Rhys eat shit (a summary of events)
Edit/Disclaimer: this post is out of date. please read this post for more information. the doxxer has now been revealed to be Veal themself, however per my rules of keeping everything in place, these posts will remain up for archival purposes, despite the ongoing speculation of the time.
Original Post below: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
\Well anons, it's been a hell of a ride. (I'm bringing out the proper grammar for this one so you know it's legit.) Sorry for the long post, let's just start at the start:
About a week ago, I received a message in DMs from Zagazero, the creator of Isopups and former owner of the species. Zaga had initially been the coder for Terraliens and was deep within BugBox/Lemoncivet/Ginnedtonic's (Co-creator of Terraliens and former co-owner) friend circle. Within these messages, Zaga had admitted to one of the earliest of Terraliens' controversies, being that Gin and Zaga had traced the IP address of the person who ran the original Terralien vent blog, and used that to ban them. However, the ban was rushed at best, and the traced IP actually linked to the location of a ISP tower and not the actual location of the user. In layman's terms, they got the wrong guy. (You can read the full post here). Zagazero had also went to @/csmingy to talk more in depth about their supposed mishandling of Isopups, which you can check out here because I am not the most informed on the history of Isopups. It's important however, to make a note that Veal, a person who has their own history with Gin (notable posts about that are here and here and here), was a part of the Isopups document by telling Zagazero that all their friends were shit talking them behind their back.
The post on csmingy was made on December 12 at 1:33 PM. That same day, I received a self-advertising anon from a new Terra vent blog, "terratimeventblog." (Unfortunately I do not remember the exact time but suffice to say it was pretty close to Zaga's apology tour)
Shortly after this all drops, I get an anon suspiciously bringing up Veal when it's pretty unwarranted. Veal hadn't been mentioned on this blog in months, and as far as most people knew they had been behaving.
The next day, Veal's personal info is grabbed by "terratimeventblog," furthermore shortened to TTV (Most likely by searching Veal's legal name in a background checker site of some sort). In this post, I give proof, as well as speculating this has something to do with Gin and their circle of friends. Some details that connect it to them are:
Gin had donated to Veal's GoFundMe in the past, which featured Veal's real legal name due to GoFundMe needing to be connected to a bank account.
TTV appears to have a clear, personally motivated goal due to the GoFundMe being mentioned, as well as the fact that Veal had been relatively low profile in recent months
Later on, it was discovered that the doxxer was using a VPN that is exclusive to Canada. Gin is public about the fact they live in Canada.
The day after they receive the threatening DMs from TTV, they attempt to rejoin the "terra re-uprising" server, and their Discord account is hacked. The doxxer (presumably still TTV) changed Veal's bio to their full address, legal name, and birthdate, which was temporarily available to people who clicked Veal's profile.
Amid speculation, some of Gin's friends pay us a visit to whiteknight. Notable asks include:
"Phone anon" who insists that Gin has no motive to do this
Someone thinking it's funny for Veal to be afraid of their info getting leaked
And finally:
"Deadass..." Pointing some to a key suspect
"Deadass" anon would leave a few more messages in my inbox, looking for every single possible avenue to make Veal look bad and Gin the victim, while also letting their own mask slip quite a bit. Here they are in order:
The start of it
Part 2: "Veal probably doxxed themself for attention"
Part 3: "He just wants attention"
Part 4: "Look at Veal's blog from when they were 12."
Part 5: "I'm keeping an eye on Veal, they bought a species today look"
Part 6: "Veal IP blocked me. This means he is bad."
During this saga, there are other key points that arise, such as the fact that Lemonyrhys (Current owner of Isopups and one of Gin's biggest meat riders) is the only person who knew the URL of Veal's blog from when they were 12. Additionally, Veal only has 3 people IP blocked on Toyhouse, Dabi, Gin, and Rhys. While I was fending off these anons, Veal was also receiving some...really heinous anon messages on their Tumblr (Genuinely, worse than anything I've read on here before). Screenshots will not be provided for their privacy, however these anons used specific, in-depth details of Veal's past trauma, and weaponized it against them. This trauma was only spoken about within the server mentioned in this post, and thus would only be known to people within Gin's friend group.
