ok well. i think the ending of the nge series is very neat Conceptually but goddamn the execution felt like a huge waste of time
#episodes that are nothing.#like. i get it. i understand what they were Doing with that ending and why they showed all the stuff they did.#they didn't need to take 40 minutes to do it tho#i see now. why people would have been mad about this#im not mad exactly for that reason im just like. we knew all this already#we spent an entire episode going over character flaws we had already spent TWENTY PREVIOUS EPISODES exploring#but also yeah i did want a better wrap-up on the lore too ghsdjhf#anyway yay for the movie existing#in other news im a katsuragi apologist now but i'll get to that later#bweeeaaahh
