The question was a surprise to the behemoth but realistically it didn’t even take a second for him to know how he would answer. “No.”

Some might take that as a bad thing but the big man was thinking how to phrase this, with one finger up to make anyone who might jump to a conclusion pause. “Are flowers pretty? Is dry ice cold? Is Kakkarot fast? No, no, no. She is not pretty, she is the most beautiful creature alive, flowers aren’t simply pretty they’re divine, Dry Ice is painfully cold…..I know from experience, painful. And anyone who calls Kakkarot simply fast doesn’t know what fast is.”

You always panic in the simplest of things.” As an angel would be, she remained completely motionless and unenthusiastic about the entire ordeal despite her god of destruction companion being rather emotional. The angel trailed him with her eyes, walking back and forth. Quite frankly, she found something quite relaxing in this entire thing, so she did not mind. She often wondered how the other angels like their own gods of destruction, but she always stopped the thought before it even started. Champa was saying something, ah, she missed it. 

“Champa-sama. Breathe, goodness. Being nervous is rather bad for your health.” She is not helping at all. He is getting angrier now.

Black pupils grow large before shrinking to normal size, carrying on as he always did when in a passive frame of mind. A tangible curiosity did however linger in his thoughts long after his new-- friend? -- had started to say something and then stopped. In his--  limited-- experience, all voices deserved to be heard, and so, swallowing the lump of awkwardness he feels rising in his throat, he gestures with open palms turned towards her to proceed.

    The dragon grunted with a hiss as one eye softly opened with a blurry vision. She could feel the stinging in her legs as she became conscious in a soft bed. The whirring of gears and motors of her surroundings made her sharp ears flick in irritation.

    Oto lifted her palm to rub her eyelids, only to see her wrists bandaged along with her right ankle. The memories of her sustaining these injuries were foggy, most likely due to her head trauma. Her nails scratched through her long strands of hair as she tried to make out her location in the darkness, with only a single light coming from a crack in a doorway across from her bed.

    Her eyes narrowed at the light as she could hear a light tapping among the ringing in her eardrums. It sounded like someone was either knocking or walking up to her doorway. The maiden felt her body tense up as she kept her eyes locked.

When Goku said he was bringing over some new friends he made while hunting for Dragon Balls, she didn’t expect such strange company.

A lumbering giant of a Saiyan with the manners of a caveman who was out “playing” with her husband and these two aliens who were sort of like his posse. The one wearing the beanie was too busy hungrily digging into his beef bowl, but the green girl with cropped hair held out her bowl desperately for another round.

She scoop up from her pot and gentle poured the contents into her bowl. She was trying to be polite to these guests, but really Goku should’ve let her know before she’d bring over company like this!

Broly stood in the bedroom of the Capsule House for some moments, just-- staring at the bed lying in the corner. He’d never seen anything like this before... According to Lemo, it was something for resting. Apparently, there was even supposed to be such a thing in their quarters on Frieza’s ship during their brief stay, but Paragus had kept the room to himself.

How does this thing work? Does Broly just-- lay on it?

Slowly, he makes his way over to the mattress, clumsily swinging a leg over, stretching himself out and lowering himself down onto the bed.

“...”

“I don’t want to get up now.”

“Pain?” He hated to see Cheelai suffer, she was the first one to actually show she cared about him and not just want something from him, so he had to ask if she was hurting, why she chose to come outside when he went hunting was beyond him, but none of them wanted to risk running out of supplies before Kakkarot’s next visit, until they knew if that would be a regular thing or how long between they decided to interchange whether they ate the good food brought or have a meal from the giant insectoids he had survived on for the past fifty years.
