A víziközmű-szolgáltatásról szóló 2011. évi CCIX. törvény módosítása biztosítja, hogy a víziközmű-szolgáltató ne mondhassa fel egyoldalúan az átadási szerződést akkor...

Russia's 'Baikal' benchmark compares Intel and Huawei chips
Tumblr media
【Lansheng Technology Information】Russian CPU manufacturer Baikal previously launched the Baikal-S server CPU, which was hyped by local media as a challenger to Intel and AMD. However, CPU benchmarks from Russian news outlet CNews have now surfaced and present a completely different picture.
It is understood that Baikal-S was released in October 2021, when the first batch of engineering samples of the new product arrived in Russia from Taiwan's TSMC. The processor is manufactured using a 16 nm process technology, has 48 ARM Cortex-A75 cores, six channels of DDR4 3200 MHz memory - up to 768 GB per socket (128 GB per channel), and supports hardware virtualization.
The chip interconnect consists of three CCIX x16 interfaces; each lane runs at 16 Gbps. The set of I/O interfaces includes 80 PCIe Gen 4.0 lanes (48 lanes are shared by the CCIX interface), two 1 Gb Ethernet RGMII lanes, and a USB 2.0 ULPI.
Baikal-S was originally designed to run at a clock frequency of 2 GHz. The developers assumed that he would be able to work stably in more advanced modes, but they were later able to fully verify this by working on a serial board and achieving more efficient cooling.
Therefore, the indicators provided by the company will regularly take into account the parameters of Baikal-S with frequencies of 2GHz and 2.5GHz.
In terms of testing competitors, Intel's Xeon Gold 6230 and Huawei's Kunpeng 920 were chosen. Intel's Xeon Gold 6230 was released in 2019, with a design process of 14nm, 20 ARM cores, and a frequency of 2.1GHz. Baikal Electronics told CNews that the processor was chosen because of its similar performance and price to the Baikal-S at the time of the Russian chip's launch.
The Huawei Kunpeng 920 was released in September 2019, and at launch, the creators called it the "highest performance ARM-based processor." The Kunpeng 920 7nm process is the most advanced. The self-developed TaiShan v110 architecture is also 48 cores, with a fixed main frequency of 2.6GHz, a L3 cache of 48MB, and a thermal design power consumption of up to 158W. One of the reasons Baikal Electronics chose it was its similar architecture to Baikal-S - AWP V8.

ccxxvii The exception are those who believe and do good works and remember God a lot, and defend themselves after they’re oppressed. And as for the oppressors, they’ll find out what turn of fate they’ll undergo.
ccxxvi and that they say what they do not do?
ccxxv don’t you see that they’re in every valley, roaming in rapture,
ccxxiv and the seducing poets follow them:
cxxiii who listen to them though most of them are liars;
ccxxii They descend on all lying sinners,
ccxxi Shall I tell you about those on whom the devils descend?
ccxx for God is all-hearing, all-knowing.
ccxix and your movements in the company of those bowing down;
ccxviii who sees you as you stand,
ccxvii And trust in the Almighty, the Merciful,
ccxvi Then if they disobey you, then say, “I am innocent of what you are doing.”
ccxv And lower your wing to the believers who follow you.
ccxiv And warn your closest relatives.
ccxiii So do not pray to any deity besides God, or you will be punished.
ccxii for they are cut off from hearing.
ccxi it is not fitting for them, and they are not able;
ccx The devils haven’t brought this down:
ccix to remind; and We have never been unjust.
ccviii Yet We never destroyed a population that did not have its warners
ccvii what they had been allowed to enjoy will be of no avail to them.
ccvi then there comes upon themwhat they were promised,
ccv Do you see—if We let them enjoy life for years,
cciv Do they seek to hasten Our punishment?
cciii Then they will say, “Will we be granted a stay?”
ccii but it will come to them suddenly ,while they are unawares:
cci they won’t believe in it until they see the painful penalty;
cc Thus have We introduced it into the hearts of the sinners:
cxcix  and had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it.
cxcviii Even if We had revealed it to some of the non-Arabs,
cxcvii isn’t it a sign to them that the learned of the Israelites acknowledge it?
