St Augustine Church complex old Goa - remains of Queen Ketevan of Georgia have been found here by ASI during excavation. Queen Ketevan had been captured by Shah Abbas 1 and after suffering in captivity for almost a decade in Iran the Shah gave her an ultimate embrace Islam & enter in his harem or die. The queen chose the other, was tortured to death.
