the fact that i would've actually loved cat noir if he just didn't try to flirt with ladybug and just did his own thing. if he was just a stinky ratbag boy goofing off being a jokster and not trying to be a tryhard swuave nice guy for a girl who clearly doesn't like him back

fma au chloix? Ur hcs about them are always great no matter what au
Skdidbdnsbdb
Cap and I have had many a conversation about this cause I can't shut up about this au or about them
Combing the two has made me into a monster
So, I present, as much as I can remember and be bothered to type out about them. Enjoy
Stuff to sum up what should be known: Alix is the mechanic slash automail engineer for Juleka, but she has a capacity to use alchemy and she's the only one that knows she's the last living person to know the secrets of flame alchemy. Chloe is the commander of the northern base, Fort Briggs, transferred after her mother had a huge scandal
So at one point Luka and Juleka need to head up north, and Juleka's arm and leg freeze up, and they need to call Alix up to fix it. When she arrives up North she had a drink on the train, and at first sight she's just, in Love with Chloe. She had a bunch of flowers she bought from tipsyness and there's way too much, and she bought them as "get well soon" flowers to mock Juleka but thats out the window
Chloe: hello, Mechanic, Guardian, and, Guest. Welcome to Fort Briggs. I am Major General Bourgeois, and I will be escorting you-
Alix: HEEEEY YOURE PRETTY, I GOTCHU SOME FLOWERS~
Chloe: i- I'm sorry, is she drunk??
Nathaniel: honestly I have no idea
The answer btw is no, she's not drunk, just acting drunk in case her flirting isn't well received. But, it very much is. Chloe is very intruiged, finds this actually charming. She is also basically in love at first sight
Chloe: oh noo we didn't anticipate these two random men we only have one spare room, oh where will Alix stay-
Juleka: she can share with me
Alix: *glaring and hissing* DONT. RUIN. THIS. FOR. ME.
Juleka: ...nevermind
Chloe: okay, well- ahem, I suppose I can set you up on my office couch
Well. Alix doesn't end up on the couch. I'll assume y'all can figure out where she ends up sleeping but just know. PG-13.
Plot shit happens, Alix stays in the Fort Longer. Everyone who lives there full time is weirded out cause like. Their cold, mean-affectionate leader is like a lovesick puppy suddenly, but only around or towards this snarky, little mechanic
Alix does have to go back to her apprenticeship eventually, so they do spend 6 months apart. They do mail each other letters. Chloe sends Alix scrap metal to make shit with, Alix has flowers sent up north since they tend to die. Oh, and the overly cheesy, grossly romantic letters
They don't meet up again until the final fight segment. So uh. Trying to keep away from too many spoilers for FMA, won't do those unless y'all ask and then I'd give a warning. But there is a big climax fight
So by this point the cat is out of the bag, Alix has shown she can use flame alchemy but she really doesn't do it often cause her mom wouldn't want her to use it violently
But she gotta cause big climax fight. Long story short she ends up super injuring her hand before she meets up with Chloe and they have a moment
Chloe: h-hey! You're here! I missed- oh, darling, what happened to your hand?
Alix: ah, I'm okay, love, I promise. Just, my little sacrifice for the greater good,
And Chloe takes her injured hand and kisses it all sweet,
Felix: what the fuck gross
Fight happens, fight ends, and epilogue. Chloe gets transferred back to the main city where Alix lives, and they move in together over Alix's new automail shop. They ask their friends to help them move in, all without telling them they got married.
Cause they got married
Alix made their rings herself, smelted them with her own flames to honour her mother and all that. Her dad who is alive and shit and back, he signs off on the marriage and that's that they're gross and domestic and in love forever
I hope this is what you were looking for and if not, let me know so I can talk about them even more

Halloween is always fun with your friend group. I mean, it's fun anyway - lots of cheap candy, neighbourhood celebrations, an excuse to get way too drunk - it's just a lot more fun with eight other crackheads.
You guys have a sort of tradition going by now, even though each year is a bit different. Hyunjin throws the party, Minho brings the alcohol and hides it from Chan until it's too late to stop everyone from getting shitfaced, Jeongin and Felix bring ungodly amounts of candy, and Jisung is a skeleton (literally every single year - it started when you called Tate Langdon's skeleton makeup hot, and it never ended).
Everyone (except Jisung) keeps their costume a secret - unless they're Chan and Felix, in which case they do couple costumes and keep it a secret from everyone else. Sometimes you even decide on a theme, like the year before the last, where everyone was supposed to dress as their favourite Pokemon. This inevitably led to intense fighting roleplays to assert dominance as your respective type, and in order to spare your reputation in the neighbourhood, you decided the next theme would be a little less wild.
This year, the theme was 'secret Santa costumes', meaning you each picked a random name from a hat to decide who you would be buying a costume for and a few days before Halloween, you were given your own costume to wear to the party by whoever pulled your name from the hat of destiny.
Technically that's not how secret Santa works, but no one questions Chan when it comes to holiday business.
You just so happened to get Jisung, and while the temptation to keep the skeleton thing going just for the meme was definitely there, you ultimately decided he should be a classic bedsheet ghost - except with no eye or hand holes cut out. You know, to add a little sprinkle of chaos to his already very chaotic life.
The lovely boy who decided your spooky fate was Felix, who had coincidentally been in charge of buying Hyunjin’s costume too - when you asked why, he said it was because the number of people was uneven, so he had kindly volunteered to take on an extra. You had honestly expected him to pick something weird or wild for you, so you were quite surprised by the outfit he had settled on.
