201X is the year the first human fell into the underground, and shortly after, the royal family has moved to New Home. This means some decent exploration of the cavern has already been made. Scientists could very well already have been working on optimizing life underground, with special attention to the large and ever growing new capital.

My idea? As this idiot has been aiding exploration with his antics, Gerson was the one to appoint him to Asgore. Something about his talent with turning garbage into non-garbage. With a little patience and getting familiar with his odd manerisms, it was not too long until he got to be the prince's weird godfather.

And everyone was devastated, mainly the close family. Not only that, but amidst your mourning, the one couple responsible for your unrealistically high standards for romance just divorced. Is love even real anymore. You eat ants with your cereal and your work consists mainly of convenience improvements and absolutely nothing groundbreaking. Listen. He's old. You got your wrinkles, he's got his cracking. What? You meant to point out some major event of injury must have been responsible for his current state of deformity? Well, he's old AND heartbroken. That's a direct blow to the SOUL, okay.

Jokes aside (kind of), doing any lasting damage to a monster is quite difficult given their magic forms can easily be healed through, well, magic. They can, however, eventually "fall" (wink wink) and dust away with age - which cannot, however, be fixed with magic.

With a little determination however ...

Something about the anomaly.

He found it, the other way. It was the bones all along, the so needed sustainance for channelling such a high concentration of that power. Well, not necessarily, but a boney structure will endure much more and last much longer than a meaty one. Also, it looks so cool.

You know this guy, he gets first dibs on any and all dubious substances that might or might not deal the last hit to the nail on his coffin dust urn(?). And when it all works out (dubious), he might as well play a little. What kind of things can he make? With the material properties of these calcified remains infused with his own magic, animated with determination.

Some new, powerful magic tricks?

A new kind of monster, maybe?

DARK, DARKER, YET DARKER.

There is a lot of interesting things one can do with isolated DT, aside from making bones rattle with life - for example, peeking onto the complex layers and ramifications of what composes reality. This is when the already kooky scientist grows a little mad; manic, if you will. This is the Wingdings sans was familiar with.

Time travel this, resets that, blah blah blah alpha timeline, the anomaly, the angel, the anomaly again, all things that only make sense to him and his illegible mess on the black board. The lack of detail is killing him, he needs to know what it is - what it does, why it does, how it does. Not to stop it, no, there is no stopping it.

Rather, an overwhelming need to understand it.

He falls somewhere in recent history, details of it left ambiguous. The shattering, combined with the amount of DT running in his magical... mathematical physiology, rendered all of his self but an espectator of his reality; confined to the code and unable to do anything but watch, powerless before the nature of his very being, like a corrupted program.

It is all rather frustrating, besides the burden that is coming to terms with simply not existing anymore, watching was pretty much all this research was and now ever will be. That is, until something interacts with him. It is different from the tragic prince, whom no matter how much DT he's accumulated, he is just as confined to this world's rules as other elements. Not this one, not the force from beyond. Not "YOU".

He makes it a mission to reach out, despite the limits of the code, to give away bits and pieces of him and see if you bite. But not too much, he's seen how you tend to exhaust a world for knowledge, something he can oddly sympathize with. I mean, what will you do once you find everything? One cannot fully know a person.

Maybe in another world, prophetized by a cute, little white dog. A much better world for everyone, without so much as war or disease, his greatest creation yet. And he could invite you to it, to experience bewilderment, to be reminded of wonder. If it could even help you, wherever you are, to deem your own world worth of partaking ... then the experiment was a success.

