The concept behind this dreamcast comes from a TikTok I came across by user @/thekarlypaige a couple of days ago that has stuck with me for days now. I’ll link it below, but essentially, Legally Blonde through an Asian lens, touching on the “model minority” myth and showing that Asian people can’t be stereotyped into a singular experience. It’s high time for a Legally Blonde revival and I think looking at the material through a new lens would be a great way to revive this fun piece!

540 Local Elected Officials From All 50 States Urge Prez Trump to Import More Refugees to U.S.
Joe Biden has promised to make this happen, including taking in foreigners from terrorist hotspots around the world. In fact, Joe Biden was one of the original architects of the fraud-ridden refugee program that has destroyed neighborhoods across the U.S.
by Ann Corcoran
I told you here that the refugee industry was working on a letter to the President urging him to get the refugee flow into America moving again.
Yesterday they sent the letter with 540 signatories.
Says Amnesty International:
By signing this letter, these elected officials have joined together to voice their commitment to welcoming refugees in their communities and reviving the United States’ legacy as a leader in refugee resettlement.
I notice something missing from the letter. It avoids giving the President a number, but the industry has made it very clear!
They want 95,000 refugees to begin arriving on October first.
The President could make a decision this month on how many refugees might be invited to live in the US in FY2021. He could also legally set the ceiling at zero.
All of my posts on the topic are tagged FY2021.
Here are the signatories from yesterday. The list is handy for identifying those local elected officials who are changing America by changing the people.
I don’t know why the organizers think that these open borders advocates will hold any sway with the President, but they sure make it handy for you to identify the other side where you live. Target them for retirement when they come up for re-election!
(For a little additional fun, see last year’s list here.)
They say the list is bipartisan, but there is no indication of party affiliation. You will need to look through those listed in your state to see if Republicans are among those looking to import more poverty to your city.

Merry Christmas+Joxyeux Noel!🎄🎅🌟 Happy Holidays!
I brought the kiddies new outfits to take picture with “Santa Claus+Saint Nicolas.”
The kids loved their outfits. Catherine liked her dress. She wanted to spin around it while she couldn’t. while Augustin liked his tie. He try to tie it himself but fail.
The kids was so happy to see “Santa Claus+Saint Nicolas.”Catherine asked for a new doll, wish to walk, and wish everyone care about one another stop bullying and treating her bad and unfair. while Augustin asked for delicious food, his parents,a nice warm home, and world peace.
As you can see Augustin is little shy. He shy for two reasons one he never saw “santa+saint nicolas”before he was little nervous.but he was also happy to take a picture with him. And two. He’s little shy with his new best friend Catherine. He kind of afraid of girls. He saw girls before but only females he was use to seeing are the ones who help around the orphanage and see the other boys mothers, sisters, etc.
Catherine kind of feel the same way but not really afraid has him at moment. She just excited to take picture with “santa+saint nicolas.
And “santa+saint nicolas” hat kind of lift up a little before the picture was taken. But don’t worry he straighten his hat right after the picture was taken.
Oh well. The kids kind of knew he wasn’t the real santa+saint nicolas anyway, well except Augustin. He was kind of curious was he the real or not.
Augustin knew about santa+saint nicolas,he never rarely show up at the orphanage. He wasn’t exactly a bad boy but maybe he never got his wishes because all the “naughty” things he done by an accident.
So i guess they just liked taking a picture with him because they wanted tell him what they want and it was kind of fun. ^_^
After the picture i made make the kids lunch and they played, talk about santa+saint nicolas, and talk about Christmas+Noel and other things.
Do think the children will get their Christmas+Noel wishes?
Have A Holly Jolly Christmas+Noel🎄🎅🌟and have a Very Happy New Year! Happy Holidays!
From BabyPoof08 🎄🎅🌟😊
(PS: This took about 3\5 days to do. i think the kids may get alittle bit of coal. not alot. but a inch. :))
(PSS:that’s archibald in the santa+saint nicolas suit. thanks for your help archibald you made the kids Christmas+Noel hopeful and somewhat happy.)
(PSSS: most definitely drawing more little cathy and making aesthetic board in the future. ^_^)
(PSSSS: half of tintin biography is from @tuftofginger i hope you like this idea. we should talk about more about tintin very soon. ^_^)

We are challenged to have great faith!!! August 30, 2021
Dear Family of Mary!