cxcvi and this is in the ancient scriptures too:
cxcv in clear Arabic speech:
cxciv to your heart, that you may be a herald
cxciii the faithful spirit brought it down
cxcii This is a revelation from the Lord of all worlds:
XI
cxci Still your Lord is in factthe Almighty, the Merciful.
cxc  There is surely a sign in that, but most of them aren’t believers.
clxxxix But they still called him a liar. Then the agony of the day of the overshadowing cloud struck them; and that was the agony of a distressing day.
clxxxviii He said, “My Lord knows better what you are doing.”
clxxxvii “Now bring pieces of the sky down on us, if you are telling the truth.”
clxxxvi “You are no more than a man, like us; and we think you are a liar.
clxxxv They said, “You are merely bewitched.
clxxxiv  “And be conscious of the One who created you and the multitudes of yore.”
clxxxiii “and don’t withhold from people
anything due them, and don’t do harm in the land as spoilers.
clxxxii “weigh with accurate scales,
clxxxi “Give full measure, and do not cause loss:
clxxx “And I ask you no reward for it, either; my reward is up to the Lord of all worlds alone.
clxxix “so be conscious of God, and obey me.
clxxviii “I am a faithful messenger to you,
clxxvii Remember how Shu‘aib said to them,“Won’t you be conscientious?
clxxvi The people of the woods repudiated the emissaries:
X
clxxv Still your Lord is in fact the Almighty, the Merciful.
clxxiv. There is surely a sign in that, but most of them aren’t believers.
clxxiii We rained a shower on them; and grievous is the shower rained on those who have been warned!
clxxii then We destroyed the rest—
clxxi except an old woman among those who tarried behind;
clxx So we rescued him and his family, all together,
clxix “My Lord, deliver me and my family from what they are doing!”
clxviii He said, “I certainly abhor your activity!
clxvii They said, “If you don’t stop, Lot, you will be banished.”
clxvi “leaving alone the mates your Lord created for you? You are an immoral people!”
clxv “Do you approach males,
clxiv. “I don’t ask you any reward for it, either; my reward is up to the Lord of all worlds alone.
clxiii “so be conscious of God, and obey me.
clxii “I am a faithful messenger to you,
clxi Remember how their brother Lot said to them, “Won’t you be conscientious?
clx Lot’s people repudiated the emissaries:
IX
clix Still your Lord is in fact the Almighty, the Merciful.
clviii and the torment overtook them. There is surely a sign in that, but most of them aren’t believers.
clvii But they hamstrung it, and then they became rueful;
clvi “So do it no harm, lest the torment of a distressing day overtake you.”
clv He said, “Here is a she-camel.There is a portion of water for it, and a portion of water for you on a determined day.
cliv “You are nothing but a man like us. Produce a sign if you are being truthful.”
cliii  They said, “You are merely bewitched.
clii “who corrupt the land and do nothing to improve.”
cli “and don’t obey the command of those who are immoderate,
cl “So be conscious of God, and obey me;
cxlix “with you nimbly carving houses from the mountains?
cxlviii “and fields, and date palms with heavily laden spathes,
cxlvii “in gardens and springs,
cxlvi. “Will you be left secure in what is here—
cxlv “I don’t ask you any reward for it; my reward is up to the Lord of all worlds alone.
cxliv. “so be conscious of God, and obey me.
cxliii “I am a faithful messenger to you,
cxlii Remember how their brother Salih said to them, “Won’t you be conscientious?
cxli The Thamud repudiated the emissaries:
VIII
cxl Still your Lord is in factthe Almighty, the Merciful.
cxxxix Thus they called him a liar, and so We destroyed them. Surely there is a sign in that, but most of them aren’t believers.
cxxxviii “we are not going to be punished.”
cxxxvii “for this is only an invention of the ancients—
cxxxvi They said, “It is the same to us whether you preach or not;
cxxxv “Indeed, I fear for you the torment of a distressing day.”
cxxxiv “and gardens and springs.
cxxxiii “supplied you with cattle and children,
cxxxii “Be conscious of the One who supplied you with all you know;
cxxxi “So be conscious of God, and obey me.
cxxx “When you attack, you attack as oppressors.
cxxix. “And do you occupy buildings so you might stay forever?
cxxviii “Do you erect a sign on every hill for fun?
cxxvii “I don’t ask you reward for it; my reward is up to the Lord of all worlds alone.
cxxvi “So be conscious of God, and obey me.
