Mack isn’t sure what he’s looking at.

Scratch that—he knows what he’s looking at. He’s just not sure how his brain is supposed to process it.

Will is crouched in the middle of the team lounge, one hand braced on his knee, the other holding a juice box for a toddler who couldn’t be more than three years old. The kid’s wearing an oversized Sharks jersey that nearly swallows him whole, and he’s staring up at Will like he’s some kind of superhero.

Which, fine. Mack gets it. Will does look kind of like a superhero sometimes. Blond hair all tousled and golden in the overhead lights, blue eyes that crinkle when he smiles, stupid perfect cheekbones. Even his laugh sounds like it was engineered in a lab to make people fall in love with him.

But still.

Watching him hold a juice box steady while making a lion sound to get a gummy smile from a kid who’s got applesauce on his chin?

Mack is toast.

"You okay over there?" Toff nudges him with an elbow, smirking.

"I—what?" Mack blinks, realizing he's been staring. Probably with his mouth open.

"You look like you're watching a nature documentary. Like Will's a rare bird."

Mack scowls and elbows him back, but his eyes flicker back to the scene in front of him involuntarily.

Will is now sitting cross-legged on the floor, letting the kid tug at the strings of his hoodie. He’s laughing, completely unbothered. The kid babbles something unintelligible, and Will nods like he totally gets it. "Yeah, that’s what I said too, buddy."

Mack’s heart actually hurts a little.

The kid’s dad—Wenny, who’s just back from injury and brought his son to practice—finally jogs over. "Sorry, sorry," he says, scooping the toddler up into his arms. "He likes you more than me now. I should be offended."

Will grins. "What can I say? I’m great with kids."

And that’s when it happens.

Mack has a vision so sudden and vivid it almost knocks him backward.

Will, barefoot in a sunlit kitchen, balancing a giggling toddler on his hip. The kid’s got wild curls, bright and unruly, but it’s the smile that hits Mack like a freight train. That wide, gummy, dimpled smile—his smile. But Will’s eyes. Their kid. Their kid.

Mack coughs, nearly chokes on air.

Will looks over, brows knitting. "You good, man?"

"Fine," Mack croaks, waving him off.

Will walks over, hands in his pockets, head tilted. "You sure? You look kind of flushed."

Mack shrugs, trying to play it cool. He’s not cool. He’s the opposite of cool. His entire internal operating system just rebooted.

"Didn’t know you were a baby whisperer," he says, aiming for casual.

Will shrugs, still smiling. "Guess I got the touch."

Mack makes a strangled sound in the back of his throat. Something like you really do but mercifully doesn’t say it out loud.

They start walking toward the locker room together. Mack keeps sneaking glances out of the corner of his eye. He can still see it—the domestic softness of it all. Will in sweatpants, toddler on his lap. Will reading bedtime stories. Will saying our kid.

He’s in hell.

"You ever want kids?" he blurts.

Will blinks. "Uh. Yeah. I think so. Someday. Not, like, now obviously."

Mack nods, a little too fast. "Cool. Coolcoolcool."

Will eyes him. "Why? You wanna co-parent or something?"

Mack nearly trips over his own feet.

Will cackles. "I’m kidding, dude. Relax."

But Mack is not relaxing.

Because co-parenting doesn’t sound like a joke. It sounds... kinda perfect.

Will opens the locker room door and holds it for him. "You coming or what?"

Mack exhales, dragging a hand down his face. He follows Will in.

Still thinking about chubby toddler fingers gripping Will’s hair and sleepy giggles and Will kissing their kid goodnight.

Yeah. He’s so screwed.

GTA RP - Where to Start? A Character/Streamer Rec List.

