#my best friend lives across the country where i used to live because we’ve been friends since we were super young#and so a couple months ago i added him to the gc with my friends mostly from school for fun#and at that time we were dating and my friends were super chill and nice and we all talked together and everything#and then later we both mutually agreed that we’re better as friends and decided not to date romantically anymore#and i mentioned this to my friends and EMPHASIZED THAT WE WERE STILL FRIENDS and mutually agreed to this and were both really happy still#and of course their immediate reaction is ‘ok i know you’re saying you’re ok but are you actually ok?’ because of course relationships can#never end on a good note can they? of course not /s#but now my friend keeps on repeatedly removing him from the gc so of course i went to ask her about it#and she said that it was weird that my ex was in the gc#and i told her he was my best friend way before he’s my ‘ex’#and it was just ‘yeah sure but he’s still your ex’ ‘ok sure but would it be weird if i added my best friend?’ ‘no of course not’ ‘then whats#the difference’ ‘he’s your EX’#i’m just#fucking sick of it. will they all just stop stop stop saying that romantic relationships are The Peak Relationships i’m so FUCKING sick of i
