his name is koa iwasaki (he/it), and his hero name is the tarantula

here’s sone general info abt it

- his suit is based off of a cobalt blue tarantula

- it’s suit has little hairs that are soft to the touch as long as they’re flat. he makes them stick out when he feels threatened or when his spidey senses go off, and that’s when they create this hook at the ends of each hair that hurts like a motherfucker if it hooks to human skin

- it has retractable fangs with venom sacs. the fangs just kinda soak in the venom sacs when they’re sheathed

- CLAWS!!! he has claws. his fingers r just naturally sharper than the average human’s (mutation that happened after the bite)

- the silk it produces (natural, like tobey!peter) is THICK. and mainly used as protective shielding, since tarantulas don’t make web nests, plus it can make use out of its hairs, fangs, and claws, it uses it to protect itself, but still swings around and shit

- he’s an animal right’s activist, boy goes to rallies whenever he can

- he’s a buddhist, but doesn’t actively go out of his way to do buddhist practices

- it has it’s own… special kind of mary jane. if you know what i mean. (he smokes weed. that za za.) tries to keep it on the down low though because it can’t be a role model and also have everyone know that it smokes weed at the same time LMAOO (me: he keeps it on the down low. also me: draws a picture of him wearing a shirt that says he’s high)

- older sister who raised him becomes norman osborne’s successor after he dies, since harry doesn’t exist in this universe, her name becomes lady goblin, koa eventually kills her

Rating Nora’s names

I’m bored so I’m gonna rate all of Nora’s names. I’m only rating these based off of my own opinions on them. I’m not a name specialist so don’t take these ratings seriously lol. I’ve posted this on instagram before so if this seems very familiar to you that’s why. 

Nora

First name up is Nora. It means “stray” as you all already know. I liked the name Nora before I knew about Noragami but this is my least favorite name of Nora’s. She doesn’t like being called it and it’s like a derogatory term in the Noragami world. I often feel bad for calling her this so I try to use Mizuchi or Hiiro but I sometimes confuse myself by doing that. Now I just try to call her babygirl. I have another grievance with this name but I’ll rant about that another time.

2/10 for Nora 

Hiiro

Next up is Hiiro, babygirl’s second name. I love this name! It means “scarlet” which fits babygirl in a metaphorical sense. I think this name is very cute and it suits her well. I headcanon that this was her favorite name. Hiiro reminds me of when Yato and babygirl used to be close. It also reminds me of that Vivienne Westwood lotus flower necklace which is totally random lol. The only problem is that Hiiro isn’t babygirl’s name anymore. I can’t be the only one missing the days when she was still Hiiro :(

Tsutsumi

Next is Tsutsumi. It means “gun barrel” which I think is pretty cool. I used to like this name but now I dislike it. Idk why it just sounds incomplete to me. I feel like there is a part of this name that is missing. No offense to anyone named Tsutsumi. I don’t think this name suits babygirl well either. However. I like the meaning of this name and how babygirl becomes a gun with it.

-bonus point because Ebisu named her this and I love Ebisu

4.5/10 for Tsutsumi

Mizuchi

Next is babygirl’s very first name. Mizuchi is the name of a Japanese mythological water creature which is what babygirl’s true form is. I love this name too. It reminds me of beans and chips. It strangely also reminds me of baby bottles and baby powder? I’m always getting reminded of the most random things. I think this name fits babygirl perfectly. I loved it when she went into her true form. In Japanese mythology, mizuchis are supposed to be like dragons or serpentine creatures but Yato says that babygirl is like a fish in her true form so I just call it mermaid!Mizuchi. I can’t believe babygirl is ashamed of her true form like mermaid!Mizuchi is the best the thing ever! We need to create monuments for mermaid!Mizuchi.

Furuhime

I know this name is anime only but I’m adding it in anyways. It means “zero”. Maybe Rabo named her this because he has zero fans. Just kidding lol. So I like this name but I don’t like it for babygirl. I don’t think it suits her. This name seems like a name for someone with a personality like Hiyori’s. Definitely not someone like babygirl imo. I think this name sounds cool though. The way it sounds reminds me of fluffy sheets and fragrant laundry detergent. 

6/10 for Furuhime

Eyami

Last but certainly not least is Eyami! The name given to her by Takemikazuchi. It means “plague”. I hated this name at first because it reminded me of eggs but dang has it grown on me. It’s my favorite name of babygirl’s now. I think this name fits her perfectly. It reminds me of rlly cute pleated denim skirts and mary jane shoes. No joke, I love this name more than myself and I really want babygirl to keep it. I know Takemikazuchi wants to release her but I’m praying he doesn’t. I feel like starting a petition for Take to not release her lmao.

can i just say how glad i am that they didnt call her jane this season like el was the name given to her by her first real friends/family (and it also just rlly suits her) i liked that she kept it despite jane being her legal name