Here is the August 25, 2021 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace:
“Dear children! With joy I am calling all of you, little children, who have responded to my call: be joy and peace. Witness with your lives Heaven, which I am bringing to you. It is time, little children, that you be a reflection of my love for all those who do not love and whose hearts hatred has conquered. Do not forget: I am with you and intercede for all of you before my Son Jesus, that He may give you His peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (August 25, 2021)
On Saturday, the Feast of St. Augustine (August 28), Fr. Kevin McKeever gave a most spectacular homily in St. Augustine’s honor. I have transcribed it for us. Today I present the first half and tomorrow the second. We will receive a great deal of peace from Fr. Kevin’s words:
Homily for August 28, 2021, English Mass, Medjugorje – Fr. Kevin McKeever
The servants in today’s Gospel all received a share in their Master’s riches in proportion to their ability. The weak are not meant to be envious of the strong because the Lord in His mercy has given them a lesser burden to carry our of consideration for the ability. But the strong are not meant to become proud or look down on the weak because by accepting the greater duties that are allotted to them, they realize that they will have to face a more demanding judgement.
Today we see that in the life of St. Augustine. God lavished great spiritual gifts of wisdom, eloquence and knowledge upon him, and gave him the dignity of being a bishop in his Church. Yet for Augustine that was no reason for boasting. On the contrary, he said that the responsibilities placed upon him terrified him. But the grace of still being a Christian, loved by God, comforted him. As he famously said, “For you I am a bishop. With you, I am a Christian.”
The immense grace that God lavished on St. Augustine from the moment of his conversion until the moment of his holy death, combined with his natural genius to produce an amazing abundance of spiritual fruit.
The Church never ceases to draw a rich harvest from Augustine’s labors. Every time his books or sermons are read, studied and used in prayer. Anyone who has encountered St. Augustine through his writings, cannot help but have their heart and soul touched by the spirit of this saintly bishop and doctor of the Church. Just as God touched the heart of Augustine and set it aflame with love, so too does He continue to touch the hearts of all of us through St. Augustine’s work.
The marvelous thing about Augustine’s voluminous writings is that he has something to say for every mood and every occasion. For example when we read his famous Confessions, we can reflect with Augustine about how the invisible hand of God’s providence guides every moment of our life. Even in the bad moments, we see that God is there patiently preparing us for something greater.
With Augustine we can weep in penitence for our sins. And we can rejoice in the mercy of God. With him we can thank God for the beauty of His creation. And praise Him for all His mighty deeds. However Augustine can also give us a good shake to get us out of our complacency or to stop us from feeling sorry for ourselves.
Augustine lived in very troubled times. And he often had to deal with parishioners who were always moaning and complaining about how bad things are. So he once said in a sermon, “Our Holy Scriptures do not promise us peace, security and repose, but tribulations and distress. So we must not complain. ‘As some of them complained,’ as the Apostle says, ‘and perished from the serpents.’ What fresh sort of sufferings to we endure that our fathers did not undergo? Yet you find men complaining about the times live in, saying that the times of our parents were good. What if they could be taken back to the times of their parents and should then complain. The past times that you think were good, are good because they are not yours here and now. Have we forgotten the flood, have we forgotten those burdensome times of famine and wars? They were written about to prevent us from complaining about the present time against God.What times those were.So we have rather cause for congratulating ourselves, than grounds for complaining about our own times.”
And how relevant those words are for us. If we are lamenting our own times, whether it is because of COVID and restrictions, or because of war and terrorism, or even problems in the Church. Augustine could point us to his own times, never mind the disasters of other centuries, and tell us to be thankful for small mercies.
Imagine facing the plagues that rocked the Roman Empire without the benefit of modern medical science. Or imagine being Augustine watching the Vandals attack his home town in North Africa. One year after his death, Augustine’s city of Hippo Regius was destroyed, never again to recover.
We might think that the Catholic Church is in a bad way now, but Augustine could point to the scandals and schisms of his own day, which were so divisive that they often led to violence. He had to contend with the Manichaens, the Arians, the Donatists, the Pelagians. Those words might not mean much to you now, but all they meant to Augustine was headache, heartache and stress. No wonder he never had a moments rest as he tried to argue with them and correct them.
So today, St. Augustine also stands before us as a reminder that all the paths of history, just like our own personal journey through life, stand under the loving guidance of God’s providence. So instead of being fearful, complaining, we are challenged to have faith, and patient trust in God. Willingly carrying our crosses as a precious way of sharing in the saving Cross of Christ.
End of part 1! Part 2 tomorrow!

The Pool Scene - Greg Wilson, Terry Gulliver - Atlantic 9-Ball Tour
New Post on http://thepoolscene.com/?p=21451
Atlantic 9 Ball Tour Season 2 Event # 4 News!
The fourth stop of the Atlantic 9 Ball Tour Season 2 is now complete! This time 94 of the Atlantic Provinces best 9 ball players competed from 16-18 Dec 16.
