“I know you will. And I know you’ll succeed too,” Detlev grinned, leaning in to kiss his soon to be even though technically he wasn’t supposed to for another few moments and a cue from the officiant. As the players of the Falmouth Falcons, both new and old, milled around the pitch, adjusting their gear and getting ready for the intensive practice ahead, Detlev approached the new but still familiar teammate among the ranks.

“Broadmoor! Good to see you here,” Detlev approached Nash with a hand extended to clap together with his, more in a gesture of solidarity than an actual shake.

“What are the odds of us ending up on the same team after all those years trying to knock each other off our game, huh?” He chuckled, truly light heartedly despite how fiercely they trained to outdo one another’s strategies back in the day.
