heres a fun tip: reread hnk! if you read it once, great! now read it again!

hnk isn’t a manga that can be read only once, to fully comprehend it you’d have to reread it. You will miss certain foreshadowing/details in the first run, and even if it physically hurts to reread it (i know that feel) you should!

I am aware that the hiatus did set off a few things like the pacing (pacing was fast and sudden even before the hiatus, we just felt it more because of the long break), and a lot of things are left unexplored because of a shift in writing and storytelling OR they were addressed in the UNTRANSLATED Party at The End, as the bonus booklets help with additional character exploration, lore, and world building

You know, sometimes I think - like, really think - about that fact that I helped pull together a fanzine for the best part of three years. And people apparently liked it??? That's completely potty.

i will stand my ground on my love of MANIA forever tbh. it’s the most experimental for sure, but also the most creatively and lyrically focused of all the post hiatus albums (imo). and it pays off! those songs as a collection tell a really emotionally compelling story and it speaks volumes to me. pete’s songwriting quality on MANIA harkens back to folie in some ways. his lyricism comes through so clearly. patrick’s vocals are so spot on. stay frosty as an opener and bishop’s knife trick as a closer opens the album up for so much emotional progression through the tracklist too. leaves lots of room for reflection on the concept of mania (and the experience of bipolar disorder at large). like…i could go on. great cohesive work of art.

I can totally see Kazuha gently squeezing your thigh when you sit beside each other, or just resting his hand on ur leg or drawing circles into your skin that make you have to stifle a laugh bc its so goddamn ticklish !! Kazuha also seems the type to enjoy you legs in thigh highs yk? Like, I dunno abt y’all but imagine putting the socks on and striking a pose— maybe extending  your leg in the air or smthn like that, and asking if it looks okay, bc you genuinely want to know if he thinks it looks good on you. No ulterior motives or anything, just you being excited and happy about your new fashion discovery. And man, the way that Kazuha’s brain just whole blanks out and his mouth runs dry because you??? In those thigh-highs??? With the color and the fabric and the stretch (bro the stretch !!) just making your thighs look sooo attractive just kinda melts his mind for a second and he whole just blinks at you while you wait for his response because he’s literally no thoughts head empty just thinking about your thighs <3

Also soft fluffy side note I can vv much imagine Kazuha laying on your lap while you read or talk or do anything, and he’s so comfy resting on your thighs, occasionally rubbing his temples against ur thighs like a big ass cat or something, so content to just rest against one of his fave parts of ur body, all relaxed and happy in ur presence.