cxxv “I am a faithful messenger to you.
cxxiv Remember how their brother Hud said to them, “Won’t you be conscientious?
cxxiii The ‘Ad repudiated the emissaries:
VII
cxxii Still your Lord is in fact the Almighty, the Merciful.
cxxi Surely there is a sign in that, but most of them aren’t believers.
cxx  Then We drowned those who stayed behind.
cxix So We delivered him and those with him, on the laden Ark.
cxviii “so judge between us, and deliver me and the believers with me.”
cxvii “Do you erect a sign on every hill for fun?
cxvi He said, “My Lord, my people have repudiated me;
cxvi They said, “If you don’t give up, Noah, you will be stoned.”
cxv “I am only a herald, speaking plainly.”
cxiv “and I am not about to drive away the believers.
cxiii “Their account is up to my Lord alone, if you understand:
cxii He said, “What do I know of what they do?
cxi They said, “Should we believe in you, when the most abject follow you?”
cx “So be conscious of God, and obey me.”
cix “I ask you no reward for it, either; for my reward is up to the Lord of all worlds alone.
cviii “so be conscious of God, and obey me.
cvii “For I am a faithful messenger to you;
cvi Remember how their brother Noah said to them, “Won’t you be conscientious?
cv Noah’s people repudiated the emissaries:
VI
civ Still your Lord is in factthe Almighty, the Merciful.
ciii Surely in that is a sign ;but most of them aren’t believers.
cii “‘Now if only we could return, we would be believers.’”
ci “‘and nary an intimate friend.
c ‘“So there are no intercessors for us
xcix “‘and no one led us astray but the sinners.
xcviii “‘when we took you for equals to the Lord of all worlds,
xcvii “‘By God, we were indeed in evident error
xcvi “They will say, disputing there,
xcv “and the armies of the devil, all of them.
xciv “Then they’ll be toppled into the fire, they and those astray,
xciii “‘besides God? Will they deliver you, or deliver themselves?
xcii “and it will be said to them, ‘Where are those you used to worship
xci “while the blaze will be displayed to those astray;
xc “And the garden will be brought near the conscientious,
lxxxix “except those who bring God an unblemished heart.
lxxxviii “the day when neither wealth nor children will be of help,
lxxxvii “and do not disgrace me on the day they’re resurrected,
lxxxvi “and forgive my father, as he is among those in error;
lxxxv “and make me an heir of paradise,
lxxxiv “and give me a reputation for truth among later generations,
lxxxiii “My Lord, grant me wisdom, and admittance to the society of the righteous,
lxxxii “and who I hope will forgive me on the day of requital.
lxxxi “and who will cause me to die and then revive me,
lxxx “and who heals me when I’m sick,
lxxix “and who feeds me and gives me drink,
lxxviii “who created me and who guides me,
lxxvii “They are inimical to me, except the Lord of all worlds,
lxxvi “you and your ancestors?
lxxv He said, “Then do you see what you have been worshipping,
lxxiv They said, “No, but we found our fathers doing thus.”
lxxiii He said, “Do they hear you when you pray? Do they provide you any benefit or do you any harm?”
lxxii They said, “We worship idols; we are constantly devoted to them.”
lxxi Remember how he said to his father and his people,“What are you worshipping?”
lxx Now tell them the story of Abraham:
V
lxix still your Lord is in fact the Almighty, the Merciful.
lxviii Surely there is a sign in that; yet most of them are not believers:
lxvii and We drowned the others.
lxvi now We rescued Moses and those with him, all of them,
lxv Then We caused the others to approach:
lxiv Then We inspired Moses,“Strike the sea with your staff!” Then it divided, each part like an enormous mountain.
lxiii He said, “Certainly not! For with me is my Lord, who will guide me.”
lxii and when the two throngs saw each other, the company of Moses said,“We will surely be overtaken.”
lxi Now then, they followed them at dawn,
lx So it was. And We had the Israelites inherit them.
lix and treasures, and an eminent position.
lviii Then We expelled them from gardens and springs,
lvii “even if we are united on the alert.”
lvi “but they are certainly vexing to us,
lv “These are a small band, to be sure,

._+ Mis-eye-ventures Day CCIX +_.
High Hi-(GYM)-ks 百五日
Our study group went smooth as usual, this time, finally in its intended place, my house. And with a full crew.