I'd like to say the whole "stop projecting" thing GT's fans are saying makes no sense to me. recognizing signs of a relationship being toxic because you've been in the same situation isn't necessarily projection - it can be sometimes if it's about a random thing that happened once, but not when a bunch of people agree on it and it's happening repeatedly.

the whole "humble him publicly" thing happening repeatedly is genuinely very awful, especially when the other person does not use social media. and knowing david is suffering from imposter syndrome, I really can't see how someone can see that and insist that it's a harmless joke. one time, sure, it could be passed as a harmless joke, but it stops being harmless after a while.

anyway sorry for the rant and sorry if it has been said before I'm just really annoyed seeing people purposefully turn a blind eye. I get it if it's because they don't want to assume anything because they don't feel like it's their place, but actively denying it to say that this is a loving relationship... why

Yep. I was reading a conversation between people saying that this kind of “jokes” were made at them by their abusive partners, I don’t think they were even shippers, just noticing that GT’s “jokes” stopped being funny a long time ago especially with how bad her timing is nowadays and the intensity of them - and it pained me to see them being told to not project. Just laugh it off because otherwise the conversation gets uncomfortable and we don’t like that…

There is a huge difference between projecting and noticing signs. I also think that people hear the word abuse and automatically think of a monster who’d do such horrible things to their partner that they’d be obvious and visible to the eye. Emotional abuse is often invisible but a thing too. Sometimes a very subtle one yet it hits harder than people think. Sometimes it’s just those little jokes to keep you humble so you’re never confident enough to leave - sadly classic abuse. Sometimes it’s those little jokes to make that person doubt themselves enough to stay low because the abuser is jealous. It’s such a subtle way to chip away someone’s confidence to make them easier to manipulate. Sometimes the abuser is just a bit of a twat who doesn’t realise what they’re doing is harmful - but when someone tells them to stop - it is important what their response is - and what does it mean when they carry on anyway?

It is worrying to me that people in this fandom are so easy to diss and harass people who simply say “this is not ok”. The moment you say something wasn’t right, fans will jump to your throat that this is the best relationship ever and it’s pure love and they’re like this and so it’s fine. They’re still married and have kids so see it is love - well fuck me divorce lawyers are scratching their heads. Funny thing is, DT doesn’t play along, spoke up frustrated before, spoke about how she speaks to him, their child called her a creep… so why the assumption that he’s so absolutely cool with it? When he’s not even on socials to bite back so all she does is patronise him to the public? Instead he’s always an utmost gentleman?

My general advice is this - when someone, in real life, hints to you that something is wrong or your gut feeling tells you that something is wrong, especially if you had awful experience yourself… listen to it. A lot of horrible things happened when people turned a blind eye.

Edit: They have no problem assuming the best about these relationships, you’re just not allowed to assume anything that’s not the perfect image.

Cale is not generally speaking an overly comforting person, but having said this- if he can tell it's serious and not just a Minor Issue of The Day(tm) he will put the effort in.

First thing he'd do, is work out what the issue is. Why you're upset and why it was caused.

Second thing would be that he would call in sick for you for work and tell you you're staying home with him. He wouldn't really give you a choice in it to be honest, he'd just come in while you're doing your own thing and let you know you're not going to work.

Then he'd order a big bouquet of flowers to be delivered to the house. I'm talking, like, $300 flowers with the teddy and the chocolates and everything.

He'd cook you a big fancy lunch. Maybe some kind of fancy pasta or steak with homemade chips(/fries) for you as well.

He'd also get you to come and lay on him on the couch. He's not usually overly physically affectionate, but he will encourage you to put your head on his lap and he will softly play with your hair.

He's not great at talking through emotions, but he will listen quietly to your woes and offer comfort and comment where he can.

If your issue was caused by a person not directly related to you, do not be surprised if they disappear and never return to work.

It all started when you first saw that side of him while he was fighting devils with his brother. You couldn’t help but be even more intrigued by Vergil than previously. The man was already such an enigma to you, but it never stopped you from wanting to learn more about him and to love him even more. But to see him like this, it was an entirely different experience. You found yourself admiring him a little longer, and you tried to get a good idea of what this new form meant. You were sure he’s had this form for a while, but this was something so new for you.

And when you mentioned it, Vergil put an end to your fantasies. He wouldn’t show you that form. He would only use it to protect you and that would be the only time you saw him in that way. It’s not that he is ashamed, he just doesn’t know if he could handle triggering in front of you and trying his best not to breed you. The thought of having a lover while he is in that form, it drives him so insane.