"Is this...little red riding hood?" you had asked, eyebrows furrowed in confusion as you stared at the dress and hood in your hands.
"Yep! I saw it the other day and I thought it would be nice to go for one of the classics, you know?" he had explained, smiling as if he was ever so proud about his decision. Something about the hint of mischief in his eyes made you suspicious, but you had let it slide. "You don't mind, right?"
No, you didn't mind. You had given Jisung a ghost costume, so you didn’t really have room to speak on the originality of Felix’s decision. Besides, the dress didn’t look too cheap, nor did it look especially short, and the hood-cape made you feel way too powerful for someone wearing a $20 Target costume.
So you really didn't mind at all, until it came to the day of the party. Now, as you stand in the doorway to Hyunjin’s apartment, you suddenly mind a lot more.
”Lee Felix, I’m going to decorate the lawn with your fucking intestines, oh my god!” you whisper-yell to the boy who conveniently manages to dart away with the excuse of needing to help Jeongin open all the candy bags. Your angry eyes follow his retreating blue form - Chan picked his outfit this year, and of course he decided Felix should be an Among Us character.
Everyone in the group knows about the slight tension (read: obvious beef) between you and Hyunjin. Technically speaking, you’re friends. He invites you to his parties, you hang out with him when he’s with the boys. It’s just that neither of you can stand each other, because you’re both very bold and even more stubborn.
Whenever the two of you are together, you bicker like children and it’s pretty much endless. You could probably throw insults (and the occasional murder threat) at each other all day if the other members didn’t interrupt, and on those days you’d be more than happy to teach Hyunjin a lesson with a nice, strong punch in the nose if the opportunity were ever to present itself.
So, with this in mind, it’s quite clear why you’re planning Felix’s murder when you see Hyunjin walking around as the big, bad wolf.
You’re genuinely considering sneaking out the front door before anyone else sees you and running back to your apartment (because Felix just so happens to be your ride home), but fate decides to mess with you and suddenly, Hyunjin locks eyes with you from across the living room.
The way a huge smile instantly graces his pretty face sends a rush of butterflies, followed by anger, through you as you stare back at him. His clip on wolf ears are admittedly quite cute, but the fake fangs he’s wearing send your thoughts in a very different direction. As he makes his way over, you suddenly wish you had followed Felix to the kitchen - at least they keep the alcohol in there. In his living room, you’ve got no choice but to deal with Hyunjin while sober.
”Well, would you look at that? Seems like I found my little red riding hood.” he teases with a wink, leaning against the wall beside the door.
When you scoff at him, he gives you another big grin and you can’t help but stare at the fangs again. The vibrant blue contact lenses he’s wearing make his gaze feel intense even when he’s smiling, and the way his long, blonde hair falls freely gives him a glow that’s both angelic and positively demonic. He looks so annoyingly handsome, as per usual; if only his personality wasn’t the personification of the words ‘cocky asshole’. You can’t help but think it’s a huge waste of beauty.
“Excuse me-” you begin, ready to start the first round of arguing, but he cuts you off like the annoying brat he is.
“You’re excused,” he says, thinking his comment was very smart, and if it wasn’t a night meant for fun and games, you might’ve killed him on the spot.
“Fine, excuse you. I’m not your little red riding hood. In fact, I’m not your anything, thank you very much,” you snap, brushing past his tall figure as you head to the table the boys have set up to the side. There’s an array of Halloween-themed food, prepared by Chan, and you settle for a red velvet cupcake decorated with black frosting and what you assume are meant to be cat ears poking out of it.
“Right, sure, but we’re still matching tonight. It’s kind of like-”
This time, you cut him off. “It’s not like Chan and Felix. It’s not. We’re not wearing couple costumes, so don’t say it.”
He shuts his mouth (finally) and you take it as your cue to leave before he says something else to piss you off. Unfortunately, he seems to have the desire to ruin your night further and chooses to follow you on your journey.
“So anyway, I guess this was Felix’s plan, right?” He gestures to your costumes. “Unless you had something to do with it, that is.”
You don’t bother to address the second part of what he said and instead just nod, scanning the room for the previously mentioned mastermind. As soon as you can get your hands on that boy, you swear you’ll slaughter him for subjecting you to Hyunjin’s torturous teasing all night.
“He was already on thin ice after trying to tell me Bulbasaur is a better starter than Charmander, but now he’s actually dead to me,” you growl out once you spot him sitting beside Minho, laughing happily with his classic red solo cup and a slice of chocolate cake. Jeongin sits beside them, tearing open bags of candy with no assistance from Felix, because of course he was lying about helping him earlier.
Hyunjin laughs softly and you curse your heart for skipping a beat at the sound. Sometimes it feels like your head hates Hyunjin while your body is stupid enough to like him, and it’s part of the reason why you hate talking to him so much. Every time you stop throwing insults and sass at him and instead sit back and listen to what he has to say, a part of you realises you don’t exactly have a proper reason for disliking him. He’s not all that bad, and sometimes you even find yourself laughing at his jokes and witty remarks.
But you’d really rather not go through the endless cycle of those thoughts right now, especially when the cause of your problems is standing beside you eating a chocolate bar.
“I have to say, though,” you comment as you turn to look him up and down, “the big, bad wolf concept suits you pretty well.”
