The world wants to know! What are the radio demon's favorite songs? :0
"Why, thank you for finally asking! My favorite songs are Smile by Charlie Chaplin and, for something more recent, You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile from the musical Annie!"

I used to really like helluva boss. I have since the pilot first dropped. I used to try to defend it (thankfully not online) but since season 2 started I find that impossible.
Season 1 was mostly fine. Apart from episode 1 which just wasn't my cup of tea it was pretty solid, with some mistakes here and there but I was willing to overlook them because the story felt like it was going somewhere. It ended in a good cliffhanger (since they couldn't release ep8 due to copywrite issues) and I still like season 1 for the most part.
Season 2 episode 1 was my breaking point. I knew the show was a lost cause because of the childhood friends trope. It just didn't make sense. I couldn't find a way to defend it even if I tried. (Not to mention how underdeveloped all of the characters, especially the female ones are).
And then 'queen bee' happened. I wish they didn't include it in season one in the first place. I was supposed to give us closure and answers to 'Ozzie's' but instead we got nothing. Not to mention Loona was really ooc. I think that episode would have worked better if it was after 'seeing stars', Loona's character arc would make more sense and even Blitzø's behavior could be explained as building up the emotions until he exploded like he does at s01ep08 (I haven't actually watched each episode since it came out so excuse me for any mistakes I remember from the plot. I don't really plan on rewatching any of them any time soon).
I'm really sorry if I sent this again before. I tried to send it the first time but my internet was really bad and it might or might not be already actually sent. (I had to write it again from memory so, if you're seeing it a second time I'm sorry :( )
Nah, it only sent the one time, and even if it hadn't it would all be good!
You're in very good company, Anon. I think a lot of us were willing to give season 1's flaws a pass in the hopes that they were building to season 2, only to be met with...well, you saw Circus and Seeing Stars. Factor in the awful behavior of Vivzie and her fandom and here we are.
It's a damn shame, but luckily there's other shows to watch and a lot of fun to be had watching this one go off the cliff!