Each of these events has $1,600 in added money. Also 1st place in each event is guaranteed $1000. The Grand Finale event will have a minimum of $15,000 in added money and is scheduled for 19-22 May 2017. You must have played in 4 events in order to qualify for the Grand Finale!
The format is fantastic as far as I’m concerned. It is a double knockout event with a race to 9 on both sides. The finals will be one race to 13. Magic racks are mandatory and there is also a soft break rule. This rule is 2 balls must either be pocketed, go past the headstrong or a combination of these two.
Entry fees are staggered at $110 for an “A” player, $90 for a “B” player, $70 for a “C” player and everyone must pay a one-time $10 membership fee. The membership also entitles the player for a 10% discount on a billiard shop purchase! The different player classes are determined by the tournament director.
There is also a ladies event, $200 added with a max field of 32 players, the entry fee is $60 and everyone must pay a one-time $10 membership fee.
Each of the events will begin on Friday night at 7 pm and finish on Sunday and the number of players has just been capped at a maximum of 128 players. This is now possible with the addition inside the pool room and the fact that there are now 16 tables.
Mr. TJ Martin has also decided to provide further incentives for participation in the following unique ways:
He has chosen to pay the top 2 x “B” players, the top 2 x “C” players and the top 2 x Senior players (over 60) a $100 bonus each at all of the events.
He has chosen to pay the top points leaders after the 8 events. The top “A”, “B”, “C” and female player will all receive a $1000 bonus. There will also be $500 bonus for the top senior player.
Players must participate in 6 of 8 events in order to be eligible for these bonuses. As another incentive, female players are eligible for both the “C” player and top female bonuses!
A big thank you to Paul Benoit of Ultimate Roofing Systems for adding $4000 for these bonuses!
Ultimate Roofing Systems
1 (902) 209-3721
For all tournaments there will be a second chance tournament held on Sunday with $200 in added money (minimum of 8 players). “A” players will not be eligible for the second chance event. Entry fees are $25 for a “B” player and $20 for a “C” player. The format is single knock out race to 9 with the same rules as the main event.
For all tournaments there will be a Calcutta paying 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
For all tournaments there will be a “Last Man Standing” Event and here is how it works:
A person has 5 options to participate in the “Last Man Standing” Event. He or she can pay $20, $40, $60, $80 or $100 to enter.
If you decide to pay $60 for example and lose your first match $30 of this money goes to the final pot for the “Last Man Standing”. If you win this first match you just continue on.
Once you meet up with another player who has entered, the winner of this match will get up to 1/2 of their money back as soon as that match is over. Here are a few scenarios:
A $20 player beats a $20, $40, $60, $80 or $100 player they get $10.
A $40 player beats a $40, $60, $80 or $100 player they get $20.
A $60 player beats a $60, $80 or $100 player they get $30.
An $80 player beats an $80 or $100 player they get $40.
A $100 player beats another $100 player they get $50.
If a higher paid player beats a lower paid player they get 1/2 of that player’s money. As an example a $100 player beats a $20 player they get $10 and so on.
Once the “Last Man Standing” has been determined the money remaining in the pot is given out according to the player’s entry. For example, if a $100 player is the “Last Man Standing” he or she gets all of the money left in the pot because their percentage is 100 %. If a $20 player is the “Last Man Standing” they get 20% of the pot and if the next person is a $100 player or an $80 player they get the rest. Another example would be if a $60 player is the “Last Man Standing” they would get 60% of the pot and if the next person was a $20 player they would get 20% and the other 20% would go to the next player in line.
The highest finishing and highest paying B and C players will receive their money back.
This is a fabulous format to generate excitement, interest and a little extra incentive to win!
Here are all of the exciting results of the Atlantic 9 Ball Tour Season 2 Event # 4 held on 16-18 Dec 2016!

