indents in your hands because of how heavy they were.

“Come on Jimin, I got your favorite~”

“No thanks.”

“Leave him be Y/N, he’ll come around” Namjoon said after swallowing some chicken.

“No, he should come over here and eat something. I can tell he hasn’t eaten all day and it isn’t healthy!” You announced louder than you had meant too, “Oh snap, I didn’t mean to raise my voice. I apologize so much.”

“I understand your concern Y/N, but I promise you I will eat something okay?” Jimin gave you a smile and you let out a sigh.

“Alright, you better.”

Taehyung (V)

“Oh my god, why can’t you just act your age for once!”

What just happened was an accident. You were in the toy store getting something for your friend’s child’s birthday when you bumped into Tae. You were already frustrated with the fact that everything was so expensive for kids toys and now you were confused as to why Tae was here. You saw him playing in the sand pit that was set up and couldn’t help but blurt out what you said in the beginning.

Tae looked over at you with a pout on his face while you rubbed your temples. You opened your eyes and saw that he had disappeared.

“Wha-”

“Here, get this, it’s cheap and very interactive. I’m sure they will love it.” You turned around to see Tae smiling while holding up a toy.

“But, what?” You were confused as to how he suddenly changed moods.

“It’s okay Y/N, I understand.” He gave you a pat on the head and left.

The pitter-patter of rain began to hit against the window of the living room of which you were calmly reading a book on the couch, when suddenly the power went out. You placed your bookmark in the book and closed it. You heard a frustrated groan and a door open from down the hall. You turned the flashlight on your phone on and out came a very frustrated Jungkook. You gave out a small laugh as he turned to glare at you. You got up to find some candles to light around the room.

After getting the lighting situated, you both decided to play some Monopoly. You didn’t expect for him to get so competitive with it. Sure you knew he was a competitive person, but with Monopoly? You were about half way through the game when the power came back on. You thought you guys would finish the game, but Jungkook quickly jumped up and left the room, back to the computer.

“Is playing the computer so much more important then playing board games with me!? I mean, I get it, but you hardly come out that room anymore!” You yelled down the hall angrily. You huffed out and resisted the urge to fling the Monopoly pieces across the room. You started to clean everything up when Jungkook emerged from the room.

“What is it now?” you mumbled while picking up the houses, but he grabbed your arm stopping you.

“I’m sorry Y/N. I guess I have been ignoring you, come on, we can continue playing Monopoly.”

“Good, I was winning anyway.”

Jungkook- Happy Pill

"Kookie?" You called him when you heard the door open. You waited for Jungkook to hug you and pepper your face with kisses like he used to do. 5 minutes passed and no Jungkook came for you.

You turned the stove off and set the plates on the table before you made your way on the living room. Jungkook is on the couch, chest buried on the mattress. His face is tilted on the side while he scrolled on his phone, barely noticing you.

"Jungkook?" You sat beside him. He gave you a tired smile before adjusting so that his head is now on your lap. Something's wrong with him, you're sure of that.

"How's your day?" You asked him, fingers massaging his scalp. He shrugged before closing his eyes. You know that he loves it when you do that.

"Do you want me to run you a bath?" You whispered while kissing his temples. He smiled because of the idea.

"Take a bath with me?" He playfully asked, cheeky smile is plastered all over his face.

"Fine." You smacked his arm before he held your hand and went straight to the bathroom.

Your bath time with Jungkook is always sweet and cuddly. You both stayed on the bath tub for almost an hour. Jungkook was hugging you from the back. Your back is buried on his warm and toned chest. He's playing with you at first, blowing bubbles on your face and smothering your body with soap suds but he soon fell asleep on your shoulders. You had ordered pizza, chicken and beer from Jungkook's favorite restaurant for dinner. You also prepared your boyfriend's favorite game on his PS4. You even chose some thriller and chick flicks that you can both watch once he gets tired of playing.

