“Not chasing after papers today are you? Well that’s a relief.” He stated dryly as he came across the woman. “That should mean you don’t have me helping you collect them this time because they are important.”

“Here, I felt it was about time that I returned the food favour.” Gwen suspected that Bea had probably been run off her feet with everything that had been happening lately and when that happened, she’d learned that people didn’t tend to take care of themselves. “A hot meal to take away...” She stated, setting it down in front of the woman. “That’s presuming you haven’t already eaten anyway. I just thought I’d chance it.” Because she’d just turned up to the hospital and hoped for the best really.

“You really need to stop looking at me like that or I’m going to leave you here on your own.” Aaron couldn’t help but grumble a little, arms folded across his chest somewhat uncomfortably at the attention. “Seriously, it’s not like I chose this for myself.”

“If there was a face I wasn’t expecting to find around here it’d be yours.” Aaron commented easily as he fell into place beside the woman as the fireworks lit the sky above. Considering he hadn’t drank anything, he was feeling considerably at ease.
