hey i don't wanna say smth controversial but u all know there are french minorities right? just wondering bc when i see those posts about "the french" it's making me raise a brow the same way i raise a brow when ppl make posts about "americans" not protesting or being "unhealthy" or whatever

#perth.txt #like if u mean only the french ppl who arent minorities just calling them french is weirdly othering of french minorities sorry!#to be jewish & french but i dont feel like very respected when ppl make those generalisations lol #good amount of french ppl sucks france has a disgusting history the french government is & has been awful & will keep being so #but still i dont think this warrants disregarding the minorities who live here under the guise of caring about them?#i dont think its a good thing to do abt any country but maybe im viewing things the wrong way #what im trying to say is being minorities (especially ethnic/racial/religious minorities) doesnt make us like. not french.#so its weird to phrase things as though it does.#idk i think wording is important generally speaking. ignore me
