He is a 2nd generation Chicano from Chicago, IL.

Lives in Pilsen and loves to take pics of the murals and post them on insta. He also always sends them beforehand in the groupchat (the one he has with Guang Hong, Phichit, and Yuuri) and always takes the time to explain the art and historical references in them.

Always shows Phichit and Yuuri around the city whenever they visit him. The first time they visit he shows them all the tourist stops (at Phichit’s request). The next few times he shows them his personal favorite spots and takes them to try REAL Mexican food and not the fake chain stuff (his words not mine).

Randomly rides the L with his noise canceling headphones whenever he wants some time to think. Also likes to pretend he’s the main character and stare dramatically out the train window.

Bisexual king.

 Likes to brings a bag full of an assortment of different Mexican candies and snacks to share with the other skaters after their competition ends.

He always lets Guang Hong get first pick whenever they see each other. Guang Hong ALWAYS goes for the obleas or the cajeta lollipops since he has a sweet tooth.

Leo and Guang Hong will regularly go on Instagram/Youtube lives together whenever they can and their fans love it. If they’re in competitions together they will feature random skaters. Phichit is a recurring guest. 

He and Yuuri will occasionally stream video games together during the off season.

Has an older brother and two younger sisters who adore him. They try to make every competition they can and make him embarrassingly cute homemade banners. He pretends to be embarrassed/annoyed by them but keeps every single one they’ve ever made.

Plays guitar, piano, and the drums!!

Loves music but hates music snobs!! Everyone always assumes he is one which annoys him

Will constantly go on long rants about how music is subjective and how people should just listen to what they genuinely enjoy and makes them happy without shame.

Makes personalized playlist for his friends with music he thinks they would like. Spends extra time making Guang Hong his cause he wants it to be perfect.

Expresses his feelings through music. He’s not the best with words so whenever there’s a feeling or thought he wants to express he’ll do it by playing a particular song or even writing his own.

Tries to confess his crush on Guang Hong by sending him love songs but it backfires because Guang Hong is oblivious so he doesn’t catch on to what he’s trying to say.

This goes on for months. Guang Hong secretly compiles all the songs anyways and one day casually mentions this to Phichit. When Phichit examines the list of songs, he sighs very loudly and internally screams. Why do all of his friends have to be pining oblivious losers, he wonders.

His parents have bookshelf filled with all his school and skating awards. They frame his gold medal from Skate America since its the first medal he earned at the senior level. 

They keep it in the living room where everyone who enters their home can see it and always boast about it to anyone who asks.