"Jagi." Jungkook's standing in front of you, eyes are wide as ever as he stared at all the things you had prepared for him. Small drops of water are falling from his hair down to his white shirt. You can't help but gulp as you stared at him. He's so perfect. He shyly rubbed the back of his neck as he looked at you.

His heart's slowly getting warm because of how sweet you are. You never fail to make him fall for you each day. You've always been there for him, to always cheer him up whenever he's down, and to celebrate with him whenever he achieves something. He's not always vocal of his feelings but you can feel how much he loves you. He sat beside you, quickly leaving a kiss on your lips before setting the blankets and pillows on your fortress.

"I love you." He whispered before placing his arms around your waist and pulling you closer to him.

"I love you too, Jeon." His giggles filled your ears and made you smile. You snatched the towel on the couch and dried his hair. His face is buried on your collarbones, kissing and nibbling on the soft skin. You both played Jungkook's game for hours. He would playfully kiss your lips everytime he wins the game and you would tickle the back of his neck each time he loses.

"I messed up with the dance practice again, Y/N." You immediately turned to him when he said that. His eyes are still fixed on the chick flick playing on the tv. He's biting his lower lip and his eyes are quivering as he tried to stop himself from breaking. This was what's bothering him for almost a week now.

"They said that I'm just playing and I'm being a bratty shit again." He lowered his head and as soon as you hugged him, you already felt his shoulders shaking, his silent sobs started to fill the room.

"I'm really trying my best but people always say that I should just leave the group. Am I just really a burden to my hyungs, jagi?" One of your hands rubbed his back while the other smoothed his hair. You found yourself silently crying while you tried to comfort him. You hate it when Jungkook's unsure of himself. He's the best person in the world and you can't understand why some people choose to hate him. Jungkook's always trying his best for the group. He's practicing for hours just to perfect their choreography. Both you and the boys know how perfect Jungkook is and it breaks your heart watching him like this. You told him how awesome he is and that the boys and all the ARMYs around the world love him. You thought that he's already okay because he cuddled you to sleep that night but you were wrong.

It's almost 2am when you woke up. You're already in the bed but not a trace of your boyfriend can be found in the bed. Jungkook must've carried you when you fell asleep on his arms last night. You heard the shower from the bathroom. Why is he taking a bath at this time? He's not the type to shower at night. You know how much he prefers cuddling with you all night.

"Jung-" You stopped yourself from knocking on the bathroom door when you heard the faint sobs drowned by the sound of the shower. You leaned on the door as you listened to him, tears started to flow from your eyes. He's still thinking about it. Your strong Jungkook is crying right now because of some stupid comment that a hater left for him. You stayed there, silently crying with him. You have been with Jungkook for almost 4 years and you already learned that he sometimes like the idea of being just by himself, just to cry alone or work alone or play alone. You wanted to respect that part of him that's why you decided not to knock on the door. That's why you decided to pretend that you're still sleeping when he climbed back to bed after almost half an hour of crying in the bathroom. He hugged you tightly and kissed your forehead as if nothing had happened.

Jungkook was off to the studio the next day. He left in the early morning, leaving a note beside your breakfast that he had prepared for you, saying that he needs to practice a lot for their choreography. You're done giving him time for him to be alone. He'll have you now no matter what happens. You can't let him suffer alone. God! He's too good for the world to be suffering alone. You went for the mailbox, tons of letters from the fans are sent for Jungkook again. You gathered all of them and placed them on the dining table. You even got the older letters from the fans that Jungkook had all kept in his drawer. Jin texted you that they'll kick Jungkook out of the studio early today because he's practicing like crazy. They are all worried about him too. You printed screenshots of tweets and messages coming from the ARMYs saying how much they love Jeon Jungkook. You had barely finished decorating the chocolate cake you had baked when you heard the door open.