It wasn’t long when you finally chipped away at him. Eventually, Vergil agreed to give you a closer look. You were to sit on the bed and he would devil trigger in front of you. You could look, but you were strictly not allowed to touch at all. You struggled with keeping your hands to yourself, but you couldn’t deny the arousal you felt as you watched him turn into this monster. 

“You’re beautiful,”

Vergil steps back, “That’s irrelevant. Are you pleased with your research now?” He was clearly annoyed with what was going on. He didn’t want you to get too comfortable with this side of him. It was a side meant to protect you, after all.

You couldn’t believe the sound of his voice. It caused you to shudder, and you knew you had to have him in an intimate way. You crawl over to him on the bed, and he backs up once more. He doesn’t want you to get too close. He’s seconds away from losing his composure and pressing you onto that mattress to breed you. In this form, you smell even more divine. He can hear your heart pounding in your little chest.

“That’s enough,”

In a flash of energy, he reverts to his human form once more. You are a little disappointed, but you know you’ll have to be patient with him. Clearly there is something going on here that he isn’t explaining to you, and you were determined to find out. So you set out to test his patience with you every time he triggered in front of you.

In the long run, you were very successful with your attempts. Vergil became accustomed to letting you touch him while he was in that form. It didn’t help his building need to breed you, but he soon figured out he liked it when your little hands caressed his scaly skin. His tail often carefully wrapped around you and pulled you closer. It felt like he could really protect you, though he was starting to get a little too close to losing his resolve.

And one night, he snaps. You just smell so good, and Vergil knows you are ovulating. He figures this would be the perfect time to breed you. Though the thought of having another child frightens him, his want to breed was ever consuming. It started as this little ball inside of him, but now it took over every part of his body and his mind. He wanted–no he needed you. It would consume him even more if he didn’t have his fill of your sweet little human body.

“Get on the bed,” he commands. You climb onto the bed and soon, you’re being shoved onto your hands and knees.

Vergil takes no time to trigger in front of you. You swallow hard at the creature in front of you. It was the love of your life, but he was so different like this. Vergil is quick to get onto the bed with you, the whole frame cracking beneath you. You squeal as the bed shifts more, and then the whole thing just collapses. Vergil scoffs at this, but it is soon forgotten. The smell of your arousal fills the air.

And it is just invading all his senses. As much as he knows he needs to ease you into this, he won’t have much logic left. It’ll all be replaced by lust, and he will be pounding you into this mattress. Oh, the thought of it alone is just too much for him to handle.

You shudder as you feel his claws scraping against your skin. The danger of it all is really what has you thrilled, though the size of his girth was something else. It left you both wanting but also terrified of how it would even manage to fit. Vergil softly moans something under his breath, and you feel him parting your ass cheeks.

Me and my colleagues had a theory recently that the British industry likes to categorize actors a bit too tightly, and the theatre lot are seen as quite serious and stuffy. It's a chip on their shoulder that they think Olivier winners think they are better than Bafta winners for no reason other than how the UK class system works.

I have literally heard people declare AS, MS, and DT will never be seen as movie stars because they are Shakespeare-types. That is why AS wasn't Bafta nominated this year, and they were so shocked he should be funny in Fleabag. This is why their minds were blown by Fiennes being funny in Hail Cesar and TGBH.

This probably doesn't make sense, but I am sure I will be heavily insulted for it, either way.

I simply said that’s an interesting insight into how the British industry thinks about actors but it does not quite strictly play out in the way I have seen actors awarded by the major British awards. hello there dog!!! firstly, i just want too say im incredibly proud too see how far you have come, dialtown is so special too me, and for not only that game to be so loved, but also for you too be so involved in the community, is amazing keep up the great work! i do have a question, i am working on a theory pertaining to my favorite characters gingi/milton, and if i may, i have a couple questions about him specifically, if you don't mind of course :) 1. what made you come up with the design/personality of gingi?

