It's a continuation issue, btw. From the rA9 plot. That's why we see Markus with this leading role and the one that uses the interface differently. Then we got the Connor plot with the relation between him and Markus and proceed to copy the method.
Capitol is the only place where androids do that without Markus but off screen. The fact this chapter was changed due to North's romance makes me wonder how it was before, I mean, related to that.
Hacking easy interactive objects should be a common deal for androids, like some type of locks, open TVs and devices like pads etc - objects androids usually interact with but a deviant will use it when it shouldn't - which is the case in Stratford where Josh uses the pad to control all the channels and use himself as camera input and the way North also locks the roof door. She can also interact with those thingys in Capitol which I think construction workers usually can.
Invading security systems and private channels is already a 🤔 cuz it's just very convenient even your heavy work unit can just intercept the feds communication without major issues with tracking and encryption - if even Rupert's encryption would take weeks without a key but, well, he's an android.
This is dangerous.
In Crossroads we see androids using stolen police equipment to crack communications, tracking routes, schedules and locations - even some files. Invading a CyberLife store can be done but I assume the group leaders just dealt the security system without tracking (maybe putting a block on the dark 😂😂😂😂). It's just very convenient how any android could just analyze the security camera from afar and read the devices IP address and in which network it is connected like the android works in there and know this type of info cuz, well, they're androids, computers. If it's the case then congratulations, CyberLife. Y'all dumb mfs leaving security things open for any androids - listen, I know y'all sell 'em but c'mon.
If other teams got models that deal with this type of security then we know how they hacked into CyberLife store systems. But I fear it's the less of the issues here. Every door should be reinforced, meaning they would have to use something powerful to break into. Is it convenience having trucks or heavy vehicles close to each one? 😂
In the end CyberLife, android manufacturer, made 'em system human-proof but not android-proof, or I'd say AI-proof.
Humans would take some time to hack things and tools will be necessary even if minimal. Androids are AIs, computers, they can find these tools (or maybe they already got 'em) and how to use it for specific purposes - the time should be reduced. Idk how much tho esp considering androids are mostly dumb in this universe, they're waiting for somebody to do everything due to 'em common nature being obeying someone.
I think it's easier an experienced human hacker using a household model as computer to hack high security shit than a deviant household model doing it using 'em head in dbh.
So no I don't think common androids can just hack into private communications and encrypted security systems "using 'em head" fast as Markus or Connor or even start conversion chains cuz they gonna wait for 'em to do it in the first place. But also cuz some systems are just faster than others, a private security guard android will be faster hacking police comms than a household or heavy unit android. This household android will have to see someone doing it so they can try copying or waste time trying to think about how to proceed using the knowledge and tools they have.
Man, no doubt if u ask your fellow deviant android to "convert" another one mf gonna say "not my function", "and how the hell do I do it?". And the worst: "I'm not rA9". We see in game how it's possible for other androids deviating without even interfacing. They just... See what's cracking and it happens to cause shock. Those androids behind the glass in Capitol, Luther, Rupert, the Tracis etc. They see the other android and get impacted by it.
And we know a method to get impacted/SI is by interfacing but they gonna be forcibly reading memories from a deviant or the deviant one forcing 'em memories into a non-deviant one. We got a hack in both cases cuz androids can't force unauthorized transactions, the system won't recognize as genuine. U either needa be a deviant and know u can do that or... not even a deviant but that guy.
Still the way the boom happens with Markus arriving to Jericho I'm 100% sure androids don't know how to do that, the numbers would be far bigger. Damn, they couldn't even go outside that ship and deviants were just blending in with the humans. Nobody ever thought about using the interface like this, nobody even knows about it. Hacking things is just a no, it's scary and can get 'em dead. Mfs are paralyzed in a state where they won't care about things like that, only survive without being noticed as android.
And after Markus arrive what they do? The rA9 thing. They wait for Markus instructions, ideas, wait for Markus to do stuff. The message here is pretty clear to me.

Hey! Probably a hard question to answer because everyone's proccess is different, but, how do you develop a plot from a character? Or better yet, from two character's relationship with each other? I love fantasy, but I love fantasy with romance. I find myself creating the characters and plotting the romance, leaving the, well, "real" plot for last. Another question: how do you organize ideas and key points to connect the plot? I never know how to do that, even when I have a plot lol. Thank you!
