HEHEHE ABSOLUTELY!! I have a lot of Itchy stuff on the back-burner I'd be happy to talk about while I doodle up new Winter stuff! :D I actually have MORE itchy art/lore than Winter lore surprisingly it's just... really scattered and needs a lot of explaining dhsghfdsja... but we'll disperse it in small chunks...

This is his current main ref (kinda wanna update it tho bc there's some things about it that I don't like anymore).

Aaaaaaand a little bit of info I can give on him:

After the events of the failed ritual, this Simon is no longer human, but he's also not aware of this. He's a cosmic entity behaving like a human-shaped portal. Very in-tune with time and space and super sensitive to it's changes and flows.

Is made of a VERY powerful energy and suffers from MMS again. However, because he clings to his sanity as an anchor, his usable magic is limited (needs magitech to access most of it).

He's not glitching 24/7, although it takes him effort to keep himself from glitching. Physical pain and mental/emotional stress will cause him to lose stability.

He can time-travel AND universe hop, but hasn't figured out how to control the destination. If he glitches too hard, he will go full portal mode and teleport into a random universe and a random time period (if you touch him, you will teleport with him).

Has "future memory" which functions similar to past memory. He can recall events (within his own timeline) that haven't happened as if they've already occurred. This memory isn't perfectly clear and he's NOT all knowing. Gets memories of the future mixed up with those of the past (I read the Enchiridon's page on Amok Time/Multiverse stuff and got a bit inspired).

And that's all the info I'll give for now! I'll definitely be sharing more about him / his story in the future. I just haven't drawn or written a lot of it out besides scattered doodles that might be hard to understand without full context. I have a little Betty scenario that will be posted soon, but in the meantime I hope this is satisfying!! :)

Hey, in your glitchy simon au, what happened to Choose Goose? Did he die?

Well… technically yes, but it's a bit more complicated than that…

Choose Goose himself is dead, but his shredded magical particles got fumbled into Simon's shredded particles. Simon was able to survive because of this fusion (and because of... another reason I might reveal later…). This doesn’t affect his day to day life, because his magic is passive, but if he were to tap into that dark magic and utilize it, it could irreparably corrupt him. Choose Goose turned dark because of the Ichor of Coconteppi. Having that influence active in Simon’s brain can cause a LOT of problems…

And unfortunately… it does! That’s where the “I need to stop future me from going bonkers and turning evil” arc comes into play! Which I have NOT touched on here, but maybe I will… I am a bit biased to it, unsurprisingly.

Moral of the story: don’t eat evil goose /j

I don't understand a bit what is the difference between Winter Stowaway AU and Shared Custody AU. Can you please tell me?

OK, SO, they're basically the same thing! I just consider one the more "official" name and the other kinda it's semi-official nickname.

The "Shared Custody" title came from a joke comment I made since I originally developed this AU with some friends (some of his design and story elements are part of their contributions). The version I draw / post is my interpretation of what could happen in his story since we thought it would be more fun to not have an "official" one. I think my friend Crayon suggested "Winter Stowaway AU" as a name idea before I made the joke, and I personally liked it as the more "official" name since it actually has to do with his story (he's a stowaway into the traveling trio's adventure!). A lot of my blog tags are for personal organization, and even if Winter Stowaway is the "official" name, I find the silly nickname endearing for obvious reasons… so I just tag with both! : D

📻 with Ben?

In response to this little ask game I reblogged.

ADHGDHGSA... SO.. UH, funny story, Ben USED to have like a song or two (mostly stuff teen me found when I created him, that had nothing to do with his story), but one song got nuked and the other song got reshuffled onto Alex (because lyrically and thematically it fit him better).

HOWEVER, there IS a song on Alex’s playlist that references his relationship with Ben (… that totally counts, right?)…. Okay, fine, it’s more of an Alex song, but IT’S ALL WE GOT, SO,,,,,,,,, (one day I’ll stumble into a proper Ben song). 😭

Anyways, the song is Give Me A Sign by Breaking Benjamin (…. aha, yes, ironic I know).

While the original gives me fun visuals for the main story, this cover has a lot more emotion in it (and it’s also kinda my “Alex has an emotional breakdown” song, but again, this ain’t about him… ok it’s kinda about him…)

Because of sabotage from a traitor in their group, Ben nearly died while being created. His development was put to a halt and he had to be salvaged with machine parts (hence why he’s a cyborg). Alex didn’t choose to clone his deceased friend. It was simply the consensus of the group he was working with. Still, Ben nearly dying brought back the same painful emotions, and he took the attack especially personally. Between fighting his own declining health and working a cure for his son Lewis, protecting Ben from their secret traitor was just another battle he had to fight.

Really sudden ask, but the Over the Garden Wall soundtrack is so good oh my goodness. Also I love your Professor Alexander character he’s so charming! Poor guy looks like he could snap any minute but he still looks so jolly!

I saw you say that most of us prolly don't care about the Top Hat Trio on the blog when you reblogged your last THT upload, but I just wanna say OH COME ON! I DO! I'm looking forward to see more of these guys! I always get really happy whenever there's a new update, so I REALLY hope to see more of them soon. Of course, I won't pressure you.

LAUGHS OH I can’t remember which post that was now, but it was probably at least a year or two (or three) ago??? Regardless, I’m SO glad to hear that there’s other people out there who still appreciate (appreciated?) my silly little top hat blog, and it’s comments like this that really make me wanna go back, ykno? Thank you! In regards to art trades: Kinda? Typically only with friends, and even then not always. Something I gotta be motivated to do really.

HOWEVER, I am a very committed player of Art Fight (which is kind of like an art trading game that happens annually, for only a month)! It's probably the closest thing I'll do to an art trade / free art for strangers or people I know a bit less. It's not a guaranteed trade since I don't always get around to everyone, but I try my best to! Otherwise I highly recommend commissioning me!
