Leaf roller caterpillar (Parotis Marginata); these little ones love to feed on gardenia (Ananta) leaves until they are ready to pupate, then they curl up a leaf around themselves, seal it with silk of course, and emerge as little matt green moths about 10 days later. And by "love to feed" I mean they have the capacity to absolutely annihilate their host plant! The picture was taken in October last year when they had eaten off 98% of leaves from a gardenia hedge that stretches for about 10 meters, the only parts that weren't eaten were the hard stems and the minute new shoots.