Before he can accept the compliment, you continue. “You’re both big, hairy beasts who dress like grandmas.”
The obvious offence on his face is so satisfying you almost wanna snap a photo to reflect on this moment in the future, but you refrain from doing so. He would just pose anyway, and the photo would probably end up making your stupid heart flutter again.
“Well, at least you think I’m big. Besides, if dressing like a grandma gets me closer to eating you, then I suppose it’s a sacrifice I’ll have to make,” he whispers in a husky, seductive voice that kind of makes you want to choke-slam him, but you suspect he might enjoy that anyway.
It angers you when he makes flirty comments like that, because as annoying as they are and despite you knowing full well he only says it to get under your skin, it still makes your heart race every time. Maybe in another universe, Hyunjin is a sweet boy who innocently flirts with you and brings you roses instead of a big, bad bitch who’s just acting like a horny teenager. Annoyingly enough though, you think you’d fall for him either way.
You turn away with the intention of finally escaping to the kitchen to grab something to drink, hoping to settle the thoughts dancing around your head, but he reaches for your wrist. The feeling of his fingers pressing warmth into your skin just makes your head spin even more, and you’re so distracted you don’t pull away from him.
"Aw, don’t run away now. Are you scared of me, little red? There’s no need to be, I’m just joking. I won’t bite unless you beg me to."
You pull your arm back as soon as the words leave his mouth. Hyunjin has a lot of things (a severely irritating personality, a stupidly handsome face for such an asshole, a loud voice solely meant for pissing you off on a daily basis, the list goes on), but the thing he definitely has most is the fucking audacity.
However, the most annoying part by far is the way you feel your face heat up when you register the last thing he said. You’d rather die than let him make you flustered, so you shake your head slightly to clear those thoughts from your mind and look him in the eye again.
"Scared? Me?" you scoff, staring him down with a steady glare and if he was anyone else, he'd probably shiver in fear.
Unfortunately, he is not anyone else. He is Hwang Hyunjin, and Hwang Hyunjin does not shiver; he beams with a smug grin and makes your blood boil.
"Mhm. Look at you. You’re basically dressed as my prey tonight, babe." He purrs the pet name like the absolute fuckboy he is. "And sure, the real you is feisty, but you're all bark and no bite."
The overly confident, proud smirk on his face makes him look like a damn peacock flaunting its feathers, and you decide then and there that you'll do anything to get rid of it.
"All bark," you echo his words, walking towards him slowly, "and no bite, huh?"
You swear you see his eyes widen for a split second at your change in demeanor before the stupid smirk returns, and the little rush of victory you feel from catching him off guard is enough to keep you walking forward.
His gaze never leaves yours, especially when you're standing on the tips of your toes in front of him, noses just barely brushing against each other. Your hands grip his shoulder to balance you, and you run a finger over his collarbone up towards his cheek, where you gently cup his face. The small distance between the two of you means you can hear his slightly uneven breathing and see the curiosity swirling in his bright blue eyes as he waits for your next move.
You reach a hand up and thread your fingers through his long, bleach blonde hair, and his breath hitches when you gently tug at it. Even his wolf ears almost seem to droop submissively. He doesn't dare move, but his eyes keep flicking down to your lips and back up again.
"Now, that's just not true at all, is it?" you whisper, tilting your head as if waiting for an answer, but he can't find the words to form a witty response. It’s about time he learned some manners, really, even if he needed your guidance for that.
"I'm warning you now," you continue, "you might wanna watch your tone. I might look like your prey, but I promise I bite harder than you do, babe."
You make sure to emphasise the pet name, purring it in the same way he did minutes before. He bites down on his bottom lip, and the way his fangs press into them makes you lick your own lips nervously. It seems as though he can't take the tension anymore, because he goes to lean in and finally close the distance between the two of you as his hands find your hips.
Of course, you'd never let him have that control, especially after his bold attitude from earlier. Even though the temptation to lean in is certainly there, you step away from him and smile sweetly.
"Learned your lesson yet, puppy?"
He doesn’t respond for a moment, clearly still taking in what just happened. When he registers your question, he tilts his head to the side as if in thought - the way a dog might, funnily enough - before he hums quietly.
“I’m not sure. Maybe you should teach me once more, little red,” he suggests, voice low and slightly breathless, “but preferably a bit more in depth this time.”

Oh my goodness I'm gushing over the male!reader X Linhardt scenario you wrote! It's so cute! But what if Mr. Coolest of Garreg Mach showed Sylvain the ways of being cool? 👀
It seems the Mr. Coolest of Garreg Mach saga continues!
Companion piece to [this]
~
“Alright, Sylvain. I’m not going to go easy on you,” you warn. Sylvain just nods his head.
“I’m ready, (Name).”
“Okay, lesson one is the hardest, Sylvain, are you absolutely sure?”
“Yes, I’m sure!”
“Can you get on with it? (Name) says I can’t sleep until you complete all three lessons,” Linhardt yawns.
“Come on! Hit me already, (Name)!”
Lesson One
“You have to go three hours without flirting with anyone.”
“...”
“...”
“...”
“I’m sorry, what?”
“Time starts...” You gesture towards Linhardt. He clicks a pocket watch.
“Now,” he finishes. You loop your arm in Linhardt’s and you two walk off together.
“Wait, you can’t just leave me here!” Sylvain panics.
“You’ll be fine! And don’t think we’re not watching, we have spies everywhere,” you say, entering the dining hall. “Good luck Sylvain!”