Late that night, Dentistry-Dame and I went on the same carnival, this time to enjoy a sort of glam-rock-pop group of the early 2000s, they don't have as many hits, so the show was shorter, but it was nice.

I hate inconstancy- I loathe, detest
Abhor, condemn, abjure the mortal made
Of such quicksilver clay that in his breast
No permanent foundation can be laid;
Love, constant love, has been my guest,
And yet last night, being at a masquerade,
I saw the prettiest creature, fresh from Milan,
Which gave me some sensations like a villain.

CCXX in the world and the hereafter. And they ask you about orphans. Say, “Improvement for them is best; and if you get involved with them, they are your brethren. And God (Allah) knows the spoilers from those who bring about improvement. And God (Allah) would have ruined you with hardship, if God (Allah) wished; for God (Allah) is most powerful, most wise.”
CCXIX They ask you about wine and betting. Say, “There is great sin in them, and also advantages for people; but their sin is greater than their advantage.” And they ask you what they should spend. Say, “The surplus.”Thus does God (Allah) clarify the signs for you, so that you may reflect,
CCXVIII As for those who believed, and those who went into exile and struggled in the cause of God (Allah), they look forward to the mercy of God (Allah); and God (Allah) is most forgiving, most merciful.
CCXVII They ask you about fighting in the sacred month. Say, “Fighting then is an atrocity; but more atrocious to God (Allah) is blocking the way to the path of God (Allah), denying God, (Allah) preventing access to the sacred mosque, and driving out its people.And persecution is worse than killing.They will not stop fighting you until they turn you back from your religion, if they can.And any among you who turn back from their religion and die as atheists, their acts will be fruitless in the world and the hereafter; and they are the inmates of hellfire, where they remain.
CCXVI Fighting is prescribed for you, even if it is abhorrent to you. It may be that you dislike something that is good for you, and it may be that you like something that is bad for you. God (Allah) knows and you do not know.
CCXV They ask you, “What shall we spend?” Say, “Whatever you spend of good is for parents and kin, the orphaned and the needy, and the traveler. And whatever good you do, God (Allah) knows all about it.”
CCXIV Or do you suppose you will enter paradise without there having happened to you the likes of what happened to those who passed away before you? Misery and distress befell them, and they were so shaken that the messenger and those who believed with him said,“When will God’s (Allah’s) help come?” Ah, but the help of God (Allah) is near!
CCXIII Humanity used to be one community: and God (Allah) sent messengers bringing good news and warning; and God (Allah) sent with them scripture with truth, in order to judge between people regarding that wherein they differed.But they did not differ among themselves about it, except those to whom it was given, after proofs came to them, out of mutual envy. God (Allah) guided the believers to that part of truth whereon they differed by divine permission. And God (Allah) guides whom God (Allah) will to a straight path.
CCXII The life of the world has been made to appear pleasing to atheists, and they ridicule believers; but the conscientious will be above them on the day of resurrection. And God (Allah) provides for whomever God (Allah) will, without measure.
CCXI Ask the Children of Israel how many clear signs We gave them.If anyone exchanges the favor of God (Allah) after it has come to him, surely God (Allah) is severe in punishment.
CCX Do they expect the matter to be settled only if God (Allah) comes to them in a canopy of clouds, and the angels too? All things derive from God (Allah).
CCIX And if you slip after proofs come to you, know that God (Allah) is powerful and wise.
CCVIII O believers, enter wholly into peace,and do not follow the footsteps of Satan, for he is an open enemy to you.
CCVII There is also a kind of person who dedicates himself to trying to please God (Allah). And God (Allah) is kind to devotees.
CCVI Yet when he is told to be conscious of God (Allah), pride drives him to crime; so hell is enough for him. And what a miserable place to rest!
CCV and when he is empowered he strives to do violence on earth, destroying the crops and livestock. But God (Allah) does not love violence.
CCIV There is a kind of person whose talk about the life of the world pleases you, and he calls God (Allah) to witness about what is in his heart, and he is the most argumentative in disputation;
CCIII And remembrance God (Allah) during the appointed days. But there is no blame on anyone who hurries off in two days, and no blame on anyone who stays longer, if he is conscientious. Be conscious of God (Allah), and know you will be gathered unto God (Allah).
