I LOVE POPCORN!! And one of my favourite movie theatres to buy the best popcorn in Singapore imo is from @cathaycineplexes! But yesterday, I decided to try the newly launched Salted Egg Popcorn flavor ($8.80 with 1 drink) instead while watching the @liang_ximei movie! Note that this flavor is available for CNY only ya? 🍿🍿 . So proud of my firstborn who sat through her first movie in the cinema over the weekend! Just look at how pleased she was after the movie taking it with the poster haha. I had (and have) been facing a lot of power struggles, insecurity and even violence from her. It’s been hard finding that balance between discipline and connection. Our time alone together was much needed and well spent. We had maccas together (as per her request), checked out flowers at the supermarket but didn’t buy cause we couldn’t agree on the same one (so we settled on taking pictures haha), shopped around a bit and then caught our movie. Now we have a new mama-daughter thing we enjoy together💕 . Honestly, I wasn’t expecting her to sit through the whole thing😅 #meoflittlefaith The kind cashier @cathaycineplexes shared about the 1-for-1 Singtel special so we could save money haha. I had candy on hand, cause we were too full to have popcorn. I had ear plugs on hand, cause I didn’t want to leave the movie just because it was too loud. We had ample time and I believe the unhurried time help her to feel more settled too. She’s already asking for her next movie but I think we’ll just catch them at home for now on Disney+ woohoo. Hunger Games Marathon(Singapore)

Usually, it's the fans who go for marathons. In the case of Singapore, lots of us were queuing for the movie merchandise before the movie started and I heard this from the group of people behind me while in the queue: A: I was wrong. I thought they would do a marathon on a Friday night or over the weekend and I can watch it like a normal human being. (Chuckling). I never expect it to be a Wednesday...you know... B: Yeah, me too. I'm wondering like, doesn't anyone have to work on Thursdays or go to school? More chuckles. Surprised that there were some who said it was their first time watching all 3 films. These people have been living in a cave. Other than group fun, another perk of watching a marathon is that: -So far, no one kicks chairs and try to be rude, cos we are mostly fans(group mentality) -a lot of us were tempted to do the three-finger salute -the scene between Snow and Katniss before the victory tour really sets the tone for all rest of things to come...so subtle, no drama, yet so powerful Going to walk and stretch my legs a bit before watching the second half of "Mockingjay part one". First half is a little slow.