He’s really doing this. Wow, he’s really working on becoming as cool as Mr. Coolest in Garreg Mach. Okay, he can do this. No flirting. Easy.
“Hey, Sylvain!” A rather cute student waved to him.
“H-” He felt a sudden chill. Someone was watching him. He looked around the courtyard, who was it? Who was the spy? Who was reporting to you as he was freaking out? Okay, just two hours, fifty-eight minutes, and twenty-three seconds left.
He’ll survive.
It was Caspar, by the way.
Lesson Two
You and Linhardt find Sylvain collapsed in front of the altar in the Cathedral.
“So he can nap and I can’t?”
“He’s not napping, he’s praying,” you snicker. You nudge him with your shoe gently. “Hey, Sylvain, you made it. Three hours are up, buddy.”
“I did?” His voice sounded hoarse.
“Yeah, come on, it’s time for lesson two.” Sylvain jumped up with a new found vigor and looked at you intensely.
“I’m ready.”
“You sure? Looks like lesson one really took its toll on you,” you worry.
“I’m fine. I can handle it.”
“He’s really persistent,” Linhardt frowns. “Don’t be too hard on him.”
“Don’t worry, I’m going way easy on him,” you whisper. “Okay, Sylvain. Lesson two. We’re in the chapel already, so this makes things so much easier.”
“What do you mean...?”
“Well, just outside this area happens to be the largest population of the Monastery’s resident cats, right? Well, I need you to bring twenty of them to me.”
“How does this make me cooler?”
“Well, I mean,” you whistle and twenty cats flooded to you. “It works for me.” In another whistle the cats scattered.
“What the hell...”
“See you in a bit, Sylvain,” you wave him off, finally giving in to Linhardt’s pulling.
“Wait, shouldn’t you be here so I know where you are?”
“Looks like you’re just going to have to find me,” you shrug. Sylvain frantically called for you even as you exited the grand doors.
“You know, you could’ve just told him that we’re going to wait outside.”
“Nah, he’s smart, he’ll figure that out.”
~
“Hello, Mr. Cat,” Sylvain slowly walks up to a tabby cat, prepared to grab him. The cat looks over its shoulder lazily. Intrigued by what the hell this kid wanted with it. He moved closer to Sylvain. “That’s it, just come closer, little buddy.” Once he was in an arms reach, Sylvain grabbed him.
“ONE DOWN NINETEEN TO GO!” He ran around collecting cats, not even caring about the amount of scratches and scars he was receiving.
“That’s no way to make friends with the cats...” Ashe frowns. “I really hope (Name) knows what he’s doing.” He worriedly watches Sylvain pick up another cat and sighs. He really only agreed to do this because he was worried about what Sylvain would do. Now, his friend just looks... sad. He’s never this persistent when he’s trying to charm the other school girls.
Finally, Sylvain had twenty cats under his arms when he made a mad dash to find you and get away from this hell. What he didn’t notice, however, is that he ran right past you and across the bridge.
“Should we... should we tell him?” Linhardt asks.
“No. He’ll be back.”
“That’s cruel...”
“He’s the one who wanted to be cool, right?”
Final Lesson
Sylvain stumble up the steps of the Cathedral and found you sitting on the ground next to Linhardt. Your boyfriend was snoozing away peacefully with his head on your shoulder and you were writing down notes on a piece of parchment. Sylvain dumped the cats in front of you, each of the mewling angrily.
“Here... Here are your damn cats...” He huffs. You whistle and the cats sit next to you.
“You turned up better than I was expecting, Sylvain,” you laugh. You watched the sun begin to set behind him while you nudge Linhardt softly and he opens his eyes lazily and sits up. “One last lesson, Sylvain. It’s not too late to opt out, you know.”
“Are you kidding me? I’m covered in claw marks. It looks like I’m having an affair. I have nothing left to lose.”
“Alright, then, follow me.” The three of you walk for a short moment before ending up at the arena of the final battle, so to say.
“The Library?” Sylvain cocks his head.
“During your first lesson, Lin and I came up here and marked the insides of certain books with a star sticker, luckily, we just placed them in the front covers.
“That was my idea, if I didn’t say anything you would’ve had to dig through all of the books,” Linhardt adds in.
“Yup. So now your job is to find all of those books, read the star marked passages, and write me a paper telling me what they each had in common to one another. And since this is your final lesson, we decided to make it the hardest.”
“How so?”
“We’re not going to tell you how many books are marked, or how many passages are marked.”
“Goddess please forgive me...”
“You can still opt out, Sylvain.”
“No! I won’t!”
“Okay, all I can say now is good luck then. And don’t worry about what Professor Byleth will think, Lin and I already got that covered.”
“Good night, Sylvain,” Linhardt says. He walks with you out of the library and you shut the doors softly.
“There is a reason behind all of this... right, (Name)?” Linhardt asks,
“Yup. I know I said this is the final lesson, but I’ll quiz him tomorrow on what he thinks the purpose of these lessons were.”
“So you aren’t just making him suffer?”
“Of course not, Sylvain is a good friend of mine, after all.”
“If you say so, (Name).”
~
“Okay... okay I can do this.” Sylvain looks around the library. Then, another knock at the door. It creaks open slowly and Felix walks in.
“What is it that you got yourself into, Sylvain?” He asks.