Jungkook was surprised when he saw the living room decorated with pictures of him with the ARMYs. Some are from their concerts and the others are during fan meetings. Screenshots of tweets saying how much the fans love him are also decorated on the living room. His smile grew even wider when he saw the picture of him with the boys and another picture with you, that was during your 1st anniversary, the first time he had realized that he wants to be with you forever.

"Babe." He shyly smiled when he saw you walking towards him, a chocolate cake on your hands with the words, You're always the best, Kookie.

"You don't have to do this. Thank you very much, baby." He said while caressing your cheeks. His heart's fluttering like crazy right now. He can't even figure out what he did to have such an amazing girl like you. You always bring the best out of him. You always make him feel better. You're his forever happy pill.

"I still have something for you." You let him sit on the couch before handing him the letters from the fans. He's crying as he read all of them one by one. You can't help but cry with him too.

"You are loved by a lot of people, Kookie. They all love you so much." You looked into his eyes as you caressed his cheeks. He's the golden maknae and people had been used to seeing him as a strong and cheeky Jeon Jungkook but you know that he's fragile inside. He's still your precious Jeon Jungkook no matter how much he had grown.

"And I love you so much, Jungkook. You're not a burden to anyone. I'm sure Jimin and Hobi's more than willing to help you with the choreo. Jin will definitely tease you but Nams will always have your back, right?" He giggled as he pictured the scene in his head. You automatically smiled when you saw him smile again. You'll give up anything in the world just to see Jungkook smile again.

"Thank you, jagi." He softly said before kissing you, tears are continuously falling from his eyes. He feels better now. You were right. Some people hating him doesn't even change the fact that he had inspired a lot of people out there and that he's loved by them. His hyungs love him so much and you're here with him. That is what's more important to him right now.

"You're such a cry baby, Jeon Jungkook. Why am I so in love with you?" You teased him. His cheeks turned bright red because of your sudden confession. It's still funny how much effect you have on him after 4 years of being with him.

"I love you too, babe." He giggled before kissing you once again.

"What do you want to do now? Ice cream? Drink soju with me or karaoke room?" You asked, knowing that it would make him feel much better. He held your hands and kissed your knuckles. You chuckled because of what he had done.

"Everything, babe. I want to do all of it with you. Let's go." You just nodded while inching yourself closer to his warm body. There's nothing more perfect than seeing Jungkook smile again.

BTS Fic Recommendations

There seems to be a weird divide in this fandom between reader x member and member x member stories, but I’m just here in the middle like “all Bangtan smut is good smut!” A good story is a good story and good writing is good writing. Some of these have no smut at all and some are so filthy that I can’t believe I’m recommending them, but, you know, BTS ruined my life and I have no shame anymore. 

I’ve probably read hundreds of BTS stories by now and these are the ones that I go back to over and over. I tried to pick only one per author, but all of these authors are amazing and you should go check out their whole masterlists. These are the authors that I personally fangirl over and stand in awe of. None of these are particularly similar to mine (eg. they are way better) and none of them are particular similar to each other. These are the fics that, for whatever reason, I couldn’t forget about after I read them.

Warning: Some of these are very explicit, so use caution. Anything marked with an M is definitely NSFW.

same damn hunger (M) by marienadine - Yoongi X Hoseok - I am weak for Yoonseok and this fic does an amazing job capturing the push and pull of their relationship. I think this might be my favorite fictional Yoongi I’ve yet read, striving so hard to be tough, but secretly and vulnerable softie. 

Dig Deep (M) by @johobi - Yoongi X Reader - Tentacle kink is not in my usual list of things I am interested in, but this was so enjoyable and weird and sexy and compelling that I actually sat in my car for 15 minutes not driving anywhere just so I could finish it. I love the level of world building in this tentacle porn. There are real characters and backstory and whole alien species with foreign biology. It is awesome. And the ending is so surprisingly sweet. I love how Jo kept all the things that can be sexy about this genre but made it all consensual and fun.

Completed Stories

All of these are stories that I’ve read more than once, and I am sad every time they are over. 

