I was googling for something totally different & this popped up! Remember when I had a 12-episode TV show on Amazon Prime for a blink of an eye before they had second thoughts, deemed it "too risque" & removed it from their catalog? I think it was available for a month or two? It was in 2017, called Outside the Box. It's still in the catalogue but every episode is marked "unavailable." I mean, I'm the one that teaches, "you can revoke consent any time, even if you've already agreed. Even if you're in the middle of the act." But .... I didn't mean it like THAT 🤣😂 And yes, making jokes distracts me from being annoyed at the continual s3xual health censorship & the hypocrisy of "Give us something s3xy to put on TV because people like that & it's good for ratings ... Alternatives to Tumblr

Was trying to work within Tumblr’s new non-adult rules but it’s become pointless. I removed all our more risque content and started contesting most of the innocent posts their (stupid) algorithm is flagging, but much of our bubblegum content is still being deemed adult even once a human has reviewed the posts. “Hey Tumblr, they’re just photos of guys in underwear for fucks sake! would you flag a billboard of Marky Mark in a Calvin Klein boxer brief? Your bot would.”

Although I’m not ready to delete our Tumblr account and content (still traffic heading from Tumblr to our website), I won’t be posting anything new - it’s just not worth the hassle. 

Anyway, my search for Tumblr Alternatives has been pretty successful. I’m loving: 

Vero: (although it’s a pain in the ass being only a phone app so far). They do allow some adult content, just not too graphic - which is pretty much our content. It’s easy to grasp and is much like Instagram except without Instagram’s stupid algorithms that determine what you will or “should” see. Mastodon: It’s essentially like Twitter except not owned by a commercial entity and pretty much anything goes except obviously illegal stuff. Although a bit confusing to figure out, when you do it’s fairly simple. The main difference is you have to choose a server to join and most servers have a theme - but there’s a number of LGBT and sex positive servers to join. Pillowfort: This is still in beta but looks to be heading to be very similar to Tumblr. You can’t just sign up to join right now, but if you’re willing to send them $5 through paypal, they’ll let you join to try it out (and snag your username!). I’ve also transferred our content over to 2mblr but that service is really in it’s infancy and too early to say if it’s worth even mentioning.

Who uses #steepshot ? It’s like Instagram but they don’t censor and remove Art that *gasp* depicts the nude human form. Our society shows children, real children, scared shitless and being shot at on television 24/7, but any hint at beauty and appreciation of the human form is shunned.