2. what are your personal feelings/thoughts on gingi? are you satisficed with them as a character? or are there anything you wish you could change now? 3. this is a wierd one but, gingi generally does not really care what he looks like/what others think, so im really curious why hes so meticulous with making his phone/type head, and if he is so bent up about it, why not try to get someone like Oliver to make him a more proper one? instead of replacing the rotten flesh over and over

4. idk if you can answer this one, but i dont think it can hurt to try...was gingi around, before callum lost his mind?

1)Design for Gingi was primarily based on Frankenstein's aesthetic applied to a the chupacabra. Personality was largely ripped from quite a few unpublished stories/ideas I had before making DT. There's a few protagonists in other things I'd written as potential new game/story ideas that are eerily like Gingi.

2)I'm really really happy with Gingi as a character and I wouldn't change anything that I've established. I like how Gingi starts the game and changes by the end because it's pretty vast, but also not a complete change (and it happens very very gradually.)

TBH, outside of Gingi's interactions in DT, the fandom doesn't really know anything concrete about Gingi due to Gingi's poor memory. Until Gingi formed real human relationships, there was nothing to anchor to, just fragmented and barely remembered individual interactions. Honestly, the bigger picture is really interesting and I'm very happy with Gingi as a protagonist and I'd love to make sequels to DT as I've had concrete ideas for where the character would get up to in potential sequels for years now!

3)Gingi's flesh-head is a bit of a mystery. Gingi doesn't have the same adverse reaction to rotting things that most people do, but does have a general chip in its shoulder about being judged as lesser by others. Gingi (generally) does not make efforts to change its appearance to be seen as less repulsive by others, as we can plainly see from the fact Gingi often forgets (or refuses) to wear clothes.

4)I have all the main character date of births written down, so I could tell you Gingi's exact age... but it's more fun if I don't.

FOR MILT:

1)I'm not really sure why the wiki says that. There's no canon materials that state that Crown + Milt had an affair together. I think someone just read between the lines and stated their hunch as a fact.

2)Norm and Milt met but didn't know each other well. There was a cut mention of Milt in Norm's dialogue, but after a lot of head-scratching, felt the topic was too forced. Norm wouldn't have volunteered the information unless it was relevant to the scene and Gingi would not have asked.

3)Mingus knows about Milt, though not intimately. The only person alive during Mingus' lifetime who could've talked about Milt to her was her grandmother Marla, who was a husk of a person for Mingus' whole life (and in particular, talking about Milt would've hurt too much for her given their closeness.) Mingus knows about Milt from her obsessive study of her paw paw's presidency, but not much more than any historian/social studies teacher would. A lot of information I'd consider very important about Milt was never put to paper.

4)I'm not 100% sure why the fandom likes him as much as they do, given how little of him the fandom has seen (and how little information there is about him out there so far.) I just wanted a few references to him included in canon so I could potentially reveal more about him one day without fans wondering how this SUPER important character had never been mentioned. It's incredibly likely that I'll show more of Milt in future DT stuff due to how instrumental he was in Crown's decision-making + rise to power. There would be no practical way to expand on Crown without discussing Milt more.

There's a much bigger picture that the fandom hasn't seen much of that Milt is very important to, though it isn't often relevant to the modern day events of DT. Understanding Milt isn't important to understand DT itself, but is to understand both Crown and exactly how the world (and by extension, Dialtown itself) ended up exactly the way it did. And with time, I will discuss that some more.

as mentioned in last weeks WIP wednesday post- me and Tate have been world building and makin fun AU's with our babes (Viridian and Victoria) - we've been putting the blorbos into a blender and putting that belnder on full speed

for the first time in years - the red rabbit stood equal to the viper. - og post here

snippit from a drabble including our girlies - the fic concept revolving around Viridian and Rouge sneaking around Adam Smasher's hideout - Victoria is there, at the hideout- but she is well out of sight- looking through cams at her old 'saka colleuge- she notices how Viridian is without Jackie at this time- Victoria knows Viridian is strong on her own- but Jackie compliments her - they work as a unit.... So, Victoria leaves Viridian a lovely email just to toy with her <3 (spoiler- it's not a lovely email-it's actually rather jaring because Viridian has so many bad memories of Victoria - Victoria is a villian in Viridian's narrative and we are living for it >:3 ) The drabble will eventually refrence the mini-fic Tate wrote for me (run rabbit run)- Poking at ideas of in the past- Viridian not getting out of an ice break in time - Victoria realising that the red rabit is back in the game after years of being off of arasaka's grid and network.

