Happy Halloween! Have you ever read A Dowry of Blood? It's about a kind of poly relationship a woman has with a vampire (possibly Dracula). The writing style is so good too!

no i haven’t read it yet, but it’s on my list !!! i’ve heard this one is so good, it sounds like something i would love a lot !! im steadily making my way through vampire fiction, but i honestly didn’t make much progress on my tbr for october this year, so i’m kinda sad about that :/ i'm in the middle of carmilla and queen of the damned rn !!! i've just been so busy with work and school and writing that reading has taken a place on the back burner sadly ! i was planning on reading frankenstein this year too, but i ran out of time :( hopefully, though, i'll finally read that and a dowry of blood next year for spooky season !!