The final nail in the coffin for Rhys was when Veal turned off anonymous asks, and Rhys (presumably without noticing) continued on to send this:
Tumblr media
Most people had already recognized Rhys from the posts in my inbox, but this mistake showed their ass fully. Rhys is almost certainly the person who sent the disgusting anons to Veal, they are definitely the person who sent the 6 part saga above, and there's a high likelihood they sent this ask to Zagazero:
Tumblr media
One more detail to note is that the profile photo of "lemonyrhyspuffs" is the same profile photo as TTV, creating a link between them and the original doxxer.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lets draw our conclusions. (WARNING: opinions and speculation inbound!!)
First off: Rhys is fucked. They are a deeply disgusting individual who is vindictive and who should not be trusted. The content of the asks they sent to Veal anonymously are disgusting, especially considering the two had (to my knowledge) once been friends.
I also do not want to rule out Gin as a potential suspect just yet. While it's clear the harassment campaign is definitely from Rhys, the Canadian VPN is still a very damning piece of evidence. My personal hypothesis is that Rhys and Gin (and however many others from their friend group) colluded on this campaign to torment Veal because they made the cardinal sin of outing the group for what it is to Zagazero: a bunch of no-lifes who sit around all day shit talking the people they call "friends," and as soon as Zaga publicized this, the group swooped in to pick off the whistleblower. A perfect storm of Gin collecting personal info and Rhys dual wielding with being a whiteknight and vicious harasser.
At least, that's the story I'm piecing together in my mind. There still isn’t solid evidence that Gin is without a doubt involved, so take it with a grain of salt until further notice, it’s just my speculation and it could be a series of really convenient coincidences. Nonetheless, this has been yet another example of why nobody should fall in with this clique of horrible people, because the second you realize their toxicity and leave the cult, you are now their next victim.

coder friends, I require assistance!
basically, there is a tool I want that doesn't seem to exist, but it feels just simple enough that I feel like potentially I could learn the required skills to make it and I need a sanity check that it is as achievable as I hope, and also that I'm choosing the most sensible language (python from my vague google searching)
here is a rough mockup.
step one: decide how many segments
step 2: decide how many little bumps per segment
step 3: choose your offset
step 4: choose a colour (ideally you can use a colour picker or hex code, but I can live with a predefined palette)
step 5: (image one!) click a colour onto one of the bumps, that automatically makes lines between all of those bumps (angle defined by the offsets)
[repeat that for all bumps] (image 2)
step six (stretch goal): clicking one one of the threads moves that to the top  (image 3)
this website is *kind* of similar to what im aiming for, it shows the way i want the colour to apply along the zigzag, and it shows how if you click somewhere the rotation changes? (sidenote: EXCELLENT website for inkle/tablet weaving!)
!
basically i want a sanity check that this seems like it'd be a Pretty Doable level of "learn 2 code", and that python is the most sensible language to learn?
i did also look at lua but idk if its a "slightly harder to learn python" but python could be more useful for other things sooo might as well work a little harder?
edit: a friend suggested JavaScript, plus they know it and have become Intrigued so will probably help me if I need it haha, so I shall start my quest with js

so i announced my everythingathon (starts tuesday btw!) on stream last week. Sub goals and forfeit below!
fulhamblr was annoyed that i didnt add any extra time for retumbles (reblogs), so i got my coder to recode the program. now every retumble adds 2 seconds, on the sole caveat that you fuckers
do not abuse the shit out of the 2s per reblog. (please)
if someone reblogs it 100x a second, it ruins it for the whole class and i turn it off entirely, okay chat?
but it's entirely reasonable to do it once an hour if you're excited and liveblogging it or whatever :3
Lets use #everythingathon for liveblogging it why not.

(edit: i'll post the one on the day. it'll be really obvious :3)

🌿 Day 10 — A Restless Day, A Risen Will
Date: 10 June 2025 (Tuesday)
Mood: Anxious, distracted, but awakening again
Energy Level: 3/10
Weather: Still, quiet — as if waiting for me to shift gears
🔍 What I Faced Today
I spent most of the day distracted — scrolling through social media, absorbing information that had no real connection to my goals.