Transference (M) by @jeonjagiya - Hoseok x Reader - There is not enough Hoseok fiction in the world, but this story’s tantric therapist Hoseok goes a long way to making up for that. Probably my personal favorite male lead in a reader-insert story. Such an incredibly sexy story that feels real. I am madly in love with Iris and have read all of her stories more than once. Her sub!Jungkook story almost killed me.

In the Twilight Air (M) by @trilluvium - Yoongi x Jimin - Yoongi and Jimin are dorky best friends who lose their virginity together.  I don't think I've ever read a one-shot that made me feel so many emotions! It was so cute and sweet and felt authentic to what a good first time would actually be like. Originally this was a one-shot but Trill has expanded it and I am loving every new chapter. I have read Trilluvium’s whole masterlist and am in love with everything she’s ever written.

Good Boys Like Bad Girls (M) by @wildernessuntothemselves - Reader x Taehyung - I read this story and was hesitant to recommend it for a long time because it is so incredibly intense. All the characters are terrible people and the smut is both exceedingly hot and exceedingly disturbing. I cannot stop thinking about this story. It remains one of the stories that has stuck with me the longest after reading it. I care about all of its messed-up characters so much and the ending is devastating in such a perversely satisfying way. But seriously, don’t read this if you want all of your protagonists to be good people and do good things. This is not that story. I admire Moe so much for how unique and unapologetic her ideas are and have enjoyed a lot of her other writings as well, even if they all unsettle me in different ways.

Jasmine (M) by @btssmutgalore - Reader x Jungkook - Jungkook x noona is my favorite thing ever and he’s so well-captured here: nervous, but sexy at the same time. I’m also a huge fan of Business which is a very very sexy threesome with dom!Tae and sub!Jungkook. 

Playing to Win (M) by @tayegi​ - Taehyung x Jungkook x Reader - I am such a sucker for Taekook threesomes, but I particularly love this one because of “I hate you but you’re so sexy” thing going on with the reader and Jungkook. I haven’t a chance to read all of Lu’s astoundingly large masterlist but some of my other favorites of hers are her new MadScientist!Tae story, her Jungkook wolf stories, and this awesome fuck-or-die Jungkook story. Lu has an amazing ability to come up with such clever and unique fic ideas and all her stories are hilarious in addition to sexy.

Milage May Vary (M) by @crossfilth - Taehyung x Jungkook - Rix is the reason Taekook is my OTP (I have two OTPs and two biases, can’t help it). I love every single one of her stories. They are so incredibly sexy, but also so full of real emotion and great dialogue. This is Rix’s longest work so far and it is phenomenal, really sexy, but also really interesting character development and compelling love story. Her entire masterlist is amazing. 

Love at First Touch by @bagelswrites - Jimin x OC - I am such trash for soulmate AUs and this is my all-time favorite. The OC is so well-realized with her own flaws and struggles and you really feel for her throughout the story. This also has my absolute favorite fictional depiction of Jimin. I personally find Jimin very hard to write and he is so often written out-of-character, but this story really nails his signature blend of insecure, vulnerable manliness. The author did so much research to make sure this story lined up with BTS’s actual timeline in real life. Bagels is my hero. 

Thursdays are for… (M) by Arguileless - Taehyung x Reader x Jungkook - My favorite story in the “dating one member but really want to fuck a different member” genre. It’s all smut, but manages to reach 17,000 words. This version of Taehyung who is wildly adventurous and dominant is incredibly sexy. This story started my Taehyung as bias-wrecker problem.

tear the moon from the stars tonight (M) by euphoriae - Yoongi x Jimin - Historical AU with so much real research behind it, I’m blown away. At first, the “jimin is a slave” premise sounds ridiculous, but the rich context, attention to detail and world-building quickly make you forget about it.  I learned a surprising amount of Korean history because of this story, and the love story here is beautiful. One of the very first fan-fictions I read and it showed me how literary fan-fiction could be. 