CCII For them is a portion of what they have earned; and God (Allah) is quick to account.
CCI Yet there are some who say, “Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the hereafter; and keep us from the torment of the fire.”
CC And when you have completed your rites, remembrance God (Allah) as you used to remembrance your ancestors, but with more intense recollection. There are people who say, “Our Lord, give to us in this life,” and have no part in the hereafter.
CXCIX Then pour out from where the people pour, and ask forgiveness of God (Allah); for God (Allah) is most forgiving, most merciful.
CXCVIII It is no crime for you to seek bounty from your Lord. When you pour from Arafat, the Place of Recognition, remembrance God (Allah) at the sacred shrine; and remember God (Allah) as God (Allah) has guided you in spite of your having been lost before that.
CXCVII There are predetermined months for the major pilgrimage: so if any decide upon the pilgrimage then, let there be no obscenity or iniquity; and let there be no contention on the pilgrimage. And whatever good you may do, God (Allah) knows it. And provide for the journey, even though the best provision is conscientiousness. So be conscious of Me, you who are intelligent.
CXCVI And fulfill the major and minor pilgrimages to God (Allah). But if you are prevented from doing so, then substitute a convenient sacrifice. And do not shave your heads until the offering reaches the place of sacrifice. And if any of you is ill or has an affliction of the head, let him compensate with fasting, charity, or sacrifice. When you are secure, anyone who consummates the minor pilgrimage with the major pilgrimage is to make a convenient sacrifice; but if one cannot obtain the wherewithal, then one is to fast for three days during the major pilgrimage, and seven when you return— that is, ten days in all. That is for those whose household is not near the sacred mosque. And be conscious of God (Allah), and know that God (Allah) is severe in punishment.
CXCV And spend for the sake of God (Allah), and do not invest in ruin by your own hands. And do good; for God (Allah) loves those who do good.
CXCIV The sacred month for the sacred month and retribution for the taboos; if anyone is aggressive toward you, then you be aggressive toward him, with the equivalent of his aggression toward you. But be conscious of God (Allah), and know that God (Allah) is with the conscientious.
CXCIII And fight them until there is no more strife, and there is the religion of God (Allah). And if they stop, then let there be no hostility, except against wrongdoers.
CXCII But if they stop, God (Allah) is most forgiving, most merciful.
CXCI And kill them wherever you catch them, and drive them from where they drove you; for civil war is more violent than execution. But do not fight them in the precincts of the sacred mosque, unless they fight you there. If they fight you, then kill them; such is the reward of the scoffers.
CXC And fight for the sake of God (Allah) those who fight you; but do not be brutal or commit aggression, for God (Allah) does not love brutal aggressors.
CLXXXIX They ask you about the new moons: Say they are timetables for people, and for the pilgrimage. And there is no virtue in entering houses from the rear; rather, the virtuous one is the one who is conscientious. So go into houses by way of their doors; and be wary of God (Allah), that you may thrive.
CLXXXVIII And do not consume your wealth among yourselves in vanity, or use it to bribe judges so you can unjustly but knowingly consume some of the people’s wealth.
CLXXXVII It is permitted for you to make love with your wives on a night of the fast: they are a garment for you, and you are a garment for them. God (Allah) knows you used to cheat yourselves, yet God (Allah) turned to you and pardoned you. So be intimate with them now, and seek what God (Allah) has prescribed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread becomes distinct from the black thread, from the dawn. Then fast completely until night. And do not make love to women when you are in retreat in the mosque. Those are the limits ordained by God (Allah), so do not approach them then. Thus does God (Allah) make divine models clear to humanity, that they may be conscientious.
CLXXXVI When My servants ask you about Me, I am close indeed—I hearken to the prayer of the supplicant when one calls on Me; so let them hearken to Me, and let them believe in Me, that they may go the right way.
CLXXXV The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’an was revealed, as guidance for humanity, and demonstrations in the way of guidance and discrimination. So whoever among you is present that month should fast. If anyone is ill or on a journey, then the prescribed term is to be from other days. God (Allah) wishes ease for you, not hardship; and that you fulfill the prescribed terms, and that you celebrate God (Allah) for guiding you; and that you may be grateful.
CLXXXIV It is for a determined number of days. But if any of you is sick, or on a journey, then the prescribed term is to be from other days. And a ransom is incumbent upon those who are able, the feeding of a pauper. But if anyone willingly does even better, then that is better for him; yet it is better for you to fast, if you only knew.