I don’t even know why I let myself slip, especially when I’m so deeply aware of the consequences.
The harsh truth? I am responsible for how I spent today.
But accepting that truth is also my first step back.
📘 Topics Studied:
❌ Nothing meaningful.
My focus was scattered.
I didn’t show up for my studies, for my mission, or for my future.
⚠️ Obstacles Faced:
Mindless consumption of content
Lost awareness of what really matters
Let the day control me instead of choosing discipline
Ignored the voice inside me asking me to refocus
🌱 Reflections
This is not who I want to be.
This is not how I want to live.
I have only one life — and it’s slipping through my fingers when I allow these wasted days to repeat.
But today doesn’t define me.
What I do next will.
The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.
And my first step is this: acknowledging the truth without shame, without excuses.
I want to become a powerful, skilled coder.
I want to build something real from my life.
I want to give back — to my parents, who have shown me faith, belief, and unshakeable love even when I faltered.
I will not chase cheap dopamine anymore.
I will respect my time, my mind, and my mission.
🚀 Looking Ahead
🔹 Immediate Goals:
Start my morning tomorrow with 10 minutes of meditation
Focus on one meaningful study task: DSA or Web Dev
Block social media during study hours
End the day with honest journaling again
🔹 Long-Term Mission:
Crack GATE 2026 (CS-IT + DS-AI)
Become a Full Stack Developer
Get job-ready and earn with dignity
Repay my parents with actions, not words
Transform this life into something I can be proud of
💭 Closing Thought
“Whether you do good or bad, let it go — the next moment is always yours to shape.”
I fell today. But I refuse to fall behind.
Tomorrow is a new page — and I will write it with intention, effort, and belief.
Not just counting days…
But making them count.

Kicking Off My Blockchain and Crypto Adventure
Hey there, tech enthusiasts! I’m a web developer who’s spent years coding websites, but I’ve always been curious about blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Last week, I finally took the plunge, and wow, it’s like stepping into a new universe! I’m starting this blog to share my journey, from total newbie to (hopefully) crypto-savvy coder. My goal is to keep it real, break things down simply, and help you jump into crypto without feeling overwhelmed. Here’s what I learned in my first week, plus some tips to kickstart your own adventure.
 Why Blockchain Got Me Hooked
As a coder, I’m all about tech that pushes boundaries, and blockchain is the real deal. It’s like a digital ledger that records every crypto transaction in a way nobody can mess with. Imagine a Google Doc that’s public, secure, and unchangeable—that’s the vibe. Bitcoin and Ethereum run on this, and the idea that I could build apps on it blew my mind. I spent a late night watching YouTube videos to get the basics, and I was hooked. I kept thinking, “How does this even work?” but the more I learned, the more it clicked. If you’re new, don’t stress about the jargon—it’s just a fancy way to keep things transparent and safe.
Tip: Start with a short “What is blockchain?” video on YouTube. Pick one under 10 minutes to keep it bite-sized and fun.
Tumblr media
Setting Up My First Crypto Wallet
I wanted to dive into cryptocurrencies, so I set up a wallet—a digital spot to store your crypto, like a bank account you control. I went with MetaMask, a browser extension that’s super beginner-friendly. Downloading it was easy, but I got nervous about security. You get a “seed phrase,” a 12-word code that’s your wallet’s master key. If you lose it or someone steals it, your crypto’s gone. I wrote mine on paper and hid it in a safe place, not my laptop. I also double-checked the MetaMask website to avoid scams—fake sites are out there, ready to trick newbies. Then, I tested it with a tiny bit of Ethereum, and seeing it in my wallet was so cool! It felt like I’d just unlocked a new level in a game.
Tip: Always verify a wallet’s official URL before downloading. If it looks fishy, it’s probably a scam.
