If you got the opportunity to add one thing to the canon of any of your fandoms, what would that be? Maybe there’s a character who didn’t get much of a backstory/storyline and you’d like to do something with them, maybe a show was axed too soon and you had thoughts on what could happen in a subsequent season, maybe there’s a new episode you’d like to have added.

I don't know why, but for whatever reason I've been really psyched to get to Diglett! :p Something about how derpy and simple the little guy is...he's one of the important ones, to me. YOU HEAR ME DIGLETT? YOU'RE IMPORTANT TO ME, LITTE GUY. <sobs> <sniffs> <pulls self together> Oh, also Dugtrio- who I've decided is one entity, beneath the surface :p  You know...mutant Dugtrio, right? Also also- I've been meaning to take part in the challenges for a while now, but I never get it together in time. However, who could pass up the opportunity to turn Diglett into a fairy-type? NOT THIS GUY.  You're welcome, diglett :p Woop! It's my birthday! And this is what I wanted to do :)

A goal is defined as the object of a person's ambition or effort. For this challenge, you are to make a goal or two or, well, as many as you wish to.

Do you want to write that fanfic that has been on your mind? Make that essay on the meta of your favorite fandom? Learn a new language? Read your stack of To Be Read books? Finally watch every episode of every version of The Twilight Zone?

Since this can be a bit personal, you can, as always, simply keep your journal locked and comment that you did it.

The beginning of a new year can feel like a magical time, full of promise and hope. It can be a great time to make a few goals for the year ahead. Your goals don't need to be big or span the whole year. They can be as big or as small as you want them to be. You don't even need to complete your goals in order to consider them successful. Every little step closer toward what you're trying to achieve can be viewed as a success. Remember: progress not perfection ♥

Did you forget about CHALLENGES? I hope not!

OK, I'll admit, I myself forgot about The Challenges. I have a good reason, but also, I'm pretty forgetful. But look! I'm here to announce a new one! EXCITING!!!

Remember, these are completely voluntary! It's just a chance to work to a theme, if you like doing that, or try to doing something different. It's been pretty great seeing the ones submitted so far and it would be even better to see more people participating!

wichi-lea was the person to choose the the theme of Challenge 03, which was "Draw a Pokemon doing an attack move based on their skill tree!" That means she also got to choose her favorite as the winner. She chose Exponelephant's Raticate Uses Focus Energy! Soooooooo

Challenge 04, as determined by Exponelephant:

Challenge 04:

Draw a Pokemon as if it were a Fairy type Pokemon. This could mean just changing its hue, giving it cuter features, or maybe just stick some fairy wings on it. Since we don't know many or much about Fairy types yet, feel free to interpret what you think a Fairy type is or should be.

As always, please tag your challenge entries with #challenge04 (no space!) so it’s easy to find them. :] It may get completely missed otherwise!

How about a due date of 3 weeks? I'll even put the due date in my Google calendar which means I will definitely remember to stay on top of it! So, entries are due by 24 September!

Goals for the year:

-Figure out what to do with my podfics. As much as I love them I have some irl people too close for comfort to my fandom life who I worry would make my life a living hell if they figured out who I was. I’m also moving forward with an audiobook side gig and need to figure out where my online persona fits in with that.

-Write 100k

-TDDK bang

-On top of that, I have a slow burn endhawks idea forming, a krbk one shot based on some beautiful art, as well as another krbk alternate dimension fic I’ve been playing with since last spring that I’d like to write. I’ve also got an unfinished piece I started last year for LCDrarry that would be fun to revisit.