CLXXXIII O believers, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may be conscientious.
CLXXXII But if anyone fears bias or wrongdoing from the testator and reconciles the parties, there is no wrongdoing on his part; for God (Allah) is most forgiving, most merciful.
CLXXXI And if anyone changes it after having heard it, the guilt is on those who change it; for God (Allah) is all-hearing and all-knowing.
CLXXX It is prescribed for you, when death comes to one of you, if he leaves any goods, that the legacy go to his parents and next of kin, as is fair, as appropriate for the conscientious.
CLXXIX There is life for you in requital, you who are reasonable, so you may be conscientious.
CLXXVIII Believers, requital is prescribed for you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But if anyone is forgiven anything by his brother, let fairness be observed, and goodly compensation. That is a concession from your Lord, and a mercy. So for anyone who transgresses after that there is a painful punishment.
CLXXVII Righteousness is not that you should turn your faces to the East and the West; rather, the righteous are those who believe in God (Allah) and the last day, and the angels and scripture and prophets; and who give material gifts out of love for God (Allah), even of what they care for, to relatives and orphans, and the poor and the traveler and the needy, and for the purpose of liberating the enslaved; and who pray regularly and give alms; and who fulfill their promises when they promise; and those who are patient in misfortune, affliction, and hard times: they are the ones who confirm the truth, and they are the conscientious.
CLXXVI That is because God (Allah) revealed scripture in truth, and those who differ on scripture are profoundly estranged.
CLXXV They are those who exchange guidance for error, and forgiveness for punishment; and how they will suffer in the fire!
CLXXIV As for those who conceal what God (Allah) has revealed in scripture and exchange it for a trifle, they will consume nothing but fire, and God (Allah) will not talk to them on the day of resurrection, and will not purify them; and they will have a painful punishment.
CLXXIII God (Allah) has only forbidden you carrion, and blood, and the flesh of the swine, and that over which other than God (Allah) has been invoked. But there is no transgression or blame on those who are compelled by necessity, without wanting to or going too far. For God (Allah) is most forgiving, most merciful.
CLXXII Believers, eat of the good things We have provided for you, and be grateful to God (Allah), if it is God (Allah) that you worship.
CLXXI What those who scoff are like is one who calls to those who hear nothing but cries and shouts. Deaf, dumb, and blind, they do not understand.
CLXX And when they are told to follow what God (Allah) has revealed, they say, “No, we will follow what we found our fathers doing.” Even if their fathers did not understand anything and were unguided?
CLXIX He only commands you what is evil and shameful, and that you should say of God (Allah) what you do not know.
CLVIII O people, eat of what is lawful and good on the earth; and do not follow the footsteps of Satan, for he is an open enemy to you.
CLXVII And those who followed would say, “If only we had a chance, we would free ourselves from them as they freed themselves from us.” Thus will God (Allah) show them their deeds, as sorrows to them. And they will not be getting out of the fire.
CLXVI Then those who are followed would free themselves from those who follow, and would see the penalty; and all connections would be cut off by them.
CLXV Yet among the people are those who take to idols instead of God (Allah), loving them as God (Allah) should be loved. But those who believe are stronger in love for God (Allah). And if those who’ve gone wrong could see, when they saw the penalty; they’d see all power is God’s (Allah’s), and that God (Allah) is severe in punishment.
CLXIV Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and day, and the ships that sail the sea for the benefit of humanity, and the water God (Allah) sends down from the sky, with which God (Allah) enlivens the earth after its death, and distributes all kinds of animals thereupon; and the coursing of the winds, and the clouds employed between sky and earth, surely there are signs for people who discern.
CLXIII For your God (Allah) is one God (Allah); there is no deity besides the Benevolent, the Merciful.
CLXII They will remain in that condition; and the torment will not be eased for them, and they will not be given respite.
CLXI As for those who scoff and die scoffers, on them is the curse of God, of the angels, and of all humanity.
CLX except those who repent and make amends, and clarify; then I turn to them. And I am most relenting, most merciful.