 Navigating the Crypto Hype
The crypto world is loud—Twitter, TikTok, and forums are buzzing with “buy this coin!” vibes. I got sucked into a hype thread about a “moon coin” before realizing it was mostly noise. To stay focused, I picked a few trusted sources like CoinDesk and the Ethereum Foundation’s blog. I also joined a Discord group for crypto beginners, where folks share real tips, not just hype. It’s helping me learn without chasing every shiny promise. I spent an evening sorting through my bookmarks, and it felt good to have a plan. The key? Take it slow and stick to what makes sense.
Tip: Follow 2–3 reliable crypto websites or creators to cut through the noise. Ignore random “hot tips” for now.
 What’s Next for Me
This week was like opening a treasure map—I’m thrilled to explore more. Next, I’m digging into Bitcoin and Ethereum to understand what makes them tick. I’ll also try a small transaction with my wallet to get comfy. Crypto can feel like a lot, but it’s okay to learn bit by bit. If you’re curious, join me! Start with one video or article, and you’ll be amazed at what clicks. Got questions or tips? Drop them in the comments—I’d love to connect!

Expert WordPress Developers
You’re here because you’re stuck. Maybe your WordPress site looks like it’s from 2005. Maybe it takes forever to load. Or worse, maybe it’s just not making sales.
I get it.
You need expert WordPress developers who can do more than install a theme and slap on a few plugins. You need pros who actually know how to make WordPress work for your business. Not someone who disappears when stuff breaks.
Let’s break down what makes a real expert WordPress developer. Not just a coder. Not just a designer. A full-stack problem solver.
What Even Is an Expert WordPress Developer?
Simple:
Someone who:
Knows WordPress inside out
Writes clean, secure, custom code
Understands SEO, speed, UX, and mobile
Has business sense (this one’s rare)
They don’t just build pretty sites. They build sites that convert.
Here’s the thing — WordPress powers over 43% of the web. But most of those sites are... average. Because most developers are average.
The expert WordPress developers? They’re different. They:
Build with purpose
Fix what’s broken fast
Don’t ghost you after payday
When Should You Hire an Expert?
Here’s when it’s time to call in backup:
Your site’s slower than dial-up
You’re stuck on a theme you hate
You need custom features (but don’t know what’s possible)
You’ve hit a growth ceiling — traffic’s up, but conversions are flat
Your eCommerce store feels like a flea market
If any of that hit a nerve — cool. You’re not alone. I’ve worked with hundreds of business owners who started with drag-and-drop and DIY. Eventually, they all hit the wall.
What Expert WordPress Developers Actually Do (That Most Don’t)
Let me tell you what separates pros from dabblers:
1. Custom Themes + Plugins No cookie-cutter junk. Real experts build for your brand and your goals.
2. Performance Tuning Speed kills — or saves — your traffic. Experts squeeze every millisecond from load times.
3. Mobile-First Builds Over half of your traffic is on phones. Experts make sure your site doesn’t fall apart on mobile.
4. SEO Foundations Not the shady kind. We’re talking structured data, schema, lightning-fast code, and smart architecture.
5. E-Commerce Optimisation WooCommerce can either print money or break your business. Pros build shops that sell.
6. Security + Backups Sites get hacked. Servers crash. Experts plan for worst-case scenarios — and prevent them.
7. Scalable Builds Built to grow with you, not break when your audience triples.
Real Talk: How Much Does It Cost?
Here’s the truth:
Cheap developers cost more in the long run.
I’ve had clients come to me after dropping $500 on a site that never worked right. Ended up spending 3x that fixing it.
Expert WordPress developers charge more — and they should. You’re paying for results, not hours.
A legit expert might charge $75–$200/hr, or flat rates from $2,000–$10,000+ depending on scope.
Worth every cent if they’re driving traffic, leads, and revenue.
What to Look for When Hiring
Here’s your checklist. Print it. Screenshot it. Tattoo it on your hand.
Portfolio (look for depth, not just pretty)
Client testimonials (real ones, not “John D. from Chicago”)
Custom builds (not just Elementor clones)
Communication (do they explain things simply?)
Support plan (what happens after launch?)
Business understanding (can they tie dev work to ROI?)
Ask them:
How do you handle site speed?
What’s your backup strategy?
