Re: Walker... do you ever get the feeling that the writers had so many arcs they wanted to do but many were left unfinished/ sloppily addressed? I have always felt like Walker's story was rushed bc Garren came back and they wanted to end the Andi/Buffy/Walker "triangle" in time for a Muffy ending. I also think they created that triangle in the first place bc they didn't know how else to keep Darius around... Wandi had so much potential...

I think you’re right about them getting rid of Walker hastily just because Marty came back. I feel like Walker and Wandi had so much potential but they ended up more just using him as a tool to create drama I guess? And they got rid of him in the worst way possible by making him seem like some huge player. I mean, they’re literally 14 it wouldn’t be unrealistic for Buffy to say she only sees Walker as friend without some deeper reason

I thought more about Muffy running together and I totally see Buffy relying on Marty to keep pace in a marathon, and in the last bit she sprints so she never has to lose to a finger foot.

AHAHAHHA OH MY GOSH YES

At first she doesn’t listen to him when he says to stay steady and keep up her stamina, so for a while she eventually slows down and loses and gets frustrated. Then Marty just insists to keep at his pace all the way to work up to doing better. And then at a certain point when Buffy feels like she has his pace down she realizes all she has to do is keep with him until the last stretch where she can BOLT and leave him in the dust.

And that’s exactly what she starts doing.

Which the first time it happens frustrates Marty but how can he really stay mad when she’s so excited about figuring out how to beat him.

Doesn’t mean he doesn’t still try to beat her though. ;P

In terms of andi mack, “You’re no different,” is one of my favorite quotes!! also “You’re the only person I can talk to like this.” I honestly have a lot of favorite quotes but can’t think of any off the top of my head, urgh! 

I do like the quote “Don’t count the days, make the days count.” and that winne the pooh quote that cyrus said “You’re braver than you think, stronger than you believe, and smarter than you think you are.”

Author’s Note: This ended up a drabble, because I had some family stuff come up… hopefully I’ll be able to come back to this and flesh this out a bit more. Also this was inspired by New Girl.

It’s funny, Katniss muses,  their friends placed bets on when they would get together but no one thought to bet how long their relationship would last. Not relationship… thing…

When do confessions of attraction and a makeout session count as a relationship? Does it even count as a hookup? Katniss sighs looking at her drink before taking a big gulp.

Finnick slides onto the barstool next to her, “Okay what happened?”

Katniss shrugs, “We called it, and he left.” Katniss forces out a smile, “It wasn’t going to work, so we called it off.”

“I thought things would be different now,” Peeta says running his hands through his hair, tugging at the ends out of frustration.

“How could you think I could do this? I’m not the type of girl who wants to be paraded around like some trophy,” Katniss hisses back pulling Peeta into the shadows of the hallway as she hears voices come closer.

Peeta’s face softens, “Katniss, please. That wasn’t my intention. I just thought we finally figured out where we stood with one another, and I was so happy to share with our friends.”

“But that’s not me! And wasn’t it a bit premature to go public? Shouldn’t we have taken some time to see what this was? See if this was even going to work. I don’t think…”

Peeta clears his throat, but the words still come out a bit strangled. “You… you don’t think it’s going to work?”

“Yes,  there is a small part. But…” Katniss hesitates, “Look, it’s not that big of a deal. We tried… but it’s not my thing… and…” Katniss trails off, Peeta isn’t looking at her anymore, he’s staring at the ceiling.

“Just say it,” he whispers.

“I think we should call it. It’s not like we’re in love or anything…”

“Right,” Peeta sighs and walks back to the party.

“That’s it?” Finnick lets out a groan. “You know you always say you aren’t relationship material, but is it so you can give yourself an out from the start?”

Katniss starts to say no, but she realizes her friend is right and looks away.

Finnick continues, “You have gone through so much together and this is what ends your relationship?”

Katniss scoffs, amused he answered the question she asked herself.. “Forty eight hours doesn’t even count as a relationship to middle schoolers,” she gives Finnick a pointed look.

“No, but I think you know Peeta had every intention for this to last over forty years…”

“What are you still doing here? Go!”

“Okay! Going! Thanks, Finn.”

Katniss hurries outside, pulling open her lyft app. She is about to request a ride, when she spots Peeta’s car still in the parking lot. She looks around, and spots him sitting on a bench. Taking a deep breath, she heads towards him.

Peeta quickly stands when he sees her approaching, “Kat-”

“Look, I know I said we should call it, but I don’t want to give up on this. Even if we don’t know what this is. I want to uncall it. Please, can we uncall it?” Katniss’ eyes meet Peeta’s, praying he will agree. “Before you say no, don’t say no.”

Peeta pulls her into a deep kiss and Katniss can feel the tension that’s been in her chest melt away with every second. Katniss sighs happily into his mouth before pulling away.

“Calling it. You’re my girlfriend, real or not real?”

“Real.”

~Important announcements!!!~

Hello everyone! Sorry I’ve been gone. Tumblr has just been super dead so it’s been kind of unmotivating to write tbh. BUT I just started an au on Twitter.

1- So, first announcement my @ on Twitter is @muffysrina. Please go follow and support my au- it would mean the world to me!

2- yes this means I will be changing my username here and YouTube to the same thing sometime soon, so be on the lookout for that.