“I asked (Name) to show me how he became so cool, so he set up these three lessons for me. This is the last one,” Sylvain says, opening his first book.
“So that’s why you’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off.”
“Yeah... I don’t suppose you can help me, can you?”
“Even if I could I wouldn’t.”
“Right... Of course,” Sylvain opens his second book. Still no dice. He sighed. It was going to be one hell of a night.
Conclusion
You and Linhardt walked into the Library the next morning and found Sylvain just finishing up the paper. He had forty two books next to him, the correct number of books that you and Linhardt had marked the day before. Sylvain pushed the ten page essay toward you.
“It’s done.”
“Alright,” you take the essay and read through the first couple of paragraphs. “Tell me, Sylvain, what did you learn from these lessons?”
“What did I... what now?”
“What did you learn?” Sylvain looks at you and cocks his head. “Sylvain, I’m not going to make you do these things for no reason. So tell me, what did you get out of it?” Sylvain pondered for a moment, then it hit him.
“The first lesson, you told me not to do the one thing I always do, flirting. At first, all I could think of is ‘what does this have to do with becoming cool?’ But now that I reflect on it, it was as if you were training me to hold back.”
“Mmhmm.”
“For lesson two, I didn’t notice it until I was making my way back to the cathedral, but the cats really started liking me once I put them down and let them just follow. All I had to do was be nice to them, then I didn’t have to force them to come.”
“You’re on the right track, Sylvain.”
“And for this final lesson, it really reminded me of you. Because you have this weird uncanny ability of being able to put things that have no relevance together to make something better. Hence the completely different books and the one paper I had to make on them.”
“Wow, you actually got it,” Linhardt was surprised, to say the least. You hand the paper to him and smile at Sylvain.
“Well, there you have it, Sylvain. Now you know how I became the apparent ‘Coolest in Garreg Mach’.”
“That’s... that’s it?”
“Yup. I didn’t pull any strings to become cool, I just decided to be myself.”
“Huh...” Sylvain sighed. “Sorry, man, but that’s a lot of work I did for a kind of underwhelming answer.”
“I’m not disagreeing, Sylvain, but that’s really the truth. When you walk around the halls today, why don’t you pay more attention to how people interact with you? Like I said, I didn’t make you do these for no reason.”
“O-Okay...”
“I’ll see you later, bud!” You and Linhardt walk off again, leaving Sylvain behind. He walks over to the table and nudges Felix awake.
“Well... did you get your answer?” He asks groggily.
“Yeah... I think I did.”
“Can I go now?”
“Yup.”
“Finally,” Felix pushes himself up. “Just for the record, Sylvain, I really didn’t think you had to do all that yesterday. You’re... you’re already cool as is.”
“What was that? What did you say?” Sylvain stopped in his tracks and looked over to the half asleep Felix.
“Don’t make me say it again, Sylvain!” He grumbles. He picks up the pace and walks ahead of Sylvain. “Now come on, the Professor is going to be mad that we’re late.”
“Okay, okay!” Sylvain couldn’t stop the huge smile forming on his face.
Despite the all nighter he pulled, Sylvain felt like he was ready to take on the world right now. He felt great, energized, and so cool right now. Huh, maybe he could even compete with you for the title someday? Nah.

“Y/N, get down!” Chan tries to shout at you as you climb on to the roof of the house where a huge, end of summer party is being thrown. Up there already are your two other best friends, Felix and Seungmin, both who dared you to come up here. The blood in you veins thrums with adrenaline of climbing onto the roof, and you remember that this is what being young is supposed to feel like. It feels amazing.
As you finally pull your body weight on to the roof and wave at Chan and Woojin on the floor still, Felix and Seungmin grin and clap proudly at you. Also on the roof is Seungmin’s friends from class, Hyunjin and Jeongin, and Felix's extremely cute friend from his music class, Han Jisung. You’d never exchanged more than about five words, but his soft brown hair, bunny rabbit ears and beautiful brown eyes have always left you wanting to know him more. You’d heard from Felix he’s quite shy, but as he grins at you and pats the seat beside his legs, he doesn’t look it.
You wonder how much sugar he's had as you take a seat beside him, and take up his offer of his hoodie upon him seeing you shivering in your shorts and shirt. Woojin’s head pops up from the edge of the room, and you hear Chan howling with laughter below us. Beside him, a friend of all the boys shows up and you are sure his name is Minho; the two of you were introduced earlier, but your goldfish memory means it could be anything. His blonde hair and retriever ears blows wildly around his cheeks as he rolls on to the roof, Woojin joining him and crushing your legs as he falls across Jisung and you.
“You two would be a very cute couple. Jisung talks about you all the time you know, Y/N,” Woojin teases, groaning after Jisung kicks the boy and blushes a deep red. His eyes are filled with apologises and humour as he looks at you, and you just laugh it off with a shake of your head.
“Come on, Christopher! You look lonely!” Felix calls down, and there’s a huff of frustration that follows afterwards. You all hear the creaking of the shed that Chan must climb on, followed by a string of profanities before your silver haired friend appears.
“I’m stuck,” he mouths to you, but the whole group howls in laughter in response. You jump up with Jisung, the two of you sliding down the roof and looking to see the damage. He has caught his foot in some lights hanging around the shed, and has no hope of untangling his confused limbs.
You jump on to the roof of the shed, and the whole shelter creaks as Jisung does the same action, making you both burst into laughter. You work together in a haze to untangle the tall boy, shoulders touching as you both laugh at the mess Chan has caused.