Can you walk me through your SEO setup?
How do you build for conversions?
If they can’t answer clearly — walk.
My Favourite Dev Stories (Yep, These Are Real)
1. The WooCommerce Fixer-Upper Client was losing $1k/day in cart abandons. Dev hadn’t set up Stripe properly. We fixed it in 30 minutes. That’s ROI.
2. The Speed Demon Site was taking 7 seconds to load. We dropped it to under 1.5. Rankings jumped. So did revenue.
3. The Frankenstein Site 12 plugins doing the same job. We stripped it down, rebuilt custom. Site ran smoother, broke less, and converted more.
Why US Businesses Need Local Talent
Look, nothing wrong with hiring overseas. But time zones and comms matter.
US-based expert WordPress developers understand:
American consumers
Local laws (ADA, GDPR if you’re global)
Payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, Square
Plus, they're awake when you are. That helps.
FAQs: Real Questions from Real Business Owners
Q: Can’t I just use a drag-and-drop builder? A: Sure. Until you need speed, SEO, custom stuff, or you break something. Then you’ll wish you hired a pro.
Q: How long does a full build take? A: Depends. Simple builds take 2–4 weeks. Complex ones can run 6–12. Always ask for timelines.
Q: What platform is best — WordPress, Shopify, Wix? A: Depends on your goals. WordPress wins for flexibility and SEO. But only with expert WordPress developers in your corner.
Q: What’s the first step if I’m interested? A: Audit your current site. Identify the pain points. Then chat with a dev who actually listens.
Final Thoughts
If your WordPress site isn’t growing your business — it’s hurting it.
You don’t need more plugins. You need expert WordPress developers.
Get the help. Make the investment. Watch what happens.

Interview with ACB CL Derek Wong on New Year 2025 and Beyond
Question: Hi Derek, we know you are the Singapore Polytechnic Banking Scholar Class Representative, MINDEF (NS) Finance Senior Payroll Coder, PAYM Treasurer and Hons Auditor, Financial Consultant, and Librarian. As a finance leader on the ground, what do you feel is the pulse of Singapore’s banking and economy?
Derek: The world is changing rapidly. The USA now has Trump serving his second term as president.
In Singapore, banking technology has evolved significantly over the years, moving from NETS to Dash, PayPal, SWIFT, PayNow, PayLah, QR payments, and more.
Bitcoin now supports credit card payments, and many teenagers and undergraduates have been advocating for cryptocurrencies for years. Despite the criticism of lacking underlying assets or backing, as pointed out by Warren Buffett, I believe that once certain technical challenges are resolved, Bitcoin and similar assets, alongside ETFs, could dominate the new financial landscape.
Question: What do you think of scams and the cybersecurity of Singapore’s banking systems?
Derek: The Singapore government and local banks have introduced the ScamShield app and implemented additional authentication checks. These are positive steps for a banking hub and a nation like Singapore.
However, I foresee local banks facing significant challenges in the coming years. Scammers are becoming more sophisticated, and their targets could expand to central banks and major financial institutions.
Interestingly, the perpetrators could range from mature primary school students (aged 9 and above) to organized cybercrime groups and even advanced cybercrime software.
Local banks should proactively prepare by forming project teams focused on three key scenarios:
1. Attack: What if a cyber team or malicious software attacks the bank?
2. Beaten: What if central bank funds or a bank’s funds are entirely stolen?
3. Correction: How should banks respond, including remedies, public announcements, and seeking Interpol's cybercrime assistance to recover from bank runs and rebuild trust?
Question: What do you think about Singapore’s banking talent, the broader Team Asia, and global finance professionals?
Derek: Singapore is facing demographic challenges, as highlighted by Elon Musk, with the risk of population decline. To counter this, we are strengthening our population by attracting top talents from across Asia.
For decades, we have nurtured talents from polytechnics, universities, and advanced finance programs like MFin, EMFin, and PhDs. However, our stock and commodities markets remain largely localized in terms of activity.
We urgently need more effective professionals to promote our markets internationally, leveraging the internet and digital marketing. Additionally, grooming local talents early and providing guided growth are crucial steps for Singapore’s future.
