Speaking of cats of the cat kingdom! Do you think Yuki was welcomed as Lune's bride & the future Queen, maybe seeing her as a Cinderella story (do cats even know cinderella?XD)? Or because she wasn't royalty and remembered as a lowly servant was there some drama/unfavorable response?

generally my interpretation of the cat kingdom is that it's an indulgent reflection of a human kingdom thinking emoji the cats liked the idea of having their own civilization but both cherry-picked what they liked and threw the rest away and didn't altogether understand the significance of other human traditions and ideals laughs

bc of this, a lot of things one might expect of a feudal kingdom simply don't exist in the cat kingdom proper-- currency, for one

the royals are royal just bc they decided they wanted to be royal, and the other cats let them play house bc for the most part there's no real reason not to. there's no real separation between classes bc that just didn't seem important at the time lmao

also, haru wasn't a royal but the courtesan cats in the movie seemed to like her just fine thinking emoji they compliment her delicate paws and do what they can to welcome her and make her happy

that said, bc of that, i do like the idea of some of the cats viewing her as a sort of romantic cinderella story laughs like baron being an idealistic rumor about the castle, i could see some servants and courtesans finding her story very much like a charming and idyllic fairy tale

in some ways, i could see yuki worrying that she doesn't fit in, not being a native to the kingdom, and could see her doing all she could to learn about the cat kingdom in order to do so

Rare to see the Entertainer nervous about anything, but, when it comes to his Mask and being without it? Then comes the shakey nerves. Jester takes a fast glance back towards his mask. Claws tapping against the smooth surface as his tail twitches nervously behind him. Since his mask is right in front of him, held right in his hands, he could just place it back on. 

Except, the test to see if the Earrings work would be a waste. Their supposed to be a back up messaure in case something like this hapepned, where Jester is without his Mask or it ended up being broken.

The Jester pauses hearing this, eyes would of been blinking a couple of times if not for his mask. Ears twitch a little, tilting his head towards the side to look over back to Adelina. By the look on his mask it looks like he’s either processing what she just said or making sure that he heard right.

Considering said family is also filled with varying degrees of mischeif makers, may as well have an offical mischief maker that is Jester! Searching through pockets for a few moments before pulling out a card that looks like a child made it.

5 days. Non stop. The Beast was out of control, a war hero deranged. But please, she begged in her thoughts, Do not hunt him, I beg of you, there must be another way to stop him! Queen Naelle's devastated heart raced as heavy as her horse's galloping hooves beat against the ground. This is why she had been emergency summoned to the battlefield by King Migonnet himself. Because of her 'special connection' with the Beast. Faster, faster! She must intercept the Beast's hunters, find him, before it's too late, and-- "...Beast?"

Five days of bloodshed and five days of souls being taken. A war zone piled with bodies and torn pieces of such. There is nothing new with the earth being stained in red afterwards but the Beast would not stop. Despite the chilling colors of his eyes, they could only see red as any that approached the sinister silhouette is torn apart. 

The ‘ war hero ‘ title melting away to reveal the monster that the King used to control. The leash that had been tightly wrapped around his throat has been torn and the Beast is using every last bit of freedom to take as much as he could. Was it part of being finally away from that leash? The intoxicating red that covers his eyes making it impossible to leave? To drive further that the Beast should and will be feared? Or that everyone in those 5 days and nights have not stopped in attacking him?

The Beast is lost in the sea of blood and he’s only swimming further into it’s depths. 

The creatures head snaps up and to the side at hearing someone call for him. Cloak that seemingly made from furr bristles as blood drips from the silhouette. From claws and antlers, blood seemingly covers the Beast as a deep booming growl leaves him.

Oh, that lights an amused glimmer in Vanya’s expression; his head cants one way, then the other, blinking owlishly at this little cat which has suddenly become much more intriguing. White coat, blue eyes. She could be from the Cat Kingdom, but somehow he doesn’t think so.

“Pretty Vanya’s cat friend doesn’t have the look of one who has seen death more than once,” he starts pointedly, but his knowing, almost critical manner vanishes quickly enough.

“We are like almost peas in a pod, then, little cat..!” He chirps instead, flumping down beside her in an excitable haze, tail flicking, and continuing on, “The Vanya Creature doesn’t have the pleasure of remembering his first death, but he will gladly tell of the others!”

C R A S H ! Colliding through the colorful glass ceiling, appeared to be a flurry of white - a caterwauling flurry of white - that landed with a loud thud atop the middle of a grand banquet table. Elaborately prepared dishes of fish, mice, and lobster went flying, along with garnishes, containers of gravy, drinking goblets, and bowls of catnip jelly splashing everywhere. Fortunately for the banquet crasher being a cat, she had somehow managed to still land on her four paws. Screaming slowly quieted, and the feline cautiously opened one blue eye, and then the other, and slowly dumbfoundedly stared around... "I'm alive...? - gasp! - ... I'm alive!!"

The king stares, baffled, as well, not even noticing the guards and bodyguards alike which have leapt in front of him at the commotion. Beside him, for the most fleeting of moments, Natori finds himself wondering if the new queen has seen fit to cause an uproar, odd as it may seem for her quiet manner… at least before spying her still in her spot next to Lune looking just as shocked as the rest of them.

In fact, it is Lune who eventually shakes himself out of his skittish stupor to approach their... in charitable terms, unexpected guest, offering his paw to help her up.

“You’re alive,” he echoes brightly. “By some miracle! That was some fall, Miss. Are you alright?”
