Oh yeah I watched the II remaster and I don’t mind it at all it’s pretty good LOLLL. I just have three prayers. Keep everyone mean as fuck. Keep Balloon’s manipulation so bad that it’s genuinely ridiculous how petty these freaks are. And please bring more of Salt and Pepper’s homoerotic codependent friendship I missed them so bad

has anyone else noticed that the youtube app puts you in the shorts tab by default now

edit, hey look. i got an example of both in one go. ignore my strange video preferences /silly

i closed it on the home tab, opened it again, and there i am in shorts. but it doesnt give me a short to watch, no, heres a normal video. just put it on my home page!! just put it there!!

and also theres seemingly no way to click out of the shorts ui version of the video and switch it to the regular one, no, you have to go find the video manually to do that. why?? whats the point of this?

One of my least favourite Tsumugi misconceptions is that he's useless at being an idol. He's very good actually! It's pointed out multiple times in various stories by characters who are considered the top tier idols that Tsumugi is very good at his job, he's just also awkward and a bit clumsy off stage.

yea ! alot of misconceptions tend to stem from people getting a taste of the character in a certain context and then assume theyd be the same in different contexts when thats rarely the case. like just look at tsumugis romancing cruise performance That shit changed me forever

i do understand why this happens though, or why small misconceptions are rather frequent and inadvertently lead to mischaracterizations at times. often times we just take a surface level view at things and, naturally, observe what it is we see and compare it to things we already know. like i said in my last post tsumugi is bashful, not shy, but if people only see his more awkward demeanor around certain people theyre obviously going to assume thats the characteristic he has because thats what most of us are familiar with

i dont want people to feel insecure in their portrayals though !! q__q and youre free to be as self-indulgent as you want when u create ur little crafts as im sure many of us are using these characters as a means of our own self-expression. god knows i do it! but is it also not just as fun to truly dig into the character and to try figuring them out from an unbiased perspective ? again its why i dont want to put them into boxes!!! theres so much to them and by only focusing on one or two of their characteristics you are doing them a disservice!! youre free to exclusively PORTRAY your favorite aspects ofc, create for you and not for others! but i just want their complexities to be acknowledged and recognized 💔💔 though thats just one of my selfish little desires

#its esp difficult because sometimes the misconception will be a Veeery minor thing #so it makes it hard to pinpoint #or put into words why it feels Off #but all of this is also subjective and just because i personally feel the portrayal is inaccurate doesnt mean it objectively is #and maybe these people arent even aiming for an accurate portrayal!! sometimes they just wanna have fun and we should let them!!!#sometimes it is also good to recognize that some portrayals just arent for us #and to move on and find a space where you feel people get the character the same way you do #though thats easier said than done ive blocked like the entirety of enstars twt bc of this lol ASKJFAHSDKJG #it does suck a bit when u feel ppl dont get the character like u do but oh well........ create the content u wish to see in this world ig #ask

guys inanimate insanity is updating again and i kinda dgaf because the hyperfixation died years ago but i just got spoiled (??? i think) for something and ngl its making me kinda intruiged.........these days ive moved on to other things and grown up (which is ironic considering i got into II when i was a little bit over the target age in the first place) but like. should i finish it just to finish it since season 2 is finally wrapping up or nah since idk if i feel like going back to it rn

best day of my life was when vimms lair let other regional versions of games be on the site u have no idea how happy i was. like yes finally i dont have to send people digging through a huge archive.org dump of DS games so they can play professor layton & not suffer thru lukes american dub voice 😭

#like me personally i dont care if i have to jump through hoops to download something so that wasnt even an inconvenience for me #if anything i loooove having to work harder to find a download for something it feels more rewarding <- has 2 much free time 2 spend online #but sadly the average person does not enjoy internet sleuthing or file conversion or downloading & installing torrent progeams or whatever #like they just want a ddl. which is absolutely fair like me too for a lotta stuff! but that means theyd go to vimms lair to download it #& just download the NA release 😔 like i think 99% of people do not care about this but i need you to go look up a comparison #of luke triton's NA english dub vs. his EU english dub. if you played the american ones just think about how he sounds in the movie #but like oh my god. im so grateful i lived in england when i got into layton cause that meant it was way easier to get UK copies of thegames #like i ended up getting a european 3ds while i lived there to play the 3ds games & it was so worth it. i Dont like american dub luke triton #HES NOT EVEN AMERICAN IN THE DUB he just has a fake british accent and it does Not sound good especially when i heard the (superior) dub 1st #like i need to stress the american dub isnt even that bad. its not speedwagon dub bad.#<- my mom compared speedys voice to dick van dyke in mary poppins which is honestly an insult to dick van dyke in mary poppins #like its objectively a terrible accent. but he makes it work. The jojos part 1 dub cast for 99% of the time... does not. 😭#ITS NOT EVEN BAD ACTING ITS THE ACCENTS. THEYRE AWFUL. i need you to know jonathan's VA also voices nero dmc and adachi persona4. like #hes obviously a talented voice actor!!!! Since I’m planning on just going wild on my Steve Henderson AU for the foreseeable future and I’m doing a lot of jumping around in it, I figured i’d list different chapters I’m working on as the wips (I also just really wanted to share chapter titles early because i put a lot of effort into making these meme references relevant and i think theyre funny) So in no particular order but definitely chronological because this is just chapters 3-6.5:

1. Get yo fucking dog, bitch (It don’t bite) (YES IT DO)

2. What the fuck kinda dog is that? (Bitch an interdimensional dog)

3. “Lab Work Ahead?” Uh, yeah, I sure hope it does

They pulled up to Steve’s again, this time into Steve’s garage connected to the front of the house. Steve hopped out, running over to unlock the door and crack it open. Dustin was still in his seat, looking around the room. Impressed with the house: a reaction that King Steve usually found validating but now made Just Steve uneasy.

Steve went over and knocked on his window before crossing back to the other side and opening the backseat door. Dustin turned around.

“You have your own garage?”

He nodded, putting two bags in one arm and grabbing a third.

“C’mon, are we in a rush or not?” he joked. Dustin climbed out, still distracted.

Steve pushed through the door, catching it with his foot before it could bump into the wall and waited for Dustin who was balancing three bags of his own.

They turned the corner and he set the bags on the kitchen island, Dustin still absently taking everything in. It took a few trips, but eventually they got all the meat on the counter, leaving the pasta and dry groceries in the car to save time.

“Alright, you start unloading stuff and I’ll find us some buckets or something.” he said, setting the last bag down and heading back to his garage, “And do not touch the knives until I’m back.”

“Dude, I’m twelve, I can hold a knife.”

“Just don't start without me, okay?"

"Five minutes and then I'm raiding your knife block."
