Steven: honestly they were fairly calm... spinel was a tad clingy but I'm glad they have been with me for as long as they did. Pearl told me their story and why they were with me. I'm just glad they got a to be my new family.

Pearl: "I'm Pearl...green Pearl specifically because there are other pearls...the gem hugging you is spinel. Also green specifically for the same reason."

Spinel: "Hello there."

Steven: "hi...I'm Steven and I'm sorry for screaming earlier but why are you two here?"

Pearl: "We have been here for a few years...9 to be exact. We are the reason you're well fed and kept safe during the nights. See, your mom fell in love with an earthling named...what was his name...."

Spinel: "I believe it was Greg."

Pearl: "Thank you Spinel. Well when she made you she gave up her life for you. We were given a special device that gave us a warp straight to the nearest warp pad to you but it took us a few years and we found you in a crashed van and also your late father...we of course knew you'd be half human and that humans needed liquids to survive so we gathered as much as we could for your developmental stage and raised you secretly from then onwards because Spinel wanted to play hide and seek with you."

Spinel: "I'm counting this as a win for us all. You for finding us and a win for us because we hid for 9 years."

#canonask; Steven, what kind of music do you like to listen to?

Steven: "I don't have a direct taste in music as I listen to everything. Though if I had to pick a specific song to be my favorite to give a semblance of an answer to your question, I'd have to say Brave Heart from the Digimon series...so if soundtrack is a music genre/type of music then that's a pretty good description."

Steve , Pearl, Spinel : have you guys been enjoying this weather lately ?

Steven: "getting a bit nippy for me but yeah it's nice"

Pearl: "and me and Spinel aren't affected by weather temperatures so we don't do much."

Spinel: "but we are a little weird in that we do change our outfits in slight ways like me doing a scarf or pearl changing in general."

Spinel: I love that he enjoys it so much

Pearl: he does seem to be very well educated to be able to track it so well so I approve.

Askgreensteven what are you guys going to dress up for Halloween ?

(mod: idk what I'll be doing for it as I'm not exactly positive I'll do a holiday themed thing for this. Especially in story. (Sorry bro) But if this post gets 5 likes in the notes this will be the answer. Reason why is because design wise they match fairly well)

Steven: "I'll probably take them to a costume party. I'd be dressed up like a munchlax or Snorlax, I'd probably have pearl dress up as mega Gardevoir, and have Spinel dress up as kirlia."

#canonask Spinel, how did you first meet Green Diamond?

Spinel: that was such a perfect day in the heartlands. Not only was I made for her but I felt like it too. And I mean that in a loving way. She was super sweet to me. And her pearl was amazing too.

Pearl: "I don't like how bad some humans are to each other."

Spinel: "When anyone I can immediately help is sad."

Steven: "Hawaiian pizza"

Steven: "Pearl doesn't like food but she's helped me recently when I've done so."

Pearl: "Fire safety is important, friends."

#canonask What are you most afraid of, Pearl?

Pearl: Losing Steven or Spinel primarily. Though if you mean more common fears like arachnophobia, then I have none.

#canonask Pearl, what do you think your and Spinel's fusion would be like?

Pearl: Definitely I'd think that concept would be an interesting one. Firstly it's going to be of because of where our gem placement would be, and secondly I don't even know what we'd be like with a merged personality.

(mod: opal but with more amethyst shining through than pearl since Spinel would definitely be the more dominant personality.)

Pearl: "I'm not exactly proud to admit this but as we had no money I took the food while Spinel distracted everyone."