3- I will be more active on Tumblr for sure when the new season is a little closer, but until then I’ll just periodically check here for notifs and DMs!

Why Marty couldn't break up with Rachel

So I've seen people say that they think it would've been better if Marty broke up with Rachel because of her extreme insecurities and toxic traits... I agree that it would be been a great lesson, but I realized why he couldn't.

No matter how toxic, insecure, tiring, and frustrating Rachel might have been, Marty wouldn't have been able to bring himself to break up with her...

Here's why:

He wouldn't have been able to break up with her, even with all of those obvious reasons why he should've, because at least he knew that she wanted him.

He wouldn't have been able to push away a person that wanted him, because it meant so much for him that someone he, at some point, wanted actually wanted him back

And even if she was so hard to handle he wouldn't have been able to let her go, not after buffy, because of the fear of letting go of something that he might not get from the person he really wanted it from the most.

Day Five:  Pumpkin Patches, Corn mazes and Fall

Characters: Buffy Driscoll x Marty from the Party

Summary:  Marty and Buffy have fun in a corn maze.  Suggested by @cascadingpearls​

"This is the best "first date" ever, Marty."

Buffy and Marty finally had their "first date" after three months of group and double dating. To kick it off, Marty created an Autumn Scavenger hunt for them to complete together. It started with breakfast in the historic town square, a bike ride for two on the Cherry Trail, and now they were at Harry's Pumpkin and Corn Maze.  

"I'm so happy that you're having a great time, Buffy."  

Buffy and Marty were approaching the Corn Maze.  Marty wanted to do the corn maze first and then pick a pumpkin.  Buffy was okay with this, especially when she notices the corn maze best time to beat.  Buffy knew that she and Marty could beat that time without a problem.

"Did you see the time? We could so beat that."  

Marty's fingers brush the back of Buffy's hand, then curled around her fingers.  He slowly shakes his head. "Actually, I was thinking something different."  

Buffy turns into him and smiles. "Oh, call me intrigued."

He pulls her closer as his arm wraps around her shoulders. "Have you ever notice that when people enter a corn maze, they always begin with false starts or missed opportunities? It's because they don't take the time to enjoy the journey of the maze."  

Buffy nods as they started to walk inside the maze together.  

He continues. "Anytime I'm with you, Buffy, I don't want it to be rushed. I want to savor the moment."  

Buffy hands touch the field as they move through the maze. "Savoring the moment doesn't beat the time, Marty."  

He stops walking and turns slightly. "Driscoll - "he starts to say, "how do you know?"

A couple of kids running pass them through the maze laughing and screaming. Buffy looks at the kids without a care in the world and then back at Marty.  She nods. "Okay."

They move slowly in the maze together and turn right.

"How's your foot doing?"

"Slowly getting better. Therapy is working, but my patience is getting to me."  

"You don't have to wear the boot anymore. That's a win."

"No, but that doesn't mean you have to stop giving me piggyback rides."

"Just let me know when." 'When."  

Buffy drops Marty's hand, but he holds tights in pulls her in for a chaste kiss. Her cheeks turn a slight red. He bends down and pulls her on his back.

When her lips graze his neck, she gives it a quick kiss. Her legs wrap around, and he stands up straight.  

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah." She sighs. "I love having your back."  

They both laugh, and Marty starts walking. Buffy shares with him more about her foot therapy sessions.  Beating the time went out of Buffy's mind as they continue to banter, talk, and laugh during the maze.  When Buffy sees the opening of the maze, she lets out a small shriek.  

"Nice jobs, guys. You shaved the time to beat by 30 seconds." The staffer shared. Buffy jumps off Marty's back and watches as they modify the new time to beat.  

She pulls Marty into a hug with a big grin. "We shaved thirty seconds, Pacione." She rested her head on his shoulder with a smile. "I guess you were right."

I love the Buffy headcanons. And I 500% am behind the running ones. I also have a headcanon that Buffy doesn't have a big growth spurt and ends up focusing more on running.

OOO that ones interesting too!! I’m like... big conflicted about whether Buffy would focus on running or basketball more, mainly because of how much growth she had involving basketball in particular and how the finale had them all picture Buffy as an NBA coach.

Even if she doesn’t have a growth spurt to help her as a basketball player, it’d be cool imo if she would up focusing more on the actual plays rather than playing. Kinda again going into the “coach buffy” mentality. Like another headcanon I’d had that I knocked out because I’d love to think of her still being involved in running was if she hadn’t been involved in a sport that season, she and Cyrus would help out as managers on the boys basketball team. Cyrus more on the wellness of the team with waters and snacks and stuff while Buffy more on the organizing practices and butting in to help the coach give advice to the players.

But seeing Buffy go back to focusing on running would also be really cool, because for one it gives her the chance to prove to herself that if she properly trained she COULD run a marathon with ease and for another it gives her more time to challenge herself against Marty. I love the idea that she and Marty like doing marathons together and would find it really fun if she and the others participated in something kind of like the color run! While she and the “athletes” ran, the non-athletic ones volunteered as participants who played with the color and threw it at the marathon runners! Mixes the artsy and the athletic to find something fun together. Plus good bonding experience with two different groups!!

No matter what I support sporty Buffy through and through. She a fine fit QUEEN and I feel like no matter where she went in life, she’d definitely participate in sports in one way or another