• A good Dianetic auditor can take a broken-down, sorrow-drenched lady of thirty-eight and knock out her past periods of physical and mental pain and have on his hands somebody who appears to be twenty-five-and a bright, cheerful twenty-five at that. – L. Ron Hubbard
jQuery(document).ready(function($) var data = action: 'polyxgo_products_search', type: 'Product', keywords: 'Auditor', orderby: 'rand', order: 'DESC', template: '1', limit: '68', columns: '4', viewall:'Shop All', ; jQuery.post(spyr_params.ajaxurl,data, function(response) var obj = jQuery.parseJSON(response); jQuery('#thelovesof_auditor').html(obj); jQuery('#thelovesof_auditor img.swiper-lazy:not(.swiper-lazy-loaded)' ).each(function () var img = jQuery(this); img.attr("src",img.data('src')); img.addClass( 'swiper-lazy-loaded' ); img.removeAttr('data-src'); ); ); );
• A good person is one who follows the Ten Commandments and the golden rule. There is plenty of precedent in history to guide us and we probably evolved to be sensitive to Bible-Golden Rule situations. But the dilemmas faced by a worker – a journalist, an architect, an auditor – or by a citizen (what position to take on stem cell research, whether to run for office, what is the proper balance between taxation and social nets) – are not questions that can be answered by traditional texts or precedents. – Howard Gardner
• A poet is a nightingale, who sits in darkness and sings to cheer its own solitude with sweet sounds; his auditors are as men entranced by the melody of an unseen musician, who feel that they are moved and softened, yet know not whence or why. – Percy Bysshe Shelley
• According to government auditors, the stimulus money is being held up because there aren’t enough government workers to oversee the spending. So follow me, in other words, government workers who aren’t there are needed to spend money we don’t have to create jobs that don’t exist. – Jay Leno
• Governments lie; bankers lie; even auditors sometimes lie: gold tells the truth. – William Rees-Mogg
• I admit that I myself am far from having a complete command of every topic I touch on, but my knowledge of my subject is always greater than the interest or the understanding of my auditors. You see, there is one very good thing about mankind; the mediocre masses make very few demands of the mediocrities of a higher order, submitting stupidly and cheerfully to their guidance – Alfred de Vigny
• I think my mother was like a small company which, because things are not ship-shape, keeps two sets of books, one for the auditors and then there’s the other one. – Michael Lindsay-Hogg
• I was talking about no nukes, the farm crisis. People said that wasn’t stuff that a state auditor was supposed to be talking about. Maybe they were right. – Paul Wellstone
• Look, in particular, at the people who, like you, are making average incomes for doing average jobs- bank vice presidents, insurance salesmen, auditors, secretaries of defense- and you’ll realie they all dress the same way, essentially the way the mannequins in the Sears menswear department dress. Now look at the real successes, the people who make a lot more money than you- Elton John, Captain Kangaroo, anybody from Saudi Arabia, Big Bird, and so on. They all dress funny- and they all succeed. – Dave Barry
• Mandatory auditor rotation is designed to address a potential conflict of interest between a public company and its auditor. Because an auditor is hired and paid by the public company it audits, the auditor’s desire to maintain a good relationship with its client could conflict with its duty to rigorously question the client’s financial statements. – Robert Pozen
• Men of great conversational powers almost universally practise a sort of lively sophistry and exaggeration which deceives for the moment both themselves and their auditors. – Thomas B. Macaulay
• Most of us are visual learners. Some of us are auditor learners – we learn by hearing. Many of us are kinesthetic learners. We learn by doing, touching, feeling. I have found … that we need an educational model that is current, that meets the need of our students. America must understand that she needs Muslims. – Andre Carson
• Obviously the more transparency we have as auditors, the more we can get, but the main goal is to understand important characteristics about a black box algorithm without necessarily having to understand every single granular detail of the algorithm. – Cathy O’Neil
• Of all the ills of man which can be successfully processed by Scientology, arthritis ranks near the top. In skilled hands, this ailment, though misunderstood and dreaded in the past, already has begun to become history. Twenty-five hours of Scientology by an auditor who fairly understands how to process arthritis can be said to produce an invariable alleviation of the condition. Some cases, even severe ones, have responded in as little as two hours of processing, according to reports from auditors in the field. – L. Ron Hubbard
• People attack Scientology, I never forget it, always even the score. People attack auditors, or staff, or organisations, or me. I never forget until the slate is clear. – L. Ron Hubbard
• Plato says that the punishment which the wise suffer who refuse to take part in the government, is, to live under the government of worse men; and the like regret is suggested to all the auditors, as the penalty of abstaining to speak,–that they shall hear worse orators than themselves. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
• Suppose that throughout your childhood you were good with numbers. Other kids used to copy your homework. You figured store discounts faster than your parents. People came to you for help with such things. So you took accounting and eventually became a tax auditor for the IRS. What an embarrassing job, right? You feel you should be writing poetry or doing aviation mechanics or whatever. But then you realize that tax collecting can be a calling too. – James Hillman
• The Auditor-General has been complaining year in and year out that the municipalities have not paid auditing fees. It is not because they are reluctant but they don’t have the money to pay the Auditor. So, you can’t say that you are throwing money at somebody who doesn’t have money. Lots of the things that the municipalities can’t do are because resources are not there. – Thabo Mbeki
• The Auditors fluttered anxiously. And, as always happens in their species when something goes radically wrong and needs fixing instantly, they settled down to try to work how who was to blame. – Terry Pratchett

Done, the thetan can do anything a stage magician can do in the way of moving objects around. But this isn’t attained by holding one’s breath or thinking right thoughts or voting Republican or any other superstitous or mystic practice.