Okay, so the thing is, you've forgotten that books and stories are completely made up out of whole cloth. Even if you're basing it on something else, your choice to do that is totally free. Unless, say, you're writing something to assignment. But, actually we can learn something from that.
Because the thing is, an assignment is just telling you what needs to be done and then you do it.
If you don't have the assignment, then you just... eenie meenie miney moe, pick what you want to do. And then you write your plot.
So, like, if you find it easier to write a story based on romance and the relationships between the characters, and the characters themselves, then you already know how to do this. Your goal is to have that romance/relationship, and so your romance plot is built around your characters and that goal. I'm guessing that you build your romance plot around some of your favorite tropes. Enemies to lovers or only one bed or fake dating or princess and rogue or whatever. Or maybe more obscure tropes. Or more basic-- boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl... or variations on that.
What you need to do next-- or maybe also-- since you want to write a different genre than romance, is to look at the conventions and tropes of your intended genre. Whatever it is that you want to write. Dragon riders? Evil sorcerer? A quest? Chosen one? Hidden princess? Honestly, whatever you want.
Here's a hint. Pick the tropes and conventions that will enable your characters to face their fears and grow. Does your protagonist just want to belong? Put them on the outside of society and, idk, put a price on their head. Does your romantic couple have a true love? Give them a prophecy that gets in the way, or make them from two separate warring people, or perhaps she's a princess promised to marry the evil sorcerer... IDK, go crazy, honestly.
But you want to find ways to make things DIFFICULT for your characters where their relationship to each other is both tested and... I think it's a nice concept if their relationship makes them stronger and better able to conquer their obstacles, also. That's if you want the romance subplot to be more than just something minor, anyway. You can make it as important as you want to the main storyline, but it seems to me that since you LOVE the romance, and find that to be the kind of backbone of your story, then just go with that. It's okay if the "main" plot is built up around the love story. There are a LOT of stories with the main point that love saves the day, and they don't even have to be romances.
To put it more concisely, to build your main plot around your characters, you want to chose obstacles that ensure your characters are challenged in their fears and goals, so that they can overcome their difficulties and fight to achieve their desires, and GROW as characters. That's what stories are, imo. How characters grow. How the challenges in the story impact them and change them. How do you want your characters to change? Pick obstacles to get them there. Make sure it's not an easy road, and add in some failures before they get to the end.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this. I started my answer before I came down with covid and then couldn't finish it. Then my computer crashed and I lost what I'd written. lol. So here I am back, mostly better, with your answer. Oh the second question is going to get it's own ask, to keep things simplified.

How do we change our subconscious belief systems? Ik it takes time, patience and self-awareness to reprogram ourselves, to tear out the destructive and self-sabotaging habits/thought patterns/(in)actions, to replace them with the right things that'll allow us to live the life we deserve
How do we actually do that?
There's such an info overload on the net. Who do I trust? What actually works? I really want to change, but I keep relapsing, then I give up, then as I realise I've spiralled, I get desperate, then I re-try... Then the cycle repeats
I have deep-rooted issues - no doubt that's why anything I try doesn't stick (plus mostly, what can I do when a part of me itself doesn't care about 'changing'? My desire to change < Convincing power of that part). It's unbearable, sometimes. Other times, when I wake up, I conveniently completely forget I was doing a particular method (eg I find myself working on affirmations for up to a week, then the next day somehow I don't even remember doing this (or I magically lose the paper I'd written them on), and it takes a while before I recall what I was working on). Extremely frustrating. Especially since it took me a while to identify these sly tricks of the SC mind (and it was a real aha moment when I looked back and saw this pattern snaking back into my past)
Ah these SC beliefs. It's so insane how powerful they can be. Ik some part of me is scared sick of me changing and getting rid of the old (90%+ self-destructive) me. Idk how to battle myself when it seems so natural for me to fall into these quicksand traps. Idk if you've experienced this. It's been some months now and it's not getting easier
Ever since I've 'woken up', I realise how rotten my current reality is, and the consequences of my poor thinking/feeling in the past. But I accept that. It's just: what if everything keeps going like this, and eventually leads to the same future? An unfulfilled, lackadaisical existence. I'm terrified of that. As if I'm in the passenger seat of a crashing car. The worst is when opportunities do knock (coz of some successful deliberate LOA practices), and I find myself unable to step up. Deep fear, hidden guilt, major lack of trust in myself have led to this. Phases of darkness during my developing years haven't helped either. As time passes, and the above cycle repeats, I become aware of more (long-buried) twisted beliefs and distorted concepts of my 'worth' and 'future'. It's frightening what monsters have been hiding under the bed. I feel helpless and alone
If I really force myself to challenge some beliefs, say, I end up 'researching' instead, and we all know endlessly consuming content (articles, 'self-help' books, YT 'coaches') is nice and all, but it ain't worth nothing without application
And application is where I fail
The only thing that's changed is I've become self-aware (say, half of the time) in realising when I'm falling prey to the 'destructive' beliefs. Again, it's not much use when I still give in (except now with added guilt at the back of my mind). But no, I do admit it's an achievement! I'm more aware of my thoughts too (as opposed to never realising what damage I was doing to myself by self-inflicting pain via thoughts for so many years)
Can I change? How would you go about turning your life around, from within, if you were in my place?