Inc. (M) by @park-loins - Seokjin x Yoongi - BTS meets The Office. Had me cackling over and over, but also desperately rooting for the love story. Can’t believe this is the same author that also wrote the heart-breakingly beautiful Reprise.

you have 1 new message by bazooka - Namjoon x Jin - I think everyone in this fandom has already read this story, but on the off chance you haven’t, you should. It’s starts as totally hysterical and then becomes amazingly sweet. 

Love is not possession (M) by kuragecharms - Jungkook x Jin - More A/B/O because I am trash. I really love all of kuragecharms’ wolf stories. This author was also the first to sell me on Jin x Jungkook as a ship and now I’m a big fan.

Bloody paws in the snow (M) by pandorasumbrella - Yoongi x Hoseok - My all-time favorite A/B/O story. Does such a great job building an incredibly detailed world. This is the first work in an elaborate trilogy that is so beautiful it breaks your heart. 

Nirvana (M) by syubology - Jimin x Hoseok - Jimin and Hoseok struggle with their feelings for each other. One of the first fics I ever really loved. This story does a terrific job of depicting BTS as BTS and the possible ramifications of a relationship within that dynamic.

For where there’s sun you’ll find a moon by @bulletproof-dork-boys - Yoongi x Taehyung - I am huge a greek mythology nerd and I am super excited to see where this Taehyung as Hades, Yoongi as Persephone story goes.

SAVE ME (M) by agnes_viviane - Jungkook x OC - Adorably awkward OC befriends Jungkook on accident, then falls in love with him. Makes me cackle with glee and second-hand embarrassment every time I read it. Full of all my favorite things: awkwardness, angst and Jungkook. Agnes is the sweetest and taught me a lot of important things about the correct ways to address people in Korean and how to properly use Korean in my stories.

Touch Me, Touch You (M) by @deathbyyoongi​ - Yoongi x Reader x Hoseok - Yoongi + Hoseok + smut + angst + mild D/S… it is all the things I am weak for in one story.

The Fitting (M) by @noona-la-la-la​ - Jungkook x Reader - Noona-la-la-la writes really excellent, realistic but still super sexy smut and all of her reader inserts are adult women, often older than the boys. I also really really enjoyed Unexpected which is Yoongi smut and Conditioned featuring sub!Taehyung.

Grey Area (M) by @blushoseoks - Yoongi x Reader x Jimin? - Soulmate AU where everything is more complicated than it should be and so wonderfully angsty. Such an interesting take on the Soulmate AU.

The Purge by @jungblue - Hoseok x Reader - I just found jungblue and everything I’ve read from them so far is phenomenal! I love this fic in particular because it is such a different idea than anything I’ve seen before and stars Hobi!

The Unwanted Alpha (M) - by RedPantherVitality8 - Jungkook x Reader - Combines A/B/O with noona x Jungkook angst. No faster way to my heart.

Leave your mark (M) by @inarsics - Jungkook x Jimin - A/B/O is my big weakness/guilty pleasure. I love this story in particular for its interesting take on the genre, where all the alphas have gone extinct. Also, Jimin has a little brother and it’s incredibly sweet and adorable.

i like how desperate you seem (in the way you look at me) (M) by fatal - Jungkook x Jimin - A “classic” of BTS A/B/O subgenre. Super slow-burn that keeps you on the edge of your seat and desperate to know what happens next.  

your taste is so sweet on my lips (M) by @pinktteokie - Hoseok x Taehyung x Yoongi - My favorite polyamorous story. The slow-burn is so good and the way the relationship moves from a relationship between two people to a relationship between three people is fascinating.

read between the (panty) lines (M) by @lunaticmyngi - Yoongi x Jimin x Jungkook - I fangirl so hard about everything from TheHalesNyx. How she manages to write so many different requests and have them all be so well-done, I have no idea. This prompt started off so filthy, and became such an intensely emotional story. You feel so much sympathy and angst for all three members in this story. Her entire masterlist is amazing.