Because of the huge scope of GTA RP, it can be daunting to get into. So I thought I’d write up a rec list for few different characters that I personally enjoy watching - there are literally hundreds more out there, but (in no particular order) here are some of my favourite characters and streamers to watch - I’d recommend that, if you’re looking to get into GTA RP, you give them a shot. Captain Jeffrey Bundy - played by OccamsSabre Bundy is a Captain in the LSPD. He’s intelligent, capable, and is one of the wittiest people in Los Santos: his deadpan delivery is a delight. He specialises in investigative work (especially serial killers and stalkers) and also works in the police department’s canine unit. He has a dog called Ted. Yes, really.  Ash Ketchup - played by Ash Ash is a deceptively sweet ‘girl next door’ who owns one of the most popular cafes in Los Santos. Her long term boyfriend is Benji Ramos, an ex-south-side gangster; together the two of them are a formidable team and have recently put together their own crew, Seaside. Despite her innocent veneer Ash is full of mischief and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself or others.  TJ Walker - played by DocWizard For two years TJ was an officer in the LSPD - but at the end of January he became one of the only people in the history of Los Santos to quit the police force and become a criminal. This came about after a dramatic, month long arc that culminated in TJ shooting another officer as part of a blooding-in initiation to his adoptive father’s motor-club, the BBMC. TJ is tactical, dramatic, intelligent, and a bit goofy - he’s adjusting to his new life as a criminal and is trying his best to do his criminal family proud. His arc going from cop to criminal is one of the best I’ve seen.  Undersheriff Matt Rhodes & Ryan Parker - played by CurvyElephant Known as ‘petty and thorough’ by the criminals of Los Santos, Matt Rhodes is eminently capable at his job but is a bit less capable when it comes to dealing with his family life; whether it’s forgetting his anniversary with his husband Richard or being a bit emotionally stunted when dealing with their adopted sons Cody and Flop. CurvyElephant’s other main character is Ryan Parker - a car thief, mechanic, farmer, and pizzeria worker who is working a heap of jobs to pay off a small loan he took (of a million dollars) to buy his dream car. Recently divorced from his long-term husband Reed, a member of the Lost MC, Ryan still maintains close ties to the motorcycle gang. Corporal Tessa Lamb - played by Nakkida Tessa runs the driving school in the city of Los Santos. A Ranger, she is an animal lover and is very knowledgeable about the local wildlife found in San Andreas. Tessa is widely respected across the city as she always rises to the challenge in front of her. Though she is known for her gentle manner and skills in de-escalation, when faced with animal cruelty, people threatening her loved ones, or men asking her out on dates? She can be absolutely ruthless.  Barry Benson - played by BazzaGazza Barry is the Vice Prime Minister of the Bondi Boys & Babes Motorclub (or the BBMC). Alongside his husband, Irwin Dundee (played by Whippy), he leads the BBMC in their ongoing criminal antics. Barry is an adrenaline junkie, a loving father, an exasperated husband, and a proud leader. He’s also incredibly forgetful, a bit ridiculous, and a skilled driver and shooter. The Australian combines hilarious comedic timing with consequence driven roleplay.  Yuno Sykk - played by Sykkuno Sometimes known as ‘Cheatcode’ Yuno is one of the best hackers in the city. Kind hearted and soft spoken, Yuno has a penchant for causing a bit of chaos by stirring the pot. Yuno is a member of the Cleanbois - a criminal organisation known for wild bank heists and business enterprises. Yuno tries to be friends with absolutely everyone he meets, and it often gets him into trouble.

“Reigen… Arataka… was here.” Damn it, my vision’s going… as if Serizawa’s screwdriver would turn out handy after all, for something like this...

That Serizawa… where did he go? It’s been a week since he vanished.

“Trip Guidebook”, huh… when I was making this, I really didn’t think this kind of situation would happen, did I…

TN: Goodness this was hard to translate. It’s SO difficult to understand what he’s saying because his speech is very slurred from… y’know, dying. I’m a bit iffy on the “tsu-ku-ki-na” bit but the rest is fine, I BELIEVE, because I ended up spending hours on this one translation mxcvn.

Huaraz ist für die meisten Touris der Ausgangspunkt für die Wanderungen in der Cordillera Blanca, einem Hochgebirgszug der Anden in dem der Berg liegt, den Paramount in den Vorspann gebracht hat, außerdem der höchste Berg Perus sowie der Santa Cruz Pfad , der laut National Geographic zu den 10 besten Treks der Welt gehört😅

Besonders nachdem ich auch bei Peruanern zu Gast war, die mich nicht an einen Tisch mit anderen Peruaner sitzen lassen wollten, war das für mich überraschend super.

Was die Tour selbst angeht, kann ich gar nicht in Worte fassen wie schön die Gegend ist. Besonders hoch bewertet wurde der Pfad wohl unteranderem, weil man nie wirklich steil den Berg hoch muss und dennoch wahnsinnig schöne Ausblicke zu sehen bekommt (unter anderem den Paramount-mountain den ich aber ständig verwechselt hab) - ein Panorama Spaziergang.

Dank 2 Amigos aus Ecuador, deren Hobbies auch Eisbaden umfaffst, waren wir dann auch noch auf 4420 m bei 11 ° baden - kurzum also einfach unglaublich.

Ein Plan der nicht nur ökonomischer ist, sondern eigentlich 1 Monat im Paradies ohne Stress gleichkommt - so zumindest der Plan...

Als völlig verzweifelter CJ muss man dann alle umstehenden Kolumbianer in reudigem spanisch um Kohle anschnorren und zum Coffeeshop rennen, um sich mit dem Kartenlesegerät Geld aus der Kasse zu erbetteln.

