[strums guitar] i was hoping you would send one in bc i wanted to wax poetic about ur stuff so here we go. if none of this makes sense it’s because i was so caught up with how nice ur stuff is that i just lost all coherency. ♥ - whenever i look at this edit (which is often) i wanna CRY because it’s SO PRETTY. i know like a whole of 3 things about photoshop. and one of those things is that it can be an absolute pain in the ass to like cut/erase the background from an image and make it into a vector/png. so when i see how CLEAN and CRISP all of the dk images are i’m just. i get emotional. like even the outline of his hair is just? perfect? it’s so clean? wow.. the talent.... that aside, i love how balanced this set is. the typography.. font choice!! placement!! layering!! it really captures the energy of “just do it!” the “i’m gonna fly” strip IS SO CUTE I CANNOT GET OVER IT. it reminds me of the like ribbon logo svt used during ymmd era. the shapes and elements in the bg are.. so cute.. it gives it like a lot of structure, like it makes ur eyes look thru the image in a way that makes so much sense, while also giving it a sense of whimsicality and fun. ALSO THE COLORS!! that red and purple work so well together. ♥ - i think i saw ur edit before i saw the actual photoshoot this came from, and i remember being totally floored when i saw how u cleaned up the photos. AND ON TOP OF THAT THE SUNFLOWERS HE’S HOLDING IN UR EDIT WASN’T IN THE ACTUAL PHOTOSHOOT? YOU EDITED THOSE IN?????? AND WAIT THAT FIRST FLOWER WITH THE PETALS WAS MULTIPLE PHOTOS AND UR TELLING ME U CUT THEM OUT THAT CLEANLY AND PUT THEM INTO THIS EDIT? IT WASN’T ALL FROM ONE PHOTO? it was a rollercoaster of emotions.. it still is.. and again!! the placement of all the elements just make so much sense. ur eyes go from the polaroids, to the flower, to the petals, down the lines, to the newspaper clipping (luv the jeonghan/seungkwan cameo) to seokmin, to the sunflowers in his hands, and finally to the writing. it’s just like.. got everything i luv in an edit yknow... ♥ - I LOVE THE INSTAGRAM INSPIRED POSTS YOU’VE MADE i’m gonna plug this one bc i can but i also love the seungcheol in caratland one too. i’m a sucker for gradients esp when they progress vertically like this one. i love how dynamic this set feels with the moving text, the gif thumbnails, the hearts!!, and the ig story/progress bar. and like even tho it’s based off of ig’s layout, it feels SO fresh because of how you made like the backgrounds transparent and also the way jieqiong in the 3rd picture isn’t constrained to the actual square on the post. it’s sooooooooooo much fun to look at this one. ♥ - this :( reminds me of how i feel when i first watched svt’s “oh my” mv. it’s like summer but before the really hot weather hits! i am in love with the way the clouds blend into the bg in the first and third pic. i love the colors (i am a huge sucker for peach colors!!) and omg the middle picture!!! with three boos with the BLUSHES and the circle background colors following a gradient too... sexy. LOOOVE the line art halo you put around seungkwan on the third pic and again the way the elements in the bg guide you through the picture in a logical way that allows you to see everything you should.. it’s really good. (i think that was a concept i had learned about in an art history class but can’t for the life of me remember the term.) ♥ - SM WISHES THEY HAD SOMEONE AS GOOD AS AMY DOING THEIR ALBUM SPREADS i reallllly love the use of the negative space in this set and i love how the texture you used really makes it feel like a canvas print. LOVE THE WAY the circles you placed make the set feel really cohesive (the ampersand on the circle in the second pic is such a cute touch??) like. the circles in the second and third picture really do such a great job of emphasizing the subject (goodest boy mark lee) like. ESPECIALLY THE THIRD PIC bc the black circle really brings out his eyes and like.. grabs the audience. also the way it looks like he’s holding the flower!! SUCH A NICE TOUCH. and i once again am in awe that that camera wasn’t actually in the original photo of mark and that you edited in..... effervescent ♥ - bonus i couldn’t help adding this one because i love junhui and dating sims are one of my hugest guilty pleasures LMAO
