King Missile "Martin Scorsese" 7". King Missile is one of the defining bands of my youth. Especially KM MKII. That version of the band was really something I was looking for both musically and lyrically. About 10 years ago I ran across one of the two fabulous b sides on this 7" on YouTube. The b side I ran across was "Nietzsche Sneezes" and it instantly became a favorite. A little while ago, in the middle of the night the song popped into my head and I decided I should physically own the song. I knew it was on a promo CD for "Happy Hour" but Discogs also let me know it was on a slab of wax, so I opted for that. Turns out I bought an excess copy from Chris Xefos, multi-instrumentalist who was the bassist and keyboardist of that fine era of the band. This stoked me as that dude had a big part in writing really important music to me. Hell, I had promo photos of the band on my bedroom wall well into my late teens. Anyway, I bought this and wrote a note. Yesterday I got a sweet package full of records and a shirt.
