Blurb: High school senior Alexa Brooks had it all figured out: study hard, nail the extracurriculars, stay focused, and life would follow the carefully crafted plan. The problem is, this plan was designed for one thing: making her forget all about her once-best-friend/former-potential-boyfriend, Carson Knight. Four years ago, he was the boy who always made her laugh, the boy she loved, and the boy she mistakenly and very publicly betrayed...oh, and he was also the boy who grew up to become heartthrob A-list actor Cayden McKnight. An innocent-enough school assignment suddenly brings Cayden to the forefront of Alexa’s mind, and her celebrity-crazed best friend Lindsey discovers the old connection. Convinced that his Hollywood bad boy image is the direct result of their fallout, Lindsey convinces Alexa to find Carson and reconcile, but reaching an A-list movie star is not as easy as it used to be when he was the kid Alexa called every night before bed. Unable to apologise in person but determined to somehow right her wrongs, Alexa goes on a quest to remake Cayden’s image, doing good deeds in his name...but nothing is as it seems in Hollywood, and even when she’s able to finally face Cayden McKnight in person, Alexa can’t break through to the Carson she once knew. Is it really too late to make amends?

Gwaine is absolutely choosing Merlin over Arthur in any scenario, “treasonous” or not. Like, Gwaine wasn’t even choosing between the two of them in the Perilous Lands and he was still like “I just want you to know that I’m here for you, not him.” Gaius was literally accused of sorcery and high treason but Gwaine still showed for Merlin and trusted his every word despite the apparent evidence. This man is ride or die for Merlin and you have to respect it. You have to or I’m stealing all your Halloween candy.

Don’t post art later in the day they all said, but I didn’t listen bc Im not a fan of this piece anyway lol
Haven’t done any dramatic lighting in a long time due to art block and getting back into it is really hard.

Do you think the reason so many vessels were caught by the Nosk is because they were desperate to be with their own living kin, after being born among the corpses of their siblings and cast aside by the living?

Arms crossed over his chest, Kit’s eyes narrow at the knight. He’s had more than his fair share of being entangled in magic and curses, and he would rather not add more to that list.
The look that Lark is giving him isn’t helping at all.
Wary gaze looks back towards the glowing light. A glowing light, coming from deep in a cave. A pulsating, bright, glowing light, coming from deep in a dark cave. In an area they haven’t explored before. Off the beaten path.
“ I hope you know that it will be put on your head if I die in there, ” Kit grumbles, but does not wait before uncrossing his arms and heading towards the mouth of the cave. As much as he complains, as much as he knows it is a terrible idea … he is also curious. A catlike trait on a rabbit, but story details didn’t always make natural sense. Really, they scarcely did.
“ Come on, don’t make me go in there alone ! ” he calls back over his shoulder.
Really? Kit agreed! Lark’s expression brightens even more at the prospect of entering the cave, and seeing what secrets it may hold. It really could have valuable resources… but there’s only one way to find out.
“Alone? Of course not, my liege.” Does he sound mildly offended? Only for a moment, and it’s only halted by the idea that they could be joking. He follows along with a laugh. “Do you think I would have argued about going into a glowing cave if I didn’t want to go into a glowing cave?”
So Kit’s leaning towards the harrowing monster theory. “I would die fighting for your life before that could happen. Which it won’t.”
Kit can handle himself, can’t he? And Lark couldn’t bear to let anything happen on his watch.
The glow only appears more mystical up close, almost beckoning. He looks to his prince expectantly. “On your word, Your Majesty.”