LONG NIGHTS AND TOUGH CHOICES - OG POST HERE

SOOOOOO i finally sunk my teeth into the phantom libery DLC (i'm having so much fun-!! even if my baby pc is struggling with areas) - Having the DLC also means.. I can play around with model swaps and other things in AMM !! These gifs were taken from swapping out Reed for Jackie and Viridian for Myers!!!... The gifs will serve as inspo for a fic (that I will probz never get round to writing-) but the premese is Jackie and Viridian are the two are stranded in dog town (in my canon Jackie lives and goes to DT with his girl during the events of PL)... The two are met with very tough choices - and they argue - and in the moment viridian says she wishes she and Jackie never everr took the Kompeki heist all that time ago- if she and Jackie had never took it- there'd be no Johnny- no bio chip- no time bomb in the ex corpos head. No agreement with songbird- no rescuing the presedent- She'd have a chance to live with Jackie instead of knowing she's going to die - she says in the moment of arguing that jackie should just go- leave her- as the biochip is eating at her psyche. at the emotional height of the argument- Jackie blows a fuse and walks out on viridian. The two rarely argue so when they do it's all the more intense - He stays away for a few hours- trying to process everything viridian said to him. But then after the hours pass- he returns to the building he and her were hiding in- Viridian just about asleep on an old mattress- she looks like she's been crying- she looks so vulnerable and - emotionally wrecked- jackie comes and sits by her- trying his best not to wake her- he slips off his valentinos bomber and drapes it over her and presses a kiss to her forehead. He tells her as she sleeps that They'll endure - they'll survive. They'll get through this hell. Jackie will be with his girl until the inevitable end of all things... (i'VE HAD A LOT OF FEELS ABT THESE TWO)

Weekly achievement check! I went from 21,020 in-game points and 19,855 Lalachievement points up to 21,195 in-game and 20,030 on Lalachievement. I was rank 29 last week and I rose to 27 this week with only 10 points separating me from the next rank.

Finally week bazillion after Margrat's release so I've finished up the last Custom Delivery achievement until Dawntrail.

Been slowly chipping away at other long-term achievements, so not much has been going on tbh. I finished up on the BLM Anima weapon and started in on SCH.

Since DT is only about 14 weeks away, I'm going to be really concentrating on getting my Diadem stuff out of the way, so achievement progress might be slower. I'm almost done with BTN, though, which is the big hold up. FSH will be easy and then whatever mats I need, I will just purchase on the MB.

I am very sorry but this was in the back of my mind and i just have to say it. It'll never be not funny to me how he talked about egg and chips with more passion than the mother of his children💀 (let alone David who clearly has his own place, the difference is so sky high it's unfair to compare.)

It's really disappointing how some decide to neglect and deny themselves the joy, from one of the most loving relationships out there just for the reason that it doesn't fit into society's norm boxes. Instead they drag the standards embarrassingly low, because they refuse to let go of the perfect image they crafted out of thin air or any modicum of truth.

Sometimes it makes me scarred to live in a society where "goals" for a healthy, happy relationship is reduced to diplomatic answers, we didn't want this but you meet who you meet ( uncanny resemblance to another couple iirc), unhappy content due to cameras being pushed into your face or tasteless insults in a medium you know they can't (or won't,due to dignity) get back at you. How can you say "love" when the man went out of his way to say "because of how we felt about each other" instead of simply saying now we love each other.

I think when he talked about that arrangement it was the only time there was no light in his eyes… With David he was shining, other questions you could see he was having fun too.