Upon finally freeing the older boy and standing up straight, both of you end up swaying on each other to keep your balance on the tiny roof. As Chan clears the roof and finally makes it to the circle of friends, Jisung takes your hand and tugs you towards the side of the house. His bunny ears flop around excitedly, and you can't help but smile at his bright red cheeks, clear eyes and bounce in his step.
“Sorry about Woojin’s comment, Y/N, if it makes you feel uncomfortable. He likes to wind me up,” Jisung says, flustered and clearly quite distressed. You smile at him, giggling at his sweetness and knowing that he’s only going to get more flustered. So in response you squeeze his hand, your eyes crinkling up as you grin at him.
“It’s okay. I’m best friends with Felix so you can imagine how mad that can get sometimes,” you reply, making Jisung howl with laughter. Speaking of the devil, the younger boy pokes his head over the side of the roof and stares at you.
“Hey, you two love birds, quieten down or join us. Don’t have so much fun without us, ” Felix sulks, sticking out his tongue at you pair. You stick out yours in response before looking at Jisung to see his response. He looks up at the roof before sighing, and you can’t help but laugh, feeling the same way.
“Ew, stop flirting with your eyes, Jisung, it isn’t attractive. Climb up here first so we know you aren’t checking her out,” Minho shouts, making the other boys on the roof laugh loudly. There’s a loud thud accompanied by a loud ouch, and when Jisung and you stand on your toes to look, you see that Chan had tripped over Hyunjin’s long legs and landed beside the younger boy.
Jisung rolls his eyes at his goofy friends before standing back flat and smiling at you.
“I’ve never met another bunny hybrid before,” he says, indicating at your white floppy ears and bright cheeks. A defining feature of bunny hybrids, if the floppy or upright ears weren’t indication enough, is that glow on their cheeks that never leave, their endless energy and bouncing steps. Jisung definitely had all of those features - the only time he had ever stopped dancing tonight was to climb on to the roof, and even then he had cleared it in a few springs.
“Me either,” you say, watching his upright ears brush the edge of the roof as you two hide under it from all your loud friends who were currently placing bets on how long it would take for the two bunnies of the friendship circle to get together. Felix, Minho and Jeongin are all dog hybrids, Hyunjin and Seungmin cats, and Chan, Woojin and Changbin were all normal humans.
Changbin finally reaches for the small shed and pulls himself up, grinning at Jisung before smiling at me. He makes a slightly crude comment about Jisung scoring well before pulling himself and his food on to the roof and placing a bet that Jisung will definitely walk you home from the party tonight.
“Now we definitely can’t leave this place together,” Jisung jokes, making you laugh at your ridiculous friends and their mad behaviour before taking Jisung’s hand. He is warm, and his smell reminds you of your childhood, happiness and safety. The way he looks at you as well makes you feel so soft and giddy inside that you nearly sway off of the shed’s roof drunk on laughter.
The two of you climb on to the roof, and you make sure to wedge yourself between Felix and Jisung, definitely leaning towards the bunny of the pair. All night long he keeps his touch somewhere on you, be it your hand, knee, arm or pointing at the stars to show you another constellation that passes with his hand on your shoulder.
You’d be lying if you said you didn’t enjoy the attention.
Felix and Hyunjin do not hang about with cracking the relationship jokes, and this means that for the entire night, Jisung and your cheeks burn brighter than they ever have before. The party in the house dies soon, and the ten of you are kicked from the roof, but end up trailing the dark streets like the reckless youth you were, heading for the park where Felix, Seungmin and you often spent most of your weekends in.
The ten of you all climb on the huge climbing equipment that definitely wasn’t built for three teenage boys, let along nine of them and their female friend. Jeongin and Seungmin crash on the swings whilst Jisung, Felix and Hyunjin all have a competition to see who can hang upside down the longest, Chan, Woojin and Minho crawling into the tiny little hut and grinning at the rest of you from the window whilst Changbin and you sit on the net bridge, feeling it creak under your weight.
Eventually of all the boys grow tired of shouting at each other and end up climbing to join you and Changbin in the netting. Jisung sits behind you, wrapping his arm around you smoothly and earning a loud cheer from all his friends. You hide your face in his hoodie as he hides his in your shoulder, only making the boys all squeal at an even higher pitch.
The net is pulled so tight underneath all ten of you that you have a horrible feeling it is going to snap clean in half eventually. The boys don’t seem to express this concern as Hyunjin lays his head on Seungmin’s legs, Felix sits half asleep and dizzy from hanging upside down for so long beside Changbin with his head on his shoulder, and Woojin, Chan and Minho end up squashing poor Jeongin as they try to climb in and join.
You can feel the disaster waiting to happen.
“I can’t believe we are actually doing this,” Jeongin says, crawling over to sit next to you and Jisung, appreciating the space given. His black ears flop around madly, and his voice cracks when he says how wild he feels. This sends everyone into a howling laughter as he blushes by the mistake and flinches over his voice.
“I can’t believe we all fit in here,” you say, “it is going to snap very soon-”
As if in response, Chan and Hyunjin begin to shake the net cage as much as they can, making it creak under neath you. You cling to Jisung for your life, having visions of you all falling to your deaths even though the most you could do from falling at this height was cut your knees. Silently you just pray that Jisung has good reflexes and will think to grab the pole above your heads and you at the same time as the thing snaps.
