कोविड-19 के तहत अनलॉक-2 की गाइडलाइन अब प्रदेश सरकार के स्तर से बुधवार को जारी की जाएगी। अभी सरकार के स्तर पर राज्य की स्थिति के अनुसार मंथन किया जा रहा है। अनलॉक-2 में गृह मंत्रालय ने राज्यों को बहुत हद तक रियायत भी दी है।

शासन के सूत्रों के मुताबिक इस गाइडलाइन पर मंथन किया जा रहा है। पहले कोशिश मंगलवार को ही जारी करने की योजना थी, अब यह गाइडलाइन बुधवार को जारी की जाएगी। यह भी देखा जा रहा है कि चारधाम यात्रा के लिए यह नई गाइडलाइन किस तरह से मुफीद होगी। 

अनलॉक में निजी व सामाजिक व्यवहार अच्छा होना चाहिए

उत्तराखंड विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने अनलॉक-01 के बाद अब अनलॉक-02 में हमें व्यक्तिगत एवं सामाजिक व्यवहार को ठीक रखना होगा। लापरवाहपूर्ण व्यवहार हमें संकट में डाल सकता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि मंगलवार को प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने संबोधन में खासतौर पर इस बात का जिक्र किया है। इस बात का प्रत्येक नागरिक को ध्यान रखना चाहिए। उन्होंने गरीब कल्याण योजना से नवंबर तक 80 करोड़ लोगों को मुफ्त अनाज दिए जाने को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त किया।

प्रदेश सरकार ने अनलॉक के दौरान छूट में ढील देते हुए रविवार को होने वाली साप्ताहिक बंदी को समाप्त कर दिया है। जिसके बाद अब विकासनगर क्षेत्र में पूर्व की व्यवस्था के तहत शनिवार को ही साप्ताहिक बंदी रहेगी। मंगलवार को एसडीएम सौरभ असवाल ने इस संबंध में आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं। यह आदेश पूरे तहसील क्षेत्र के व्यापारियों पर लागू होंगे। 

एसडीएम ने आदेश में कहा कि साप्ताहिक बंदी के दौरान सभी दुकानें पूर्णत: बंद रहेंगी। इस दौरान सिर्फ मेडिकल, डेयरी, फल, सब्जी की दुकानें और पेट्रोल पंप को खोलने की इजाजत रहेगी। इसके अतिरिक्त यदि कोई दुकानदार अपनी दुकान खोलता है तो उसके खिलाफ आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम के तहत कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

वहीं, विकासनगर व्यापार मंडल अध्यक्ष अमरजीत सिंह, हरबर्टपुर मंडल अध्यक्ष ऋषभ अग्रवाल, सेलाकुई मंडल अध्यक्ष चैतन्य अनिल गौड़, जिला महामंत्री अनिल जैन और डाकपत्थर व्यापार मंडल अध्यक्ष बृजमोहन गुप्ता ने सभी व्यापारियों से आदेशों का अनुपालन करने की अपील की है।

मालूम हो कि पूर्व तक क्षेत्र में शनिवार को साप्ताहिक बंदी रहती थी, लेकिन महामारी को देखते हुए रविवार को भी साप्ताहिक बंदी होने लगी थी। एसडीएम सौरभ असवाल ने बताया कि साप्ताहिक बंदी के दौरान यदि कोई छूट में शामिल दुकानों के अतिरिक्त अन्य दुकान खोलता है तो उसके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

Char Dham Yatra — The ways to Attain Moksh or Salvation in Hinduism

Moksh !!! A word with which every Hindu is able to relate. Attaining salvation is the ultimate purpose of life is Hinduism. It is a popular belief within the Hindu community conducting Char Dham Yatra is one of the ways to attain Moksh or Salvation. This what gets to me to write the blog about the pious Chardham yatra.

Before getting into the technical details let me take you a walk down the lane of history of Chardham Yatra. Chardham Yatra was founded around 1200 years ago by the renowned sage Shri Adi Shankaracharya. While, the original Chardham yatra comprised of Badrinath, Dwarka, Puri and Rameshwaram the latter in 20th century was shortened to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri and Gangotri.