We know this fandom was in much denial for a while, but we have reached the point where they even pretend things aren’t there (Neil saying David and Michael are in love) yet saying they can see Michael and Anna are in love (a word Michael refuses to use for her yet easily gives to David, multiple times). They have created their own fantasy. And it’s extra funny because “shippers” are the bad guys basing their views on actual things that are said and the body language etc, whereas “real fans” now actually need to ignore things and put words in Michael’s mouth to keep their fantasy going. They don’t see how weird it is that AL is spending her day on social media looking for validation from strangers either. They don’t see how depressed David is looking and how GT is giving them break up songs. They don’t see DT growing more and more annoyed with GT acting more and more like a paparazzi. They don’t see GT blatantly undermining David’s accomplishments, or insulting him. They don’t see Michael looking sad in the selfies with just AL. They don’t see that it’s a different world if you switch to MS/DT instead. They ignore that it was said that the men are boyfriends. They ignore that Neil told them the men are still in love. They have an excuse for everything. Yet we are the ones making stuff up?

I do think there is some sort of irony in Michael and David starting their relationships with women in a very similar way. And I wonder if this is why David dislikes Anna so much, because seeing this shit playing out in front of him, with someone he deeply cares about, must sting.

Sometimes when I watch this fandom and their choice to use denial so bluntly… it kind of puts in perspective why so many people are in unhappy relationships and why so many people have relationships/marriages falling apart… A lot of people struggle with seeing what’s right in front of them. A bit extra, but you know how politicians can get people to believe lies so easily? Because they know people are gullible. A lot of people struggle to think for themselves and will join collective, sheep thinking to be part of the group. A lot of people are scared to say “actually…”. It’s easier to be part of a group. And some people simply are not capable of analysis. Especially when you give them what they want to see - Brexit is such a fantastic evidence on how you fool half of the country because majority of people do not think for themselves or check evidence. And if you give them what they want to hear? You’re in.

Meet the general of 347th... Mercy’s second master - Ro - a Jedi, who is a decent healer but he excel at being a... coroner.

Due to Jedi Order being short-staffed with knights/masters, Ro was made a GAR general despite his crippling chronic illness. Not only due to his condition but also him being a healer and strongly opposing the Jedi Order’s involvement in the war, he managed to negotiate getting a command over a war-relief unit instead of overall military one. Since master Ro couldn’t participate in the efforts himself, he “officially” commands his regiment remotely via his apprentice - Mercy.

Once on Kamino, Shaak Ti asked Ro to stay at Tipoca city, claiming that two heads are better than one. However Ro mostly spend his days tucked away at the cloning facility’s morgue and doesn’t participate in solving clones’ affairs like Shaak does... Except being in a board that evaluates defective clones for combat.

Kaminoans are utterly annoyed by Ro’s presence as his meticulous examinations of clone cadavers unearth variety of issues that the “long necks” don’t want the Republic to know (and... no - he didn’t uncovered the chips as I don’t want to cheapen Fives’ and Kix’s arcs... and I have a WIP plot as for why).

The DT-[number sequence] is something @kalm5 and I came up with. We were wondering if the GAR had an equivalent of John Doe status for clones...

Because let’s face it - if a Shiny looses an arm where his ID chip is located during battle, before he even manage to get a tattoo/paint job, he looks exactly as any other Shiny. Not to mention, not all troopers feel a need to thoroughly accessorize themselves - Rex’s only trait, as far as we know, is his blond buzz cut (and it’s not even a given as it is mentioned in books he follows the hypes and e.g. dyed his hair blue at some point), the same is with Five’s minuscule tattoo while pre-Skako Minor Echo was recognized JUST by his armor... you get what I mean?

Since @/kalm5 and I are not the lore experts, so we don’t know whenever the issue was ever touched upon anywhere in canon/legends, we came with the DT- prefix (DT = dead trooper). Clone being categorized as DT- is the equivalent to naming him “John Doe”, next are strings of numbers that represents order of being placed in the GAR system as KIA and where and when the body was found.

Most DT-s were never identified...