You inspire me so much. I hope you can give me some advice. I need help like you would help a child - Leading by the hand
What do I do, henceforth, to start rebuilding the foundations of my mind? (SC belief system)
Love you ❤️
And apologies for the long ask but I had to get it out of my chest instead of letting the helplessness grow unchecked. Any help would be appreciated eternally
Thank you for opening up, sometimes we just have to allow the words to flow✨
First of all, I would highly recommend Dr. Joe Dispenza’s book Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself. Because this is what you have to do in order to establish a new belief system, you have to break the habit of being yourself and thus let go of the past self. Dispenza shows you how to do this.
What I’ve personally learned from his books, and from other materials, is that establishing a new belief system is never an immediate thing, and you have to be very patient. You also have to be prepared for setbacks and be willing to rise above them.
I think you’re in some kind of loop with your current belief system. We have between 60-70 000 thoughts a day. 95% of these thoughts are unconscious thoughts. 90% of the thoughts you have today are the same thoughts you had yesterday. You’re running on autopilot, and the key is to establish a new program.
You change your belief system through repetition and turning disempowering beliefs into empowering beliefs. Shadow work is essential here because first, you have to understand the root of particular thoughts, and then change this root and create more empowering beliefs. You say you’re afraid of certain beliefs you uphold, and you don’t have to. You can heal them and let them go.
Since the subconscious mind is like a computer, you have to establish a new program, and you do this by repetition. Affirmations are essential here. I’ve got a post about affirmations, you can read it here, I would highly recommend combining some of the techniques I presented there. I really think that affirmations are the best and the most effective way to reprogram your mind; you're already programming your mind with certain affirmations, but these affirmations are full of fear and uncertainty. Time for the new, conscious ones.
However, the most important part of changing your belief system is commitment. Why? Because the moment you decide to change, your ego will do everything to prevent you from attaining change. Your ego’s job is to protect you, and it does so by keeping you in a familiar situation, even if this situation doesn't serve you. Your ego is afraid of the unknown, however, the only way to establish a new belief system and thus a new reality is to willingly step into the unknown. You say you’re afraid of letting go of your old self, but it’s just your ego trying to be in control. You can let go of your past self. Your past self has nothing to offer you anymore.
You have to become very conscious of your habits. Maybe change your routine a little bit? Stop doing certain things on autopilot, and find new ways of doing them. It’s connected with something called neuroplasticity, Dr. Joe Dispenza explains it very well in the book I’ve mentioned.
It usually takes about 30-90 days of consistent work to establish a new belief system. That’s why you have to stay committed. You have to be prepared for a little battle with your past self and past belief system. You have to be prepared for the fact that you might want to come back to your old thinking patterns, and the moment you do this, it’s time to self-regulate. It’s time to switch your thinking and your emotions. Whenever you do this, you become a conscious designer of your reality and you stop allowing life to happen to you.
Hope that this was helpful. I know that you can do this, it takes time, but eventually, you’ll master your thoughts.
Love you too 💗

Rating the walls of a room in my school just because I can:
This place is something like a Study room, it has books and magazines and a lot of tables and chairs and games like chess, 3D tic tac toe, a grid and some bottle caps for normal tic tac toe and a computer. It seems kind of cool to me, it doesn't have a certain aesthetic or like a color scheme, it's just really colorful. Even though the furniture isn't any set or something, it all kinda fits together imo, but I'm not good with this stuff, so maybe it doesn't.
