I know my art isn't very good because it only ever gets complimented by friends & family. I also know I shouldn't create stuff just to receive compliments or recognition, but you know, it wouldn't hurt to get them once in a while lol. The day one of my works is seen as good by someone who doesn't know me or have any reason to make me feel good about myself, maybe, that day I'll believe my stuff is good

took my boyfriend to a voltaire show and now he won’t stop buying black clothes and skull themed jewelry. i did it. i corrupted him

one time i got into a local anime con for free since they were only charging an entrance fee for people not in cosplay by just putting on one of my regular outfits w some extra accessories, throwing on a witch hat, googling a picture of some rando’s ponysona that vaguely resembled what i was wearing and walking up to the entrance confidently claiming that’s who i was cosplaying

i do enjoy light-heartedly making fun of the things i’m a fan of. but when others take part in it i can rarely tell whether they’re also coming from a place of equal endearment for the same things or if they’re just being intentionally mean and that just bums me out

ah. i thought we were all in the agreement of listening to music (or not!) for fun and enjoyment, and not because we have something to prove? guess i was wrong, silly me

i love how Noora Louhimo isn’t afraid to try looks which would be considered “unappealing” by some and i don’t mean her usual stage mohawk + fake drag makeup combo (which looks A+ imo) but i mean stuff like her creepy oompa loompa-esque judge in the King For A Day video, and i love how she’s naturally thicc and not afraid to show it like u can see it in Familiar Hell when she’s wearing the “schoolgirl” skirt + blouse