The cost, duration in the newer version of Chardham yatra was lesser compared to the original Chardham yatra. In order to absolve oneself of all the bad karma;s one undertakes the journey of Chardham, this is the major driving force behind this tour which attracts Lakhs of tourist every year, ultimately giving livelihood options to the people residing in these areas. Not many are aware that Chardham Yatra is undertaken in a sequence and people land up conducting the pilgrimage in a manner that suits their convenience.

Best Time For Chardham yatra

The Chardham yatra is open period of May to September (Excluded July due to heavy Rainy Season), with every year having a different opening and closing date based on the Hindu tradition of parikrama or clockwise succession.

The reason to follow the sequence is because of the significance attached to it. The sequence is as follows Yamunotri, Gangotri, kedarnath and Badrinath.

To begin with Yamunotri, it is the believed that Yamuna is the sister of Yamraj. On the auspicious occasion of Bhaidooj Yamraj promised Yamuna that whosoever takes a dip in the holy river of Yamuna would not be taken to Yamlok and attain salvation.

The next is Gangotri, the source of river Ganga which descended to Earth upon the meditation of king Bhagirath, it is said that by bathing in the Ganges one is not only freed from all their sins but also embraces goodness.

Kedarnath shrine dedicated to lord Shiva is one of the most important ,shrines in the Chardham yatra and it attains this importance due to the fact that is it also a part of 12 jyotirlinga’s.( Blog on 12 Jyotirlinga to follow soon).

Badrinath, last but not the least this shrine id dedicated to lord Vishnu who is the protector and preserver of the entire universe. This place has special importance as Shri Adi Shankaracharya attained salvation over here and became free on the cycle reincarnation.

Route & Time Taken to Chardham yatra

Inspite of the four sites being located pretty close to each other the higher mountain ranges make it very difficult to have a direct road connection amongst them.

I started my Pilgrimage with Yamunotri the first dham which is located in Uttarkashi district, one has to stay in Janki Chatti and then undertake a 6 km walk to the main temple. There are three temples along the route the first one being Ram Temple which lies to your right. You will get a hot water spring at Yamunotri. It would take approx 4–6 hours to travel from Janki chatti to Yamunotri.

After soaking in the experience of Yamunotri I proceeded to Gangotri from Janki Chatti. I started my journey at round 6 am and reached the Gangotri before sunset. The temple of Gangotri is located in the town itself, though the origin is in Gomukh. This leaves many of the pilgrims in a fix whether to travel all the way to Gomukh. The trek to Gomukh would take 2 days from Gangotri. The first destination on the route being Bhojbasa, the trek is 14kms from Gangotri which is pretty steep for the first 100 steps which leaves one exhausted though after it the trek is a cakewalk. The time duration is of 6–8 hours. Bhojbasa has located 4 km from Gomukh. One can start early next day and reach Gomukh in an hour and a half. Gomukh being the is the source of river Ganga completes your pilgrim to Gangotri. Spend some time at Gomukh and walk back to Bhojbasa. The distance Bhojbasa to Gangotri should be completed in nearly 4 hours. Gangotri completed my second dham and also taught me to be closer to nature and feel the sense of serenity. Away from the hustle bustle of life it gave me one important lesson of life “Stay tuned with nature and things will fall in place” You can take back your own learning which I am sure will be pretty different and thoughtful.

The Lord revered by the human’s as well the ghost; yes you guessed it right Shiv. The aesthetic yogi, who is absorbed within himself. The third dham is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Kedarnath. Kedarnath is located in the Rudraprayag district. I started my journey to the mystical place. One has to travel to kedarnath from Gangotri is via Gaurikund and I will intimate you in advance that it is a whopping 310 kms via the mountainous ranges and it could take as long as 14 Kms to reach Gaurikund. The buses start as early as 4 am and the last bus leaves at 7 am after which there are no direct buses. One may have to take a pit stop at Uttarkashi in order to reach Gaurikund.

