had an epiphany today. i think chyrt is an icrk (bleach) analog 🧐
#i mean this in a good way like i think a lot of icrk shippers were very upset with how bleach ended#bc they thought them not ending up together romantically somehow diminished how special they were to each other#but that was never the case like kubo repeatedly established their relationship is very impt and it not being romantic doesn’t negate that#and idk i already felt that way generally about chyrt once i read the ending like#it doesn’t walk back anything they have been through or done for each other just bc it’s not romantic#but i think it would be really fun to reread with this comparison in mind like fully knowing that what they have is special in its own way#food for thought! idk why this didn’t hit me sooner i am a bit amused bc the comparison is so on the nose#tbd
