i was asked for dadzawa fic recs, so this will be a masterlist of the dadzawa fic i’ve read and enjoyed. these fics are mostly gen, and i will try to have them focus on dadzawa specifically (rather than other focuses like dadmight); this is part one but will not update regularly, but rather when i feel i have more fics to recommend.

“Wrong,” Shouta responded simply, continuing before the aghast man in front of him could spew out any more bullshit. “Look at ‘your’ kid right now,” Aizawa said, pointedly looking back towards where Izuku was trembling, surrounded by half the class and counting, all their faces displaying worry for Izuku, contempt for Hisashi, or some mixture of the two. “Look at that kid right now,” Aizawa spat at Hisashi, “And tell me he’s still yours.”

Aizawa's heart has always been hopelessly big for those who needed help. Growing up taught him how to obscure that fact to protect himself after a few hard lessons but he never gives up. A parent's love is to be trampled on time and again but always ready to help. He didn't begrudge not having a marked parent of his own- well, outside Nedzu in his own odd way- maybe it even made him determined enough to deserve the twenty one child marks on his back.

If only he didn't have to get his hopes up every year he teaches a new class at UA. Maybe... Maybe this year he'd at least find one of them. Right?

“You’re with Hitoshi and I, got it?” Midoriya frowns and knits his brow, chewing at his bottom lip.

“Y-Yes sensei,” he nods. “But...why?” Hitoshi tilts his head and hums thoughtfully. So Midoriya didn’t ask to join them?

“Because I have no intention of sending you into this mall without being able to keep an eye on you,” Aizawa says firmly, with purpose. Hitoshi is confused, and then it suddenly hits him, and he feels like an utter dumbass.

They’re at the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall.

They really do need a break. Something fun, something away from U.A. and the dorms and the pressure...So as out of character as it is, he’s glad that his guardian decided to go along with the trip.

Although, he worries that Aizawa may not agree to something like this again if Hitoshi gets away with what he has planned. But really, it’s the perfect opportunity. It’s the beach, and it’s beautiful out, and Hitoshi is head over heels for Midoriya Izuku, and he’s going to tell him today.

What was supposed to be a fun little trip to the mall (for snacks and drinks for an upcoming movie night) takes a sour turn when Kaminari comes out of the restroom to find that the omega with him isn't waiting for him. He searches, he asked around - Izuku's just gone. All that's left that could prove that Izuku was with him at all is their abandoned bag of groceries.

Three guesses as to what happened to him, though I guarantee everyone will probably guess correctly with one.

Now the question is...can Izuku be retrieved from wherever he is before any permanent damage is done?