CLIX As for those who conceal the evidences and the guidance We have sent down, after We made them clear to humanity in scripture, God (Allah) curses them, and those who can curse curse them;
CLVIII Note that the mountains Safa and Marwa are among the emblems of God (Allah): so whoever makes the seasonal pilgrimage to the House, or an off-season pilgrimage, it is not held against anyone if he circles them both. And if anyone willingly does what is good, God (Allah) is appreciative and cognizant.
CLVII They are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy; and they are the ones who are guided.
CLVI those who say, when calamity afflicts them, “We belong to God (Allah), and to God (Allah) we return.”
CLV We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of possessions, persons, or crops. But give good news to the patient,
CLIV And do not say of those who are killed in the way of God (Allah) that they are dead. No—they are alive, although you do not perceive.
CLIII O believers, seek help with patience and prayer; for God (Allah) is with the patient.
CLII So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
CLI as We have sent to you a messenger from among you, who recites Our signs to you and purifies you and teaches you scripture and wisdom, and teaches you what you did not know.
CL Wherever you set out from, turn your face toward the direction of the sacred mosque; and wherever you are, turn your faces in that direction, that the people have no cause of dispute against you, except those of them who have gone wrong. So do not fear them, but fear Me, that I may complete My favor to you, and that you may accept guidance:
CXLIX Wherever you start out from, turn your face to the direction of the sacred mosque. This is the truth from your Lord; God (Allah) is not heedless of what you do.
CXLVIII Everyone has an aim, to which God (Allah) gives direction; so preserve everything good. Wherever you are, God (Allah) will bring you together. For God (Allah) has power over everything.
CXLVII The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters.
CXLVI Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons; but some of them do conceal the truth, even though they know.
CXLV Even if you brought all the signs to those who’ve been given scripture, they would not follow your direction of prayer. And you are not a follower of their direction of prayer; and they are not followers of each other’s direction of prayer. If you were to follow their desires after knowledge has come to you, you would certainly be in the wrong.
CXLIV We see the turning of your face to the sky; so We will turn you to a direction of prayer that you will find pleasing. Turn your face to the sacred mosque: wherever you are, turn your faces in its direction. Those to whom scripture has been given will know that this is the truth from their Lord. And God (Allah) is not heedless of what they do.
CXLIII Thus We have made you a centered nation, that you may be witnesses to humanity, and the messenger a witness to you. And We only established the direction of prayer to which you had been accustomed that We might know those who follow the messenger from those who turn back on their heels. It was indeed an enormity, except to those God (Allah) has guided. And God (Allah) would not let your faith die; for God (Allah) is compassionate and merciful to humanity.
CXLII Ignorant people will say, “What has turned them from the direction of prayer to which they were accustomed?” Say, “To God (Allah) belong the East and the West: God (Allah) guides to a straight path whomever God (Allah) wills.”
CXLI That was a people that has passed away; they will get what they earned, and you will get what you earned. And you will not be questioned about what they used to do.
CXL “Or do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes were Jews or Christians?” Say, “Do you know better, or does God (Allah)?” And who is more wrong than those who conceal the testimony they have from God (Allah)? God (Allah) is not heedless of what you do!
CXXXIX Say, “Do you dispute with us about God (Allah), even though God (Allah) is our Lord and your Lord too, and we are responsible for our acts while you are responsible for your acts, and we are sincere to God (Allah)?
CXXXVIII Here is baptism from God (Allah); and who is better at baptism than God (Allah)? And we are devotees of God (Allah).
CXXXVII So if they believe as you believe, they have already been guided; but if they turn away, then it is they alone who are being separatist. So God (Allah) will suffice you against them; and God (Allah) is all-hearing, all-knowing.
CXXXVI Say, “We believe in God (Allah), and what was revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not make a distinction between any of them; we acquiesce to God (Allah).”
CXXXV They say, “Become Jews or Christians, and you will be guided.” Say, “But the religion of Abraham is rightly oriented; he was not an idolater.”
CXXXIV That was a people that has passed away: they will get what they earned, and you will get what you earned. And you will not be questioned about what they used to do.
CXXXIII Were you witness when death came to Jacob? He said to his sons, “What will you worship after my passing?” They said, “We will worship your God (Allah), the God (Allah) of your fathers— Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac— One God (Allah), to whom we have surrendered.”
CXXXII And Abraham enjoined his sons to do so, as did Jacob: “O my sons! God (Allah) has chosen religion for you, so that you should not die without being acquiescent.”
