The fight between writing in german bc the formal and informal you allow for more subtle power play in conversation and writing in english because it has more detailed words for the 18th century dress.

#On the one hand sie and du and especially with nobility using 3rd person informal to their face hits different if the person spoken to has #to answer in 2nd person formal like its so good #But also the word Mantua-maker means nothing to the germans its jsut also tailor eventhough its such a different thing and stays you could #call them Mieder but then again that has other modern connotaitions and medieval connotations so it will be just be Korsett corset #gonna use a lot of french fashion terms simply bc the german language isn‘t detailed enough