Gaurikund is where the road concludes itself from there one has to walk the trail. For Kedarnath yatra one needs to obtain a fitness certificate which can be obtained from Sonprayag. Incase if your health conditions are not sound you may be denied the trek of 14kms. Don’t be disheartened one still has the option to go by helicopter. The view of kedarnath is worth every pain one undertakes. The 3,000 year old temple with Himalayan backdrop is a treat to an eye. Pandavas had built this temple which makes it all the more significant.

Post the health checkup if one is allowed to undertake the trek their next stop from Gaurikund would be Rambara. Posts the disastrous flood of 2013 people have fear instilled in their minds that route is no longer safe. However, My experience was quite positive while trekking. Rambara is 11Km away from Gaurikund.

Rambara is 3 Km away from Kedarnath which takes around 2–3 hours to reach the temple. After obtaining the blessings of Kedarnath one can come and stay at Gaurikund. Kedarnath taught me detachment, to be part of the society and yet detach oneself from them. Yes this is what Lord Shiva also embraces.

After a Night stay at Gaurikund I headed to Badrinath. The distance from Gaurikund to Badrinath is 300 Km and one take’s roughly 10–12 Hours to reach Badrinath.

Badrinath along with being the abode of Lord Vishnu is also the source of river Alakhnanda. What makes Badrinath equally important is the belief that Pandavas had passed through Badrinath and the town of Mana, which has famous Mana caves where sage Vyasya is believed to have written Mahabharta.

After completing the Fourth Dham one can leave for Rishikesh next day morning. The buses start as early as 4 am.

देहरादून नगर निगम क्षेत्र, गढ़ी कैंट और क्लेमेंटटाउन छावनी परिषद के सभी धार्मिक स्थल, मॉल और रेस्टोरेंट 90 दिन बाद आज से सुबह सात से रात आठ बजे तक खुलेंगे। हालांकि मौजूदा स्थिति को देखते हुए प्रशासन ने अभी होटल नहीं खोलने का निर्णय लिया है। वहीं, बार की सुविधा वाले रेस्टोरेंट में बार बंद रहेंगे। इस दौरान दो गज की दूरी और मास्क अनिवार्य रहेगा। वहीं, कंटेनमेंट जोन में मौजूद धार्मिक स्थल, होटल और मॉल बंद रहेंगे। जिलाधिकारी ने मंगलवार को इसके आदेश जारी कर दिए। 

जिलाधिकारी डॉ. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि करीब एक महीने पहले नगर निगम देहरादून क्षेत्र व गढ़ी कैंट और क्लेमेंटटाउन छावनी परिषद में स्थित धार्मिक स्थलों, मॉल, रेस्टोरेंट और होटल को बंद रखने के आदेश जारी किए गए थे। इसी कड़ी में अब यहां धार्मिक स्थल, मॉल खुल सकेंगे। होटलों पर निर्णय बाद में लिया जाएगा, जबकि रेस्टोरेंट खोले जाएंगे। 

बताया कि प्रमुख धार्मिक स्थलों पर सैनिटाइजर और साबुन से हाथ धोने की व्यवस्था की जाएगी। मंदिरों में घंटी बजाने पर प्रतिबंध रहेगा। धार्मिक स्थलों में प्रवेश से पहले हाथ-पैर साबुन से धोने होंगे। केवल उन्हीं लोगों को प्रवेश कराया जाएगा, जिनमें के लक्षण नहीं हैं। इसके अलावा मस्जिदों में भी शारीरिक दूरी का पालन करते हुए नमाज पढ़ी जाएगी।

रेस्टोरेंट, मॉल को सैनिटाइज करना ह��गा। शॉपिंग मॉल के गेट पर प्रबंधन को सैनिटाइजर, थर्मल स्क्रीनिंग की व्यवस्था करनी होगी। बगैर मास्क पहने किसी को प्रवेश नहीं दिया जाएगा। इतना ही नहीं ग्राहकों के बीच दो गज की दूरी जरूरी होगी। 

