Honestly if Cara and Yaupé were to get their own GOA shorts, they’d probably be really silly kid friendly ones because they deserve cute little slice of life jedi adventures to distract themselves from the war 😭

Ich hatte einen wunderschönen letzten Abend mit Mum in Frankfurt. Sie ist einfach die Allerbeste. Was hab ich für ein Glück so eine warmherzige Sonnenmama zu haben mit der ich über alles reden kann wie eine beste Freundin? Wir haben uns noch einen saftigen Veggie Döner mit Pommes im Hotelzimmer gegönnt (oder wie mein Bruder und seine Freundin sagen würden : "neigfahrn"😂). Bisschen gequatscht, einen Prayer nach oben gesendet und uns umarmt. 🩷

Ich hab super geschlafen. Der Wecker klingelte früh und nach einem kurzen Frühstück gings zu Fuß rüber zum Flughafen.

Das Wetter war sehr ausladend. Es regnete in Strömen und ein kalter Wind blies mir um die Ohren. Als ob mich Deutschland mit einer Schneeschaufel aus dem Land schaufeln wollte 😂 Aber dagegen hatte ich nichts.

Um die Zeit, ein random Donnerstag Anfang November, fliegt eh kein Mensch, dacht ich mir. Wird nicht viel los sein. Recht hatte ich. Bei Qatar Airways kurz mein Visum abgegeben, eingecheckt und schon gings zum Baggage drop off. Time to say goodbye to mum 🥲 ich werde sie so vermissen, sie riecht immer so herzig und warm nach Bodylotion und Mama. Sie geht davon und ich bin dankbar.

Auch beim baggage drop off klappt alles super. Ich gehe noch ein paar Schritte und nach einer kurzen Wartezeit geht's ab ins Flugzeug. 10:00 Start.

Die 6h Flug bis nach Doha, Qatar sind super entspannt. Die paar Turbulenzen beim Start meisterte ich erfolgreich mit 00er PopPunk (Sum41.. Mein 11 jähriges ich wäre stolz auf mich 🤘🏼)und Atemübungen .Am liebsten hätte ich aber die Hand meiner Nachbarin genommen 😂

Der Flughafen in Qatar ist sehr fancy, aber richtig wohl gefühlt hab ich mich dort irgendwie nicht. Wir sind mit dem kleinen Flugfeldbus an einer großen Baustelle vorbeigefahren wo ich an die Billigarbeitskräfte die oft so schreckliche Bedingungen haben denken musste. Direkt daneben das luxuriöse Flughafengebäude.. Ungleichheit macht mich immer sauer.

Auch den Anschlussflug nach Goa erwische ich ohne Probleme. Das Essen bei Qatar Airways ist echt mega für Flugzeugessen. (Veggie versteht sich 😛)

Bin jetzt jedenfalls in Goa im Taxi vom Flughafen ins Hostel. Ich wusste gar nicht dass die Fahrt 1,5h dauert. Ohne Internet schreib ich da am besten mal meinen ersten Tagebucheintrag. Sorry wenn er etwas oversharing geworden ist. Ich hab halt grad kein Internet, was soll ich da als Minnenial machen 😛 ich denke die nächsten Einträge werden kürzer und knackiger.

Erster Eindruck von Goa: die Leute sind lieb. Es ist heiß. Der Südostasien Flair lässt direkt mein Herz aufgehen, kleine Holzhüttenstände die (tagsüber, jetzt ist natürlich alles zu)frische

Früchte, Shakes oder irgendein Handyzeug verkaufen. Straßenhunde🐶🩷 überall sind Kühe auf der Straße. Die dürfen nicht vertrieben werden da sie hier heilig sind 🐮🤍

ich bin so happy nach 5 Jahren endlich wieder in Asien zu sein 🐝

Jetzt freu ich mich aufs Hostel und für die erste Nacht hab ich mir ein Privatzimmer gegönnt 😇

