Some Alex doodles!!!!

Filled one of these babies for fun while I was out and about. Some explanations (and profile links) under the cut!

Alex - Blorbo shaped ever since he took the crown off Ken in 2011 (Ken appreciated it). Alex and Aaron have been fighting for fave for a while, but I find myself going back to Alex more frequently than Aaron these days.

Green Circle - Although I can't confirm her as my 1st OC, I CAN confirm she was the first OC I made with the intention of one day making a series! (Animation was my childhood dream job) I was only allowed to watch learning shows at the time (I was maybe 5), so I would imagine her teaching other kids the stuff I was learning.

Viz - Dream dude from my dream! I've had a few other dream concepts pop up, but I foolishly didn't write them down. He's probably the most established of my newer concepts.

Cornicus - Again, coming from a person who has like a bazillion stick-figure-type OCs, Cornicus is nowhere near the easiest to draw. However, he's the most fun of the easiest to draw so he gets a pass this time.

Aurora - An adopted character! I tend to give my ocs easy to draw shapes and figures when I design them, but Aurora's design is very angular and full of shapes that I find difficult to make. On top of all that, she's kind of symmetrical in design. But I suppose I just have to get used to drawing her with a somewhat asymmetrical look...

Cappy - Me! Well... not much to it. Just me. :)

Another set of OC theme songs! I had to take a break from these to do art fight in 2022. The top two were drawn in 2022 while the bottom one was 2023. I have a feeling I may do more of these from time to time (because I like drawing them) but I got pretty burnt out trying to finish the ones I started.

📻 with Ben?

In response to this little ask game I reblogged.

ADHGDHGSA... SO.. UH, funny story, Ben USED to have like a song or two (mostly stuff teen me found when I created him, that had nothing to do with his story), but one song got nuked and the other song got reshuffled onto Alex (because lyrically and thematically it fit him better).

HOWEVER, there IS a song on Alex’s playlist that references his relationship with Ben (… that totally counts, right?)…. Okay, fine, it’s more of an Alex song, but IT’S ALL WE GOT, SO,,,,,,,,, (one day I’ll stumble into a proper Ben song). 😭

Anyways, the song is Give Me A Sign by Breaking Benjamin (…. aha, yes, ironic I know).

While the original gives me fun visuals for the main story, this cover has a lot more emotion in it (and it’s also kinda my “Alex has an emotional breakdown” song, but again, this ain’t about him… ok it’s kinda about him…)

Because of sabotage from a traitor in their group, Ben nearly died while being created. His development was put to a halt and he had to be salvaged with machine parts (hence why he’s a cyborg). Alex didn’t choose to clone his deceased friend. It was simply the consensus of the group he was working with. Still, Ben nearly dying brought back the same painful emotions, and he took the attack especially personally. Between fighting his own declining health and working a cure for his son Lewis, protecting Ben from their secret traitor was just another battle he had to fight.

Doodles of a reworked alternate universe version of Pent (actually based on his original concept), where he's the only son of a recently deceased villain. He tries to live up to his father's legacy, but his father did NOT want him to follow in these footsteps. Thankfully the Found Family changes that course (hence the last image).

He looks like he bites (... ok he probably sometimes bites), but he's actually very baby I swear.