Thankfully it doesn’t, and the boys stop shaking the net. Jeongin goes back to explaining how this is the craziest thing he has ever done as a teenager, and you can’t help but agree, pushing your ears back and laying against Jisung.
Given the time of the night the temperature has dropped really low and you feel freezing, despite wearing his hoodie. Your bare legs are covered in goosebumps, and Minho notices this, getting all of the boys to throw their jackets and hoodies on to your legs in a big heap and warm you up. Jisung ends up stealing half of them for his legs as well, and the two of you sit cuddled up, sharing as much warmth as you can whilst the boys all begin falling asleep on each other.
Reasonably you know that you probably ought to wake them all up and head home, but the thrill of the night keeps you awake and you know that Jisung isn’t falling asleep anytime soon. If a murderer was to walk across and kill you all now, you’d be awake to alert everyone else at least.
Jeongin is the last to fall into a light sleep, falling into your lap as you twist to chat with Jisung. The two of you spend what feels like hours talking about life, wrapped in the cloak of night as you express your brightest moments and some of your darkest thoughts. Jeongin’s hair is soft against your left hand, and you hadn’t realised when Jisung’s hand had clasped your right but you weren’t going to let go anytime soon.
“Hey, Y/N,” he says softly, your ears brushing his face as he leans closer to you. “Thank you for letting me spend this night with you. It was really special to me.”
You frown at his words, because the way that he has said it suggests that the night was about to come to a close. As you look at the sky again you realise that it is in fact the end of the night, that early grey haze of morning before the sun has risen coming into view over the hills. Jisung smiles at you, glancing over all of the features of your face in the soft light before resting his head on your shoulder.
You realise exactly in this moment that you would love to spend all of your sunrises like this, with Jisung by your side, as well as your sunsets and middays and midnights and all of your time, if you were being perfectly honest. In just one night your distant crush on Jisung has blossomed into a need for a full relationship, and you definitely hope he feels the same. In fact, that’s what you are wishing for as the two of you silently watch the sunrise together, both of you hoping that this is the first of many spent together without either of you actually saying it, or knowing that the other feels that way.

★ Favorite things for all your ocs?
I’ve been trying fordays to do this thing but I was having complications. And because this requestis going to take like 40 years to complete if I literally used EVERYONE, you’rejust getting swtor ocs. I don’t make the rules, I just make the characters.
tagging @ikarralives because her ocs aretotally going to show up in this because I have a severe love for the ships.
This is all going under the cut.
GrandpaVywyn: Spending the holidayswith his family and getting to tell all the great-grandkids stories from whenhe was younger.
Dev: Running cons with his daughter, Nonicia. Hemissed out on a lot of her life because he was in prison, so he’ll take thebest father-daughter bonding he can get.
Malus: Controlling everything. His motives are notgood and you should be concerned with what he has planned.
Udo: meeting up with Lumaili for caf.
Orar: Spending time with Usatau. And later gettingto know Akiwo.
Usatau: Seeing the accomplishments of all herchildren. (Also the look that Orar gets while he’s cleaning his blaster and hegets all focused.)
Larana: Her sons, wife, and stepdaughter areliterally everything to her. But also knowing that one of her sons helped(indirectly) take Malus down is also something she is pretty damn pleased with.(Originally, Loreqo was supposed to be the one to kill Malus, with Lotharelignoring Malus’s demand for support and later joining the fight, but it waschanged to Yonnul because lost so much because of his father and the sith thatit felt right. THE MORE YOU KNOW.)
Rainee: Knowing that her work was actually helpingthe republic. But she also was a sucker for greasy diner food. (Where is she?No one knows.)
Tamau: The look on Myraala’s face when she’s tryingto process a joke. And knowing that all three of his daughters managed toinherit that look.
Myraala: Smuggling. And her kids. And Saechacontinuing the family business.
Idrinas: The sound of rain when she’s stuck insidewith a cup of tea and something good to read. And knowing that her daughtersare both safe and equipped to handle anything that comes their way.
Coryn: He gets a kick out of hearing Malani bitchabout people. And the way that Idrinas’ hair falls into her face in waves.
Nonicia: Spending quality time with her girlfriend. Orher dad. Mostly the girlfriend.
Rhori: Literally anything and everything about Sivanis her favorite. But if it has to be just one thing, it would probably be thatSivan chose to marry her of all the people in the galaxy and that after longmissions, they get to come home to each other.
Yonnul: Besides playing pranks on the jedi? He reallyloves the days when there are no planned parties and he, Hemile and Theron canall just chill out and have a day off.
Loreqo: Making things for Emin and Vector. Whetherit’s weaving something or sewing something or spending forever trying to make adish that just doesn’t turn out, it’s everything if he can make them smile.
Lotharel: Prior to being reunited with Keth, he verymuch enjoyed getting to know a variety of bounty hunters (Except for Rishuud, whom he never liked and will never like). He also likes rain.
Lumaili:Spending time with her father, Udo, and getting to know him. It’s not a veryjedi thing, but she quite enjoys getting caf with him.
Uliccol:When the morning light creeps over Talaar while she’s still asleep and he justgets to lay there a little longer and memorize her face and the way her hairfalls.
Numelia:Being free to choose is a huge part of her life and she loves it. She alsoloves when her kids try to sneak attack either herself or Torian. And alsogetting to spend time with her husband is definitely her favorite thing buteverything else is super high up there.
