cooking a lot of food 🥗🍱

It was afternoon, and Mindy and Raven had planned to prepare a tasty meal and eat it before their school bus arrived. 👩🏻‍🍳

They lack the knowledge of how much and how to cook. 🧍🏻‍♀️🤪The cooking was being handled by their parents. In reality, they had prepared lunch for that afternoon. These two girls prefer to prepare their own food. 🥘

They were quite enthusiastic in cooking that day and produced a lot of food. Mindy was assisting with the dishes. Raven appears to be an expert chef when cooking. 🧑🏻‍🍳

What a lucky day! The food turned out fantastic. All of the meal was placed on a large plate and tastefully garnished. 🤩

🚐Now! *pom* *pom* school van arrived 🚥

They are unsure on what to do. Because it was exam time, they didn't want to get caught because the school would notify the parents if they skipped class. 😤

😰They left the platter of food in its current state. They hurried to catch the school van after grabbing their backpacks. 🚍🚌🏫📒

The rest is obvious. The  moment they returned from school in the evening. 🫵🏻Parents were waiting to give them a severe scolding. 👿

Day 78/100 #the100dayproject I took a mini class on #childrensboardbooks because I’ve had this idea for a story that I think would be best as a board book. Then I started playing with #characterdesign. I’m not used to #drawing baby/toddlers. I had to keep reminding myself not to make the arms and legs to long, too much hair, fingers and feet too big, etc. This is just my first thoughts on my main character. Gonna keep working on refining her today and blocking out my story. I have my critique group this week and want to share my idea with them to see what they think. I also need to give her a name.