💚As many of you know I was going through a lot emotionally and physically before this big trip to India. 🏝I booked it with the intention of treating myself after a challenging Spring, Summer and I didn’t know then that winter would be added to that list. 👛I went because I needed a tremendous shift and a shift is what I got. 🐟I was like a fish out of water. My sensitivity was heightened as if I was brand new to the world. A completely new time zone, people, smells, sights… it was other worldly. 🤷🏽‍♀️I went through stages: “Wow this is so great!-Why am I so anxious?-What did I get myself into?!!-Why does everything take so long here?-Can I buy all the scarfs?--To finally settling in. 🌴Any time I could get I was grounding. There was so much information at every second. @joanhymanschoolofyoga pushed us and shared valuable information not only about the topics but personal experiences which made her relatable and approachable. Her dedication to this practice is inspiring. On top of that the town gushes with culture in every corner. A lot to take in. 😝I tried so hard to maintain my rituals until I couldn’t keep up. I was running out of time and I finally surrendered. I stopped wearing sports bras a couple of times, wearing lotion or caring about how my hair looked. It felt like I was rebelling against capitalism, the patriarchy and all the unnecessary conditioning. ✈️Oddly enough when arriving I was so scared of the chaos. I felt I needed structure and containment. The Gemini #Vata #pitta #manifestinggenerator nature of me needs it. Or so she thought. 😮‍💨I saw my wounds and shadows show up often on this trip and I almost couldn’t handle it. However I gave myself compassion and grace. I remembered that I’m different and that’s what makes me, me. 🥰I had to go back to my solitude and connect back to Mother Earth. Bringing it all back to me because at the end of the day, I am all I have. 🍄I miss the chaos, the noise as odd as that sounds coming from me, the colors, smells, community, love, connection, land, laughter, my Indian family…. i am so sorry for answering this after AGES.

📜: I'll tell you an incident that happened to me

Okay so this is the story of HOW I GOT MY REVENGE

Okay. Not REVENGE revenge. But yeah.

So basically my dad and I love the same things, so he eats my share of treats and sweets ALL THE TIME. Be it chocolate or kalakand or whatever, you get the point. The thing is, he is more of a "gobble,gobble I must finish it now" eater, while i am a "nibble,nibble I will eat some now and keep some for later so that i can cherish this" eater.

Now, we both are CRAZY about milk powder, and my mom got a jar of it one day and he ate the WHOLE FRICKIN THING when I was in school. I was so gutted when I saw the empty jar, while my dad giggled.

So, I got another jar of milk powder, and hid it in a container, which I kept in ANOTHER container, which I hid in a cabinet in the kitchen. (My mom promised to cooperate). Everyday, I went to the cabinet and opened the layers of security and ate two spoonfuls of milk powder, and closed everything. Then I would casually walk to my dad and ask him how his day was going, and as he would tell me, my eyes would sparkle with glee coz he didn't know a thing.

Vor ca. 1,5 Wochen bin ich von Vagator weiter nördlich nach Arambol weitergezogen. Dort hab ich meine Freundin Annika getroffen welche mich für 2 Wochen besucht. Dort ist es nochmal deutlich touristischer und besonders viele russische Touristen sind dort zu finden. Wir hatten dort eine tolle Zeit,waren am Strand, haben bei einem Sound Healing Angebot unter einem 400 Jahre altem Baum mitgemacht, haben lecker gegessen und einfach die Zeit gemeinsam genossen. Wir haben uns einen Scooter ausgeliehen und haben damit verschiedene Strände erkundet.

Nach ca 5 Tagen ging es weiter südlich nach Morjim, wo wir eine der berühmten Psytrance Partys besuchten. Direkt am Strand mit all den schönen Lichtern und der kosmischen Musik war das ein tolles Erlebnis. Seit gestern sind wir nun in Süd Goa, Palolem. Hier ist alles sehr viel ruhiger, entspannter und es kommen viele Menschen her zum yoga machen. Wir haben uns ein kleines süßes Bungalow am Strand gemietet 🪷 heute haben wir einen hinduisischen Tempel besucht welcher sehr magisch war 🕉️

Jeden Tag machen mich all die Kühe am Strand und auf der Straße sehr glücklich 🐮🌙 genauso wie die leckeren exotischen Früchte 💚