Wie durch ein Wunder reicht die Zeit, der Abschluss des ersten Level wird mit Gangster-Mukke zelebriert und das Flugzeug macht sich auf nach San Andres.

Politisch gehört die Insel zu Kolumbien, das sich den umstrittenen Besitz mit mächtiger Militär und Polizeipräsenz sichert. Eigentlich liegt die Insel jedoch vor der Küste Nicaraguas, und die Einheimischen sind die afro-karibischen Nachfahren englischer Sklaven, die Creol-english sprechen. Kurzum - man landet in der Hood...

Ziel des Spiels ist es, sich durch die Sympathien & den Respekt der verschiedenen Gangs den größtmöglichen Einfluss auf der Insel zu sichern. Nicht selten enden Streitigkeiten in erbitterten Drachenkämpfen. Zum Glück haben mich bereits kurz nach meiner Ankunft die Brasilianos bei sich aufgenommen. Ihr Boss nennt sich der Professor und gibt vor auf einer geologischen Vorschungsreise mit seinen 3 Studenten zu stecken. Tatsächlich, wurden die 4 vorgeschickt um auszuchecken, ob sie das Barrio übernehmen können. Die Brasilianos reisen kurze Zeit später ab, doch CJ bleibt zurück - weiterhin das Ziel vor Augen sich mit den Gangs gut zu stellen um in der Hood weiterzukommen. Gar nicht so einfach wenn man nicht weiß ob man spanisch schwätzen soll oder nicht.

Den wie bereits erwähnt gehört San Andres zu Kolumbien und bergeweise Touristen belagern die Insel, sodass viel vom Business in spanisch abgewickelt wird. Doch die meisten Amigos von hier sind Schwarze, die ne verrückte Form Englisch sprechen. Der Ansatz je nach Hautfarbe die Sprache zuwechseln gibt vielleicht minus auf dem politischekorrektheit balken aber satt plus auf dem Grün, rot, gelben respect Balken.

Die Locals können einem auch den Weg zu den Unterwasserlevels erklären - in allen Videospielen verhasst bleiben sie auf GTA SAN Andres eins der Highlights! Tatsächlich war das schnorcheln auf der Westseite der Insel und am Schiffswrack von Rocky Cay, sogar so wahnsinnig beeindruckend wie es kein Videospiel simulieren könnte.

Dennoch hat mich auch abchillen im Hostel weit gebracht. Nach so viel hin und her in Peru, ists  perfekt mal 12 Tage einfach nur an einem Ort zu bleiben und mit der Küche und dem Cheatcode für unlimited Brotfrucht konnte ich mich als Koch in ner neuen Gang profilieren, die zwar nur aus Chicas extranjeras besteht, mit der Boxmeisterin von Spanien aber durchaus Schutz und taktische Vorteile im Barrio genießt.

Auch die Venezuelanische Haushälterin Rona, und die ständig kiffenden Besitzer David& Roldan, das brasilianische Mädel, Jaqueline dass die ganze nur portugiesisch spricht und Hippiegirl Alice wohnen mit uns im Block.

Genauso wie der freundliche verrückte Dealer von nebenan,  der sich mit afro und Ski Brille an die Chicas rantanzt sind sie alle nicht nur sehr unterhaltsam sondern - wie so ziemlich jeder Bewohner dieser wunderschönen Insel wahnsinnig lebensfroh.

Ich glaube wirklich, dass Sonne und Meer direkt die Lebensfreude steigern! Und allmählich versteh ich auch warum uns Venusha so begeistert von allem in Kolumbien erzählt hat. Die Leute tanzen, lachen, leben einfach intensiv!

Ich hoffe, auch diejenigen, die keine Videospielen zocken, konnten meinen Ausführungen folgen. Ich kann wirklich jedem nur empfehlen sowohl GTA San Andreas durchzuzocken, als auch die Karibik zu besuchen sowie sich den Cheat für Unlimited Brotfrucht zu sichern. Hässlicher Uhrzeithummer, Seespinne, Kugelfisch... Der Amigo wollte einfach alles mal streicheln, den Kugelfisch sogar bis er sich aufbläht😅

Auch sein Kollege Carlos, war super entspannt und freundlich - deshalb an der Stelle ein Shoutout für das Tauchcenter Sea Pride!

Und dann, als ich gerade angefangen habe Jaqueline (die Brasilianerin, die kein Englisch/spanisch spricht) zu verstehen und mir endlich meinen angesehenen Platz in der Hood verdient hab sind die 12 Tage im Paradies auch schon rum.

Eigentlich schade aber nachdem Cartagena und Curaçao noch auf dem Plan stehen reiht sich vielleicht auch nur ein Paradies ans Nächste.