डीएम ने बताया कि हाई रिस्क वाले शहरों से दून आने वाले लोगों को सात दिन इंस्टीट्यूशनल क्वारंटीन किया जाएगा। बगैर क्वारंटीन किए उन्हें आवास पर नहीं भेजा जाएगा। बताया कि केंद्र सरकार की ओर से बीते दिनों हाई रिस्क वाले 31 शहरों की सूची जारी की गई थी। 

इन बातों का रखना होगा ध्यान 

– मॉल प्रबंधक को सैनिटाइजर व थर्मल स्क्रीनिंग की व्यवस्था करनी होगी। – मास्क अनिवार्य, सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग के लिए गोले बनाने होंगे।  – होम डिलिवरी स्टाफ को हेल्थ चेकअप के बाद ही अनुमति।  – दरवाजे के हैंडल, बेंच को बार-बार सैनिटाइज करना होगा। 

प्रशासन ने आज से धार्मिक स्थल, मॉल और रेस्टोरेंट खोलने के आदेश जारी किए हैं। लोगों से अपील है कि दो गज की दूरी का पालन हरहाल में करें। मास्क लगाकर ही घर से निकलें। अगर कोई इन नियमों का पालन करता हुआ नहीं मिलता है तो उसके खिलाफ आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम के तहत कार्रवाई की जाएगी। – डॉ. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव, जिलाधिकार

अनलॉक 1.0 के तहत 30 जून तक बंद रहने के बाद एक जुलाई से कॉलेज बंद रखने पर असमंजस पैदा हो गया है। इन हालात में गृह मंत्रालय के पत्र का हवाला देते हुए डीएवी व डीबीएस कॉलेज प्रशासन ने 31 जुलाई तक कॉलेज बंद रखने का आदेश जारी कर दिया है। हालांकि एसजीआरआर पीजी कॉलेज ने फिलहाल बुधवार को ही बंदी का आदेश जारी किया है।

अनलॉक 1.0 के दिशा निर्देशों के तहत सभी स्कूल और कॉलेज 30 जून तक बंद थे। इस बीच लॉकडाउन अनलॉक 2.0 के तहत केंद्र सरकार ने फिलहाल सभी स्कूल व कॉलेजों को 31 जुलाई तक बंद रखने का निर्देश जारी किया है। राज्य सरकार की ओर से इस पर कोई दिशा निर्देश 30 जून की रात तक जारी नहीं किया गया।

लिहाजा, सभी कॉलेजों को खोलने पर असमंजस पैदा हो गया। डीएवी कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल डॉ. अजय सक्सेना ने बताया कि फिलहाल गृह मंत्रालय के अनलॉक 2.0 से जुड़े पत्र के आधार पर कॉलेज को 31 जुलाई तक के लिए बंद कर दिया गया है।

वहीं, डीबीएस पीजी कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल डॉ. वीसी पांडेय का कहना है कि गृह मंत्रालय के पत्र के आधार पर कॉलेज को 31 जुलाई तक के लिए बंद कर दिया गया है। हालांकि इस बीच अगर राज्य सरकार की ओर से कुछ निर्देश मिलते हैं तो उनका अनुपालन किया जाएगा। वहीं, एसजीआरआर पीजी कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल प्रो. वीए बौड़ाई का कहना है कि अभी राज्य के निर्देशों के इंतजार में गृह मंत्रालय के पत्र के आधार पर बुधवार को कॉलेज बंद रखा जाएगा।

देहरादून नगर निगम क्षेत्र, गढ़ी कैंट और क्लेमेंटटाउन छावनी परिषद के सभी धार्मिक स्थल, मॉल और रेस्टोरेंट 90 दिन बाद आज से सुबह सात से रात आठ बजे तक खुलेंगे। हालांकि मौजूदा स्थिति को देखते हुए प्रशासन ने अभी होटल नहीं खोलने का निर्णय लिया है। वहीं, बार की सुविधा वाले रेस्टोरेंट में बार बंद रहेंगे। इस दौरान दो गज की दूरी और मास्क अनिवार्य रहेगा। वहीं, कंटेनमेंट जोन में मौजूद धार्मिक स्थल, होटल और मॉल बंद रहेंगे। जिलाधिकारी ने मंगलवार को इसके आदेश जारी कर दिए। 

