o my lord i completely forgot about the fanfic i was writinf of socks and catssic in the chaos of needing to complete a scrapbook entirely from scratch, an entirely new typeface and several group projects and presentations in the span of a month-

Ink looked up at brown liquid dripping off the table. He watched as the drops of the liquid splashed onto the floor, splattering in patterns as a puddle formed.

Intrigued, he bounded forward. Stopping just short of touching the slow-growing puddle, he watched curiously as it began to flow following the lines on the floor.

He stuck his paw in curiously and found out,to his delight, that it caused more of the liquid to splash out around it.

He noted happily that while stepping back his paw had left a mark on the floor.

Eagerly, he jumped into the puddle and just as quickly jumped out to prance around the room, leaving a trail of little brown pawprints in his wake.

Feeling less liquid on his paws, he quickly backtracked and dived back into the now decently sized puddle to re-ink. Happy to admire his work while he soaked his paws in more brown, he turned around to do just that.

Looking around at his work, he swished his tail proudly. Look at it! So much more fun than the boring ground earlier.

Gleefully, he geared up to continue his redecorating of the floor.

Also, to allow myself to squeal a bit, it is so cute!!! I imagined little Socks going around just putting his pawprints everywhere and my heart swelled.

And I know this was not intentional, but you left me a bit on a cliffhanger there. Imagine me scooting my chair forward and eagerly waiting to see what happens next on Socks' brand new ink-tastic adventure.

So I just had a thought would cat classic or his gaster blasters also get headaches by the portals or is it just normal for them? All I imagine is cat classic swiping everyone that opens portals near him 😂. Also I LOVE this so much you are honestly amazing thank you

The image of Catssic trying sprinting full force at someone who portals and just approaching with his back all fluffed up, tail raised high, and just turns sideways menacingly.

I've never actually considered whether Catssic or Blast would also get headaches with portals. Catssic, at least, would be exempt from the headaches since, while they are a reflection of Classic, they are not Classic himself.

The reason behind Classic's headaches is mostly magic/soul based.

... Which means Blast also experiences headaches. Oh, dear.

ive already reported the problem... TOT it might kinda be my fault bc i remember not being able to reply to someone around a year and a bit ago and just ignoring the problem TOT

meanwhile ive suddenly been struck with the thoughts of socks cat ink and cat classic. just cat classic dragging cat ink away from trouble. i cant stop thinking abt cat ink playing with a puddle of spilled coffee and cat classic trying to stop him by whacking him (gently) with his paw and nudging him with his head away.

... Oh my goodness. Catssic and Socks- they would get into so many hijinks.

100% at least once Classic has dragged Socks away from trouble by the scruff of their neck. Also, I'm just imagining now that Classic's version of scolding is bapping them in the face
