I'm finally doing character analysis stuff for my nano and this alone got me REALLY hype about these characters and how they fit together
#love the realization that ramona and jackie have mom issues and low self esteem#but ramona's issues come out via being distant and too cool to care#because she doesnt expect to be enough for people or for people to actually care/like her#and jackie's come out through being a fixer mom friend whos worth relies on being easy and being helpful#but theyre both unwilling/unable to talk about feelings#put other people above themselves#and they're reversed#so ramona is outwardly cool chill and kinda cocky with a secret vulnerable caring side she's afraid of#and jackie is outwardly quiet & caring while inwardly bouncing off the walls and dying to be bold and selfish and terrified of that#personal#double cyrano