जिलाधिकारी डॉ. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि करीब एक महीने पहले नगर निगम देहरादून क्षेत्र व गढ़ी कैंट और क्लेमेंटटाउन छावनी परिषद में स्थित धार्मिक स्थलों, मॉल, रेस्टोरेंट और होटल को बंद रखने के आदेश जारी किए गए थे। इसी कड़ी में अब यहां धार्मिक स्थल, मॉल खुल सकेंगे। होटलों पर निर्णय बाद में लिया जाएगा, जबकि रेस्टोरेंट खोले जाएंगे।  बताया कि प्रमुख धार्मिक स्थलों पर सैनिटाइजर और साबुन से हाथ धोने की व्यवस्था की जाएगी। मंदिरों में घंटी बजाने पर प्रतिबंध रहेगा। धार्मिक स्थलों में प्रवेश से पहले हाथ-पैर साबुन से धोने होंगे। केवल उन्हीं लोगों को प्रवेश कराया जाएगा, जिनमें के लक्षण नहीं हैं। इसके अलावा मस्जिदों में भी शारीरिक दूरी का पालन करते हुए नमाज पढ़ी जाएगी।

रेस्टोरेंट, मॉल को सैनिटाइज करना होगा। शॉपिंग मॉल के गेट पर प्रबंधन को सैनिटाइजर, थर्मल स्क्रीनिंग की व्यवस्था करनी होगी। बगैर मास्क पहने किसी को प्रवेश नहीं दिया जाएगा। इतना ही नहीं ग्राहकों के बीच दो गज की दूरी जरूरी होगी। 

हाई रिस्क शहरों से आने वाले होंगे इंस्टीट्यूशनल क्वारंटीन 

डीएम ने बताया कि हाई रिस्क वाले शहरों से दून आने वाले लोगों को सात दिन इंस्टीट्यूशनल क्वारंटीन किया जाएगा। बगैर क्वारंटीन किए उन्हें आवास पर नहीं भेजा जाएगा। बताया कि केंद्र सरकार की ओर से बीते दिनों हाई रिस्क वाले 31 शहरों की सूची जारी की गई थी। 

इन बातों का रखना होगा ध्यान 

– मॉल प्रबंधक को सैनिटाइजर व थर्मल स्क्रीनिंग की व्यवस्था करनी होगी। – मास्क अनिवार्य, सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग के लिए गोले बनाने होंगे।  – होम डिलिवरी स्टाफ को हेल्थ चेकअप के बाद ही अनुमति।  – दरवाजे के हैंडल, बेंच को बार-बार सैनिटाइज करना होगा। 

प्रशासन ने आज से धार्मिक स्थल, मॉल और रेस्टोरेंट खोलने के आदेश जारी किए हैं। लोगों से अपील है कि दो गज की दूरी का पालन हरहाल में करें। मास्क लगाकर ही घर से निकलें। अगर कोई इन नियमों का पालन करता हुआ नहीं मिलता है तो उसके खिलाफ आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम के तहत कार्रवाई की जाएगी। – डॉ. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव, जिलाधिकार

What is So Special About the Chardham Yatra?

Popularly known as the "Devbhumi", Uttarakhand is called the land of Gods due to the presence of numerous pilgrimage sites. Among all religious tourism, Chardham pilgrimage is the most famous one. Char Dham, or the four holy abodes of God namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, are located in the West to East direction of the Garhwal region. These four holy abodes of God are popular for their own religious significance and opens on every Akshaya Tritiya and closes Diwali. Chardham Yatra takes place during the months of April to May and October to November from Haridwar. Though it can be reached from several other routes, Haridwar is easily accessible by train from many major cities. Haridwar, known as the " Entryway to God", offer scopes to explore the popular religious centres such as ashrams, dharamshalas and temples and take dips in the holy river Ganga, to the devotees.