Akiwo: Getting to brag aboutPitha and Sahdrein. And the loth-cats. But damn if he doesn’t get all sappy ifhe is ever asked about if he is married. Because he totally will sit there andtalk about just how much he loves the both of them. This usually ends with himeither calling them to tell them how much he loves them… Or him coming home andadoring them.
Saecha:Surprising Sid. Hands down, she will surprise Sid by coming to visit or bysending her little things on a whim.
Karei: Getting things donefor the Resistance. If she can free her home, she will take pride in knowingshe did everything she could for it.
Pitha: Being the anonymousdonor for things that her husbands are passionate about. They eventually findout, but she tries to keep it quiet for a while because she just loves seeinghow their eyes light up when they talk about the things they enjoy and if shecan do something like that for them, she’s going to.
Sev’rana:After she leaves the Empire and is allowed to unapologetically be herself. Andthat she can openly be with Rast and Felix after that.
Malani:Force lightning. Force lightning is her favorite thing.
Rasee: Hearing all ofNundhiasa’s stories when she calls or visits. And spoiling his niece because hewould definitely hype Hirani up on sweets and then return her to Nundhiasa andwatch hell break loose.
Emlaiyaliya:Sleeping in or getting a day to herself where she can watch her holodramas withno one to judge her.
Nundhiasa:Pretty much doing anything at all with Talus and/or Hirani is her favorite.Especially around the holidays.
Eryata:Teasing Nun about that one thing that happened that one time and flirting withall of the ladies.
Rishuud:In short… Cekke. But I think he would fight anyone who referred to her as hisfavorite thing. He is crazy about her, though. He writes poems for her anddefinitely serenades her and figures out like 100 different ways to show her heloves her and she is pretty much the only person he wouldn’t correct if she calledhim Dzârrus.
Fallastia:When she finally gets Karei’s mind off the battlefield and they can finally relax.Or just remembering when Karei caught her at the spaceport and told her sheloved her. And lazy morning kisses.
L’eiva:Relaxing in the sunlight. Especially if there’s a nice, sandy beach to lay on.Even better if there’s a cute person on the beach with her.
Virith:Getting to spend time with her brother, Sicarth, and discussing the things thathave happened since their last meeting. But she also enjoys spending time awayfrom the rigid rules of the Jedi and getting a breather.
Sicarth:Despite the fact that he decided to focus more on the ideals of the jedi, hecan’t help but enjoy the time he gets to spend with Virith (and, as if topunish himself, getting to see that Yonnul is still okay is always nice forhim.)
Korr Treja:The fact that he works on the same squad as Rannei and he gets to see her allthe time, even if she’s yelling at him for getting himself hurt and now she hasto worry about him while she’s healing him and that is just distracting damnit.
Rannei:When Korr laughs, not just chuckles but really laughs, that’s one of herfavorite things. It means he is happy.
Kri’hi:The fact that Nexu squad has taken her in and treated her like family. It tookher a while to warm up to them, but she now feels super comfortable with them anddoesn’t think that any of them would defect like last time…
Ghiwa: Messing with the merchantkids and playing pranks on all of them when she can. And stealing things withTiryn. (But she won’t steal from the merchant kids because she knows just howhard they all work to make the money that they get and she wouldn’t do that to them.)
Tiryn: Surprise visiting hiswife while she is playing the merchant and chuckling to himself while she triesto keep her calm. And when she comes home and they can resume their usualbusiness. (He’s glad to have left the order to be with her. They have a lot offun adventures.)
Sela: While she loves the senseof calm she gets while blowing glass and making bits of jewelry, her favoritething is when Kazic sits with her and mindlessly discusses his day whiletending to the plants around the house.
Kazic: Decorating Sela’shair and glass creations with all sorts of flowers and making flower crowns.Sela also once made him a glass flower crown because she couldn’t make him anice one with real flowers so she made him one the way she knew best and it’s probablythe most precious thing to him.
Daesha:Picking pockets and impressing the ladies. Sure, it’s nice working with Dev andhis crew, but she really likes being able to just go back to her roots to stealfrom the rich and buy some ladies a drink or two.
Artus: Sparring withhis dad in hand-to-hand combat and learning cool mechanic stuff from his mom.And learning force things from the collective group of force-users willing totrain him.
Naiad: Playing pranks withIdash, even if it means getting in trouble with his mom. (And later, hecontinues playing pranks with Idash, but his favorite thing is that he marriedthem.)
Cecima: Showingup her brothers. She likes being a better shot than them while being one of theyoungest. (But later, one of her favorite things is noting different thingsabout how beautiful her crush is.)
Ritosh:Listening to his parents and siblings and trying to figure out things about them. And when one of his siblings say something like “are you seeing this?” becausehe can just go “No” and then sit there trying to figure out what he meant for amoment.
Idash: Playing awesomepranks with Naiad until they’re both in trouble. And later running jobs with theirfamily. (Idash loves running jobs with Naiad, though it does get tough when… aparticular incident happens. Then they wonder if it was all worth it for a bit)
Shakka:Visiting Hirani and getting to call her “little sister” and teaching her thingsabout being a twi’lek that her mother taught her back on Nar Shaddaa when she wasyoung.
Hirani:Any time that she gets to spend with Nun and Talus? Her favorite. Her stuffedakk dog? Her favorite. The real akk dog? Her favorite. Knowing that her adoptiveparents are, by no means, perfect, but they’re trying and they love her meanseverything to her.