As for the location, it's on the first floor, near the classrooms mainly used for languages (we have cool ones to pick from too, at least for me; all of us speak Czech cause we're Czech, we've got English as the second language and choose a third one after some time, the third one can be French, Spanish, German or Russian, but only two open) and the rooms where the teachers stay when they're free, have consultations with the student etc. (We call them 'kabinety' which sounds like it translates to cabinets but a cabinet is a piece of furniture so idrk what to call them).
First of all, here's kind of a blueprint or whatever, made by me:
Tumblr media
The sizes of most stuff is probably incorrect because a) my memory is shit and b) even if I stood there while drawing this, I can't do the stuff where you take something and draw it smaller or bigger but with the same distances and stuff if that makes sense. It's not like a map so up isn't necessarily North (though it could be, I don't have a clue). This is mostly to show where each wall is and how close/far from the main entrance it is and stuff. Let's got then, starting with
Wall 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wall one is the worst of them. I know it looks really cool but before you get angry, listen to me. It is cool. That stuff on it are some quotes and poems and stuff, written on papers which are stuck to it (idk if it's glue or if they put it on there when the paint was drying, I literally have no idea). But most of the quotes are a load of crap. Some sound like they're from r/im14andthisisdeep (shit is it spelled 14 or fourteen in it? anyways you get the point), some are just.. dumb. They include "A mask, the only part of their face that people choose." and "What Johnny won't learn, neither will John." (Loosely translated, Johnny being meant as kind of a nickname which you usually call kids and stuff.), "There is only one truth, which is why not everyone can be right." (This one makes more sense in Czech but still kinda bullshit tbh), "A long shadow doesn't necessarily mean greatness." (Also makes more sense in Czech, greatness sometimes having the same word as largeness or whatever). Some are pretty cool, but most are trash. Example of the ones I find cool is: "Dictators ride tigers, scared to come down from their backs. And the tigers are getting hungry." I'm not really sure about what the last part is supposed to mean, if it's that the tigers will eat the dictators or?? but it's a great quote anyways. One of the ones I hate is "Laziness is the key to poverty." or some shit like that. They're mostly by dead Czech (or Czechoslovakian) politicians (noticed at least two ex presidents) or poets. But there was one by a guy who was probably a philosopher, idk, definitely wasn't Czech and to me his name sounded Greek but I don't really know and don't even remember the name of the man, the quote was something about not having friends. Cool design, probably made by students but I don't like most of the stuff that's written there, 6/10.
Wall 2
Tumblr media
This is wall 2. I love wall 2. It has really pretty colors and there's bubbles. Radiates good vibes. Very nice. I don't know how to describe it, it's just beautiful and I don't know what more to say. 10/10.
Wall 3*
Tumblr media
Wall 3 looks kind of ominous. Not in a bad way (is there even such a thing?) It has mystery/thriller novel vibes. The feet aren't painted, they had to color someone's feet and somehow get their footsteps up to the half of the wall and I think a) that's very cool, b) it would be fun to participate in/watch and c) it's very creative. The color of the floor is my favorite color. I like how the stripes on the "walls" of the hallway are probably supposed to be just striped that are painted on these "walls" but also look kinda 3D until you look at how they connect to the "ceiling." I am also in love with the "lights" and the way they reflect on the "floor." It kind of doesn't match the vibe of the room and looks less colorful somehow even tho there's a lot of colors, but it's neat. 9.5/10
Wall 4*
Tumblr media
Wall 4 is my personal favorite, even though it's the smallest. It's very lively, has pretty colors and shapes that look really really cool to me, idk how else to describe it. I just love it a lot. 11/10, would stare at for hours.
[END, that's all of the walls]
*I'm sorry, I didn't realize how bad the photos of Wall 3 and (especially) Wall 4 are. Wall 3 is kinda cut off at the top. Wall 4 is cut off even more and it's blurry. I'll provide better pictures later, if I'm able to.
If anyone actually read this thank you, but why the fuck did you do that? You just wasted your time watching a teenage girl rate her school's walls. Anyways, I appreciate it a lot, because I put a lot of effort into this post (probably way too much). It was fun to do tho. Maybe I'll rate some other random stuff later? Maybe I'll update the ratings of the walls? Who knows.
**just realized that Walls 3 and 4 aren't actually cut off, it just looked that way. Anyways, Wall 4 is still kinda blurry, sorry about that.
