She was ordered to stay out of the office until further notice- until her shot wound was fully healed. The order hurt her more than the gun shot, her life was in that office getting orders and helping people- now she was getting help and saving no one anytime soon. Aside from the order and wound causing her pain, the fact her girlfriend blamed herself didn’t help either. Nora’s head rolled to the side, tired eyes looking over Blake’s figure and returning the hand squeeze as best as she could.

“ Blake- “

The red head pulled one of the Faunus’ hands up to her lips, pressing a kiss to Blake’s knuckles before pressing them to her cheek. 

“ Stop blaming yourself. I didn’t think and went right after the suspects, it was my fault I didn’t wear my vest the other day. I should know better. “

She lowered and let go of the woman’s hand, shifting a bit to make a space in her bed. Though there was a pained whimper with the movement, Nora ignored it and patted the spot beside her in gesture for Blake to join her.

“ C’mon, it’s chilly and you make a better blanket than the actual thing. “

The girl smiled at her love, weakly chuckling as she reached for and tugged at Blake’s hand.

        it was never something kali hid, but sometimes it’s needed to be spoken. taking small steps towards her daughter, she placed a hand on her shoulder, softly smiling.

        “ you have grown into being such a good person, i can’t help but be proud. “

Yang practically giggled as she reach out to the poke the cat that was rubbing at her legs. Walking around Vale && finding stray cats was weird enough but for them to be affectionately rubbing at Yang like this? Maybe she just had that effect on felines. At the mere thought she grinned at her partner, pointing at the tabby near her legs.

She starts, eyes full of concern as Yang shifts from side to side. Arms cross over her chest as she lifts her chin to smile at her partner for the moment, one full of hope and not scorn. A hand reached out after a moment to rest on Blake’s shoulder, squeezing it lightly so as not to scare the faunus. She believed in Blake with every ounce of her being but if there was one thing she didn’t like, it was when the other decided to BAIL when the team decided to do things to together. 

         ❝I’m only disappointed when you don’t follow through.         Now c’mon! Ruby and Weiss are waiting for us! ❞

Wow that actually hit a wrong note with Yang. She gritted her teeth, fists balling at her sides. Weiss could really anger her at times and it was more than just frustrating. The blonde had to hold herself back, hold her tongue from replying in any way that was mean. She refused to stoop down to her level. 

         “ Maybe you should use some nicer words, Weiss.        If I heard you calling Ruby that? You wouldn’t hear the        end of it. So atleast try to be a little nicer. “
