The last person that Teagan had expected to hear anything from on the worst day of her life was Callum Jackson. She'd picked up the phone expecting it to be just another spam call - she'd been getting a ton of those recently - or a call for someone to book a party event when she'd heard Callum's voice on the other end, distraught as he was explaining what had happened to her father. A man that Callum had once been close to as he'd been a big part of Teagan's life just five years ago; but Teagan didn't care. Nearly just as quickly as she'd registered what was happening, Teagan was arriving in East Haven less than twenty four hours later, and while she'd been flooded with information of what had happened, she didn't realize until a few weeks later that she'd never properly thanked Callum. Sure, she'd thanked him, but Teagan had never been a 'half way' kind of person, and she wanted to remember to make it up to him. Today wasn't her usual schedule, but she was feeling a little pick me up, which she'd always seemed to find in baked goods. She was standing in line, scanning the menu for what kind of pastries she wanted to fill in her 'build a box' that she was planning to buy and out of the corner of her eye she could see Callum sitting at a table. Trying her best to ignore him - she didn't want him to see what she was planning - she ordered her pastries and made her way to his table. Offering him a small smile as she placed the box on the table - an individual box on top - she looked over at him. "I realize that I never told you thank you." she admitted. "Not properly anyways." she nodded, looking back at him. She opened the box and handed him the empty smaller box. "You should remember that one of my love languages is food and giving; take as many as you want. As a thank you for all the hard work you did for dad."

"Well, if it isn't my two favorite people I see!" Thea smiled, watching as she'd spotted Callum and his daughter Avie in the distance. Callum and Thea had built quite the bond years ago when they were online pen pals, and while it had taken a lot for Thea to open up back then, Callum had gotten her to do so in nearly no time. So, with that being said, she often times found herself clinging to Callum and the comfort he and his daughter gave him, especially in the recent months when she'd needed the extra push to get out of the house sometimes. Watching as the two interacted, Thea smiled, taking a step towards them and watched. "Mind if I intrude? Last one to the slide has to pick the lunch spot!" she laughed before she took off towards the slide in slow motion.

There were very few aspects of her job that Cali didn't like. Sure, she could do without smelling like fish every second she was in her wetsuit, but as she watched her favourite bottlenose dolphin, Mystic, whizz past her, it more than made up for it. "Okay Avie, you ready?" Blowing on her whistle, Cali smiled around the metal as the dolphin immediately made a beeline for them. Reaching behind her and into the bucket of fish, Cali tossed one to Mystic before handing the other to the little girl. "Just toss it in when she opens her mouth and then you can rub her nose."
As much as Cali selfishly loved being with the animals, watching the children she considered family enjoy the perks of her job just made her heart feel that bit warmer. As Avie fed the dolphin, Cali glanced over at Callum, nodding towards the pool of water. "I don't let just anyone come and feed my favourite dolphin, you better get over here before she gets bored of me."

Location: Luther's Starter for: @papaflynn
It was the next logical step to heal. If she was truly going to close the door on the heartbreak over her long deceased relationship, she had to at least try and move on. When she had discussed it with her therapist, it had seemed easy. All she had to do was go to dinner with somebody, something she did regularly anyway but now that the word 'date' had been tagged onto it, she couldn't quite stop her palms from getting clammy.
She'd walked to Luther's from the shop and as she stood outside, she quickly wiped her hands together to try and rid them of the evidence of her nerves. "You can do this." With a few more deep breaths, she opened the door and looked around, only having vague memories of the picture her friend had showed her before she'd set the blind date up. It only took her a few seconds to find someone that looked somewhat familiar and before she could second guess herself, she walked over to him. "Callum?"

event: The Wagner Wedding with: Callum Jackson ( @callum-jackson )
The party was going well, and the food table looked good. Although the guests had been fed at dinner, the timing meant that there would still be many hours into the night for partying, so the people needed snacks. Looking over the table, Roman tasted a couple of things, thinking about whether Luciana needed a hand back at the kitchen, as she'd very generously offered to keep an eye on things. He turned, coming face to face with Andrew's older brother, Callum.
"Oh, Callum. Hey. How are you doing?" Roman asked, surprised, but recovering and offering his hand for Callum to shake in greeting.

Location: Providence Peak Memorial Hospital Closed starter for: @calgdryden
“You’re a doctor, of course you’re good with people!” Looking over at colleague, Jiya simply shook her head. “I’m good with patients, asking people for money, yeah, no, not happening, can’t do it.” Shaking her head, Jiya blew out a breath and took a decent sized gulp of her champagne. If she didn’t get it together, she’d never secure a donation to her department. “Okay, fine, I’m going. Who am I talking to?” Scanning the room as her colleague pointed to a tall, blonde man on the other side of the room, Jiya nodded. “Just a normal conversation, I got this.”
Smoothing her dress down as she walked across the room of the marquee that had been erected just outside of the hospital, Jiya smiled as she reached the man, holding her hand out. “I know it’s a hospital fundraiser but surely it’s more fun than you look like you’re having? I haven’t seen you around before so I’m guessing you’re not a doctor? Jiya Padyar, nice to meet you.”
