The Best Feng Shui Bedroom Layout vs Living Room Layouts
When it comes to creating a balanced and harmonious home, Feng Shui offers timeless guidance—especially in two key spaces: the bedroom and the living room. The ideal Feng Shui bedroom layout promotes rest and intimacy. Your bed should be placed in the ā€œcommand positionā€ā€”diagonally across from the door but not directly in line with it. Avoid placing the bed under a window or directly opposite a mirror, as this can disturb restful energy.
On the other hand, the Feng Shui living room layout is all about flow and connection. Seating should encourage conversation, ideally in a circular or U-shape arrangement. Keep pathways clear to promote good energy circulation, and use natural elements like wood, plants, and soft lighting to enhance balance.
In essence, your bedroom should feel calm and secure, while your living room should feel open and inviting. By aligning each space with Feng Shui principles, you can create a home that nurtures both your body and spirit. Read More: https://multihomedecor.com/

Midnight, January 1st, 2025. A new year hums in the electricity of the atmosphere as vibrant fireworks ignite the night sky. Optimism lingers in the air—it swirls like a plume of smoke, slipping into my pores, soft as silk and sweet as honey.
As I sift through old photos to create my vision board, I pause to admire the ones that never saw the light of day yet hold so much beauty in their quiet stories. This year, 2025, is about embracing more—more poems, more photos, more candid moments, more adventures, and above all, more love.
The theme for 2025 is soft living, peaceful living, slow living, and mindful living. It's about savoring the present and deepening connections with my family and friends. These moments of joy and presence are what matter most.
Here are a few snippets from the archive. I can't wait to dig deeper into the vault and share old and new moments with you.

Introvert Life Hack: How to Build a Calm Space to Recharge
November 26, 2024Ā byĀ Lou
Picture this: You’ve had one of those days.
The kind where the world feels too loud, the people too much, and all you want is a moment to breathe.
Now imagine walking into a corner of your home, your little sanctuary, where everything feels just right. It’s quiet. It’s cozy.
And best of all, it’s yours. For introverts, a space like this isn’t a luxury—it’s a lifeline. It’s where we recharge, regroup, and find peace when life gets overwhelming.
But here’s the thing: creating this space isn’t about having a big budget or a fancy setup. It’s about crafting an environment that feels like a warm hug after a long day.
So, let’s dive into how you can create your very own introvert-friendly calm space. Spoiler alert: it’s easier than you think.
1. Find Your Quiet Corner
Every great calm space starts with location, location, location.
Look around your home and pick a spot that feels right. It could be a nook by the window, a corner of your bedroom, or even a section of your living room.
The key is choosing a place where you can retreat without interruptions. Think of it as your personal ā€œDo Not Disturbā€ zone.
Now, if you’re thinking, ā€œBut my home is too small!ā€ā€”don’t worry.
Even a small space can work wonders.
A comfy chair tucked in the corner or a tiny desk with a cozy lamp can be all you need. The size doesn’t matter as much as how the space makes you feel.
2. Create a Mood That Feels Like You
Once you’ve chosen your spot, it’s time to set the mood. This is where you make the space uniquely yours.
Start with lighting. Harsh overhead lights? No, thank you.
Go for soft, warm lighting instead. A simple table lamp, fairy lights, or even candles (if you’re into that) can transform your space into a cozy haven.
Next, think about colors.
Calming tones like blues, greens, or neutrals can help create a soothing vibe.
Or maybe you prefer a pop of color to brighten your mood. Whatever works for you, lean into it.Ā
This is your space, and it should reflect what makes you feel good.
3. Surround Yourself with Comfort
Let’s talk about comfort. Because let’s face it, if your calm space isn’t comfortable, it’s not going to feel very calming.
Start with seating. A chair that feels like it’s hugging you? Yes, please.
Throw in some pillows, a soft blanket, or even a bean bag if that’s your thing. And don’t forget your feet—a plush rug can make a world of difference.
But comfort isn’t just about physical things. It’s also about the vibe.
If you love music, consider a small speaker or headphones for playing your favorite calming tunes.
Or maybe silence is your thing—in that case, make sure your space is far from noisy distractions.
4. Add Personal Touches
This step is all about making the space yours. Think of it as decorating your happy place.
What makes you feel calm and happy? Books? Add a small stack of your favorites.
Plants? A little greenery can bring life to your space (bonus points if the plant is low-maintenance).
Photos? Put up a few that make you smile.
You could even add a small piece of art or a sign with a quote that resonates with you.Ā
Something like ā€œIntrovert at Restā€ or ā€œRecharge in Progressā€ could be a fun, lighthearted touch.Ā
The goal is to make the space feel like an extension of you.
5. Keep It Simple and Clutter-Free
Here’s the thing: clutter is the enemy of calm. When your space is filled with stuff, it’s hard to relax.
So, keep things simple. Only include what you truly need or love.
And if you’re someone who struggles with keeping things tidy (no judgment here), consider a small basket or bin to toss things into when the mess starts creeping in.
This doesn’t mean your space has to be minimalist.
It just means it should feel manageable.
The fewer distractions, the easier it will be to focus on what matters—recharging your introverted soul.
6. Set Boundaries for Your Space
This one’s important. Your calm space is your sanctuary, and it deserves to be treated as such.Ā
Let the people in your life know that this is your recharging zone. A simple conversation can go a long way.
Something like, ā€œThis is where I go when I need a little quiet time. I’d appreciate it if you could give me that space when I’m here.ā€
And if you live with people who don’t quite get the whole ā€œintrovert needs alone timeā€ thing, maybe add a little humor.
ā€œIf I’m in this spot, assume I’m invisible. Unless you have snacks. Snacks are always welcome.ā€
7. Use It for What You Love
Finally, make sure your calm space is a place you actually want to use.
This might sound obvious, but it’s worth mentioning. Fill it with things you enjoy doing.
Into journaling? Set up a small table or lap desk. Need to zone out? Add a comfy chair where you can just sit and think.
The point is to make the space functional and inviting. It’s not just about how it looks—it’s about how it feels and what it allows you to do.
When life feels like too much, your calm space will be there for you.
It’s more than just a corner of your home—it’s a corner of your world where you can truly be yourself.
Take the time to design, adjust, and truly make it your own. Every introvert deserves a space that feels like a deep, soothing breath at the end of a busy day.
