Dutch culture is truly fascinating, because for no reason whatsoever we will always find ourselves sitting in a circle that continues to grow with every person who joins the gathering. Eventually, you can only talk to the people directly besides you, so choose wisely when you first sit down.

Why is there so much space? where did the table go? We don't know. You're fighting for you life against an achternichtje you've never met before in your life. If you wolf it down in record speed you might get away with asking for a second one. But even if you devour that piece in a single bite the likelihood of you getting a second one is next to none. BTW, good luck setting down that plate. You're holding that one now, clinging to it for dear life, until the host walks a round to collect them all.

This is literally all you're getting for the rest of the evening. Except the toothpics are not inserted, they're in a jar halfway across the globe. Making an attempt to grab it is not appreciated, but neither is just picking something up with your hands. You suffer.

If something runs out... shame. It might get refilled once if the person hosting is rich and wealthy (I'm talking gold faucets in the bathroom) otherwise, this is it for 20 people.

Does little Max often comment about driving? Does he sometimes watch old race repeats while little?

Yes he does! He knows exactly how to drive because it is so ingrained in him, Daniel obviously doesn’t let him drive, but in theory with the knowledge he has he could.

I think he would sometimes pretend to drive in the passenger seat, turning his imaginary wheel, pushing the imaginary pedals etc etc.

Daniel loves it, especially when Max makes little road ragey comments like “that person went so wide on that corner” and “indicators exist and they don’t use them”

I don’t think he has any interest in watching the races, but I think he likes to hear the dramatised stories Daniel tells him about the races ♥️

No offense, but 1997 was a delicious year for music. Some of my favourites are Bitch - Meredith Brooks (which really sets the tone tbh) Torn - Natalie Imbruglia, MMMBop - Hanson, Love Shine a Light - Katrina & The Waves, and the classic, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) - Green Day - 24. Do you play any instruments?

My parents really tried to get me into playing instruments. My entire family do, so it was somewhat expected that I would too. I took a few classes, said 'no thank you' and here we are. I do however at times write lyrics to my brother's original songs tho - so that's cool! - 64. [Send me a color and I’ll post an album cover art of that color.]

oh i def have blog recs. i did one on my old blog but that one's gone forever. red is for blogs with heavy carlos content and orange are for blogs with heavy lando content, green is for general f1 blogs i enjoy, and blue is for fic blogs. i'm probably forgetting some and i apologise!

@redshoulderedblackbirds carlos and lando fan. says what she feels and i respect it. funny and true to what she feels. writes amazing carlando fanfiction.

@hibiscus-vroom staunch carlos supporter (as she should be). big lewis fan as well. writes amazing carlando fanfiction.

Okay so because you started with the back gif I had a weirdly wholesome? soft? thought.

Fernando letting (reader) go to town with some markers colouring in his tattoo to help calm them down because he knows they want to colour in but they also want hugs and contact.

I'm literally losing my mind over this, mostly because this would be beyond the human realm of softness.

It's not something he'd ever suggest, nor is it something he'll allow without a sarcastic remark or at the very least an eye roll. But he knows you've been tracing his tattoo with your fingertips for a while now. Just as he knows that the few strokes of red which used to be there have faded with time.

He struggles with sitting still, and it's a bit uncomfortable because you have your arm around his shoulder so you're just squeezed against his back while trying to colour. He runs his fingers up and down your arm in soothing patterns, though, so it's not all bad.

Halfway through he gets fidgety. Reaching for things, moving around so much that it's nearly impossible to get any colouring done. Only half the tattoo is in colour when you decide to call it quits and just press your forehead against it.

(Yes, the markers will stain your skin too, but that's part of the fun.)

It's not that he doesn't want to give you the opportunity to colour in his tattoo, or that he doesn't want to help you calm down/relax. It's just that he genuinely doesn't know how to physically sit still for so long. So yeah, you never quite get to finish that tattoo, but you do get to have him place soft kisses against the arm he's holding (hostage) and generally a whole lot of hugs and contact.