Question: What do you wish for Singapore’s finance and economy?
Derek: My wishes for Singapore are:
Increased focus on grooming local talents.
Encouraging more local marriages and children.
Investing in our local children.
Utilizing technology to address national challenges.
Fostering a more compassionate and loving society.
A strong emphasis on sustainability and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, working toward a fairer and more equitable world.

Lifeclock: August/September 2024
Tumblr media
This month(s) I:
Built: My first APIs to connect front and backend, frontend for an auth system, ssh database php utils in vim, a local/server cart system, a gesture handling system for blueprintstudio.ai, faust plugin to manage WC session token, finished Hildene video.
Started tracking all my reps, calories, and started a personal training plan. Lifted 18/30 days in August :)
Played: In Atlanta and Helen with Shin, at coder meetups, at a renaissance faire, at design events (lol)
I am proud of working on blueprintstudio.ai for an hour or so every day, and on weekends, to build the scroll controller! I listened to my advice from last month.
Looking at this lifeclock, I see so many sick memories from age 13 on! Music production all nighters, dj events, film production, 100 sol sun media clients, awards, photography trips, creating service design conferences, service design projects, waking up at 4am, traveling the world: mexico, puerto rico, costa rica, hong kong, japan, korea... The next years... I can't loose. :)
I'm living for me :) I don't need to care about all the noise.
Tumblr media
Yeah I need to be a tech bro for a few years. That doesn't mean I need to be SF bay area Dane. The scene is cooked. I gotta create my own. I don't know what it looks like, and don't need the answer.
Goals:
I would be more proud if I had more frequent output. More consistent small things.
Build in public: do people care? Prob yeah - and I care - I will only create what I'm excited about
Commit:
Only create what I'm excited about
3 Focuses: Learning, output, mini habits
This month (until Oct) I focus on mini outputs: 1 every other day, and content calendar

Joke song
Coders paradise by MC++ featuring snoop froggy frog
(Verse 1)
Yo, listen up, I'm the jokester on the scene,
They call me MC ++, I'm a C++ machine.
I spit lines of code, got algorithms on lock,
From STL to templates, I'm hitting the spot.
I'm looping through life like an endless array,
With pointers so sharp, I'll blow your mind away.
From classes to inheritance, I got the flow,
Like a polymorphic beat, I make it all grow.
(Chorus)
I'm MC ++, the coder supreme,
Got functions for days, livin' the programmer dream.
With syntax so tight, I'm the rap game's king,
When it comes to C++, I make the compiler sing.
(Verse 2)
I debug with finesse, ain't no bug too tough,
Catch me stack overflowin', can't get enough.
From header files to namespaces, I bring the heat,
My code so clean, it's like poetry on repeat.
I'm multi-threaded, running loops in my mind,
Optimizing algorithms, leaving haters behind.
With templates so flexible, I'm breaking the mold,
MC ++ in the house, watch my story unfold.
(Chorus)
I'm MC ++, the coder supreme,
Got functions for days, livin' the programmer dream.
With syntax so tight, I'm the rap game's king,
When it comes to C++, I make the compiler sing.
(Verse 3)
I'm object-oriented, my style is refined,
Creating classes and objects, blowing your mind.
From constructors to destructors, I'm in control,
MC ++ on the mic, I'm reaching my goal.
I'm exception handling, ain't no error too rough,
With try-catch blocks, I handle the stuff.
From standard libraries to custom designs,
MC ++ in the building, I'm crossing the lines.
(Chorus)
I'm MC ++, the coder supreme,
Got functions for days, livin' the programmer dream.
With syntax so tight, I'm the rap game's king,
When it comes to C++, I make the compiler sing.
(Bridge)
So raise your IDEs, let's make some noise,
MC ++ in the house, bringing the joys.
From OOP to STL, I'm breaking the mold,
C++ rapper extraordinaire, forever bold.
(Outro)
So here's to the programmers, the coders so bright,
Keep coding with passion, reaching new heights.
And to MC ++, the legend in the game,
Keep rapping those lines, forever the same.