 Spirituality in Chardham

 It is said that one must attempt a Chardham Yatra in his lifetime to attain moksha and salvation and discover the path of enlightenment. Moreover, the unadulterated atmosphere, captivating mountains and snow-capped peaks can calm your soul and distil your mind. The Garhwal Himalayas marks the occurrence of Panch Prayag, that is, the sacred confluence of five holy rivers (Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, Vishnuprayag), and Panch Kedar, the collection of five temples (Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar, Kalpeshwar) dedicated to Lord Shiva, which relates to the ancient mythological fact of the Pandavas in the Mahabharata. The location of the historical Nanda Devi mountains, Nar Narayan mountain, Trishul mountains in the region enhances the spiritual importance of Chardham.

 Poojas and Rituals in Chardham

 The Yamunotri Dham hosts Janmashtami Puja, Yam Dev Puja, Shani Dev Puja with great pomp. Several other poojas like Divya Shila Puja, Yamuna Puja, Yamuna Snan are conducted and the primary rituals include Mangala Aarti and Shayana Aarti. There is a special ritual of worshipping the 'Divyasheel', a stone placed in front of the temple, before entering.

 In the Gangotri Temple, Gangotri Mangal Aarti, Sandhya Aarti, and Ganga Devi Pooja are organised.

 Kedarnath puja rituals include the worship of the stone idol of Lord Shiva, Maha Abhishek, Rudra Abhishek Puja, Laghu Rudra Abhishek Puja, Sampurna Aarti and Sodosopa Char.

 The evening aarti of the Badrinath Temple is a lot hyped-about. It is performed along with the Geet Govind Aarti. Along with that, Maha Abhishek Puja, Abhishek Puja, Ved Path, Geeta Path and many more rituals are performed.

  Sightseeing in Chardham

 Chardham, besides paving a path of enlightenment for the tourists, also offer some eye-soothing scenic views which in one way or the other, relates to the ancient mythological, religious, and historical facts. Thus, the region is rich in sightseeing and gives enough scope of exploration to the tourists. The Surya Kund and Divya Shila of Yamunotri, Bhairon Ghati and Submerged Shivling of Gangotri, Gaurikund and Vasuki Tal of Kedarnath, and TaptKund and Neelkanth Peak of Badrinath are some sightseeing options you cannot afford to miss.

 Culture, Fairs and Festivals of Chardham

 Chardham Yatra is greatly influenced by the roots of the Garhwali culture of Uttarakhand. The people of Garhwal region are generally god-fearing and possess religious faiths and beliefs in ancient rituals and customs. However, the caste system is widely prevalent among them and inter-caste systems are not easily attempted. Their official language is  Garhwali which has been adhered from the later Aryans but in the present time, they use Hindi to communicate. They also have great interests in traditional folk music.

 Garhwali people celebrate a number of fairs and festivals with great fervour. The notable celebrations of Yamunotri are Basant Panchami, Olgia, Phool Dei, and of Gangotri are, Ganga Dussehra and Diwali. In Kedarnath, Samadhi Puja, Badri Kedar, and Vinayak Chaturthi are celebrated. Badrinath hosts Gauchar Mela, Mata Murti Festival, and Diwali with great pomp.

 Food in Chardham

 The food of Uttarakhand can cater to every food lover's taste and preferences. You will get authentic North Indian food in many food stalls and dhabas by the hills. However, restaurants are not hard to find with developing tourism these days. The main attraction here is the traditional Garhwali food, bursting with flavours. These foods are generally healthy and are prepared with various cereals, pulses, lentils and herbs. Some popular Garhwali cuisines are Chaunsu, Kaafuli, and Thenchwani. Kumaoni cuisine is famous too, in this region which includes Bhatt ki Churkani, Kumaoni Dal Vada, and Dubuk. You will find snacks and sweet items like Gulgula, Signori, Baadi, Arsa, and Kumaoni Raita.

 Accommodation in Chardham

 There are not many accommodation options in Yamunotri but you can find some in the Dehradun - Yamunotri route. While in Gangotri and Kedarnath, you will get ample stay options ranging from affordable to deluxe. You can also find tents and camps accommodation options in Gangotri, equipped with thermal water, good food and clean bathroom facilities.
