・Shay → Cooking duty for breakfast, makes everybody waffles ・Monro → Will be reading the paper, maybe also do some crosswords ・Gist → Off grocery shopping, pondering the day’s lunch ・Pitcairn → Watering the plants and feeding the fishes  ・Haytham → Checking work updates, and then catch up on some reading ・Lee → There are doggos that need walkin’ ・Johnson → Reading up for his next research paper ・Hickey → Nothing such as too early or too late for pizza and beer

Here’s an expansion of that musical HCs post from a while ago, now with a literal Templar boyband! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ✠♪

A rundown of the whole group below:

Monro ・has the voice of an angel #blatant_bias  ・can lull you to sleep or get your feet a-tappin’ with equal efficacy ・does a bit of piano too, though he worries his skills are getting rusty lately

Shay ・very playful with the way he fiddles ・stirs people off their seats and up into a dance every time ・will start a shanty if there are enough Morrigan crew members in the tavern

Gist ・life of the party—likes to banter with the audience ・most likely to start a commentary (of varying relevance) in between songs  ・can sing seriously, but if you let him do it off-stage you might end up with this

Haytham ・more concert hall material than street pub player, but can do either if you ask ・usually plays with Lee (though he seems to tag with Shay a lot recently) ・claims he doesn’t sing, but you can try get Lee to spill the real beans on that

Lee ・Haytham’s assistant, follows him everywhere carrying anything he needs ・isn’t happy about Shay hogging Haytham’s time because how dare he >:v ・plays to his dogs a lot, and seems to really enjoy it (maybe a bit too much)

Johnson ・usually just in the tavern to watch, but doesn’t mind joining in if called for ・and he gets called a lot, because flutes are never not welcome ・is studying Native American flutes, but doesn’t want anyone to hear him yet

Hickey ・actually a skilled accordionist, even when drunk (which is most of the time) ・capable of singing, except the words are almost always raunchy and filthy ・will start playing the most jangled shit you’ve ever heard if you annoy him

Pitcairn ・usually spotted piping away on a hill outside town ・really protective about his pipes, gets skittish if someone tries to touch them ・will absolutely refuse to sing probably sounds really cute tho

Hints for the upcoming Halloween AU! Can you guess what everyone will show up as? 🎃

🎃 Jack-o’-Lantern 🎃 

Once a man like any other, many stories are told about how exactly this wandering soul, who is neither dead nor alive, came to be the way he is. Often the stories involve the man encountering a devil, whom he then outwitted. Angered by the trickery, the devil proceeded to bar his offender from finding peace in the afterlife upon his death, thus dooming the crafty fellow into an unnatural existence, forever meandering in the mortal plane until the end of time. During a particularly dark night, you might just see the lonely pinprick of light from his lantern, carved out from a pumpkin, swaying beyond the mist in the distance as he adds another day to his aimless journey. 

🎃 Jack-o’-Lantern!Gist ・Being a traveler with the penchant of running into all kinds of otherworldly creatures, he quickly developed his own ways to get out of such encounters in one piece. Once, he managed to maybe take it a little too far with a particular bigshot demon, who proceeded to get its revenge by bouncing him off from the gates of the netherworld after he died. ・Not exactly able to return to his old life since all his acquaintances thinks he’s dead, for a start, he took to the road, wandering from place to place. All the traveling eventually netted him more friends of a more uncommon variety…like war ghosts and the local grim reapers. ・Having gone all over the place, he’s very well versed with maps—feel free to ask him for accurate, excruciatingly detailed directions of how to get around, where the best pubs are at, etc. ・Occasionally changes the look of his lantern, and is very good at carving up gourds at this point. Carves pumpkins for anybody who wants one when he happens to be in town for Halloween. ・Still goes back to check on his family back at home once in a while. Not that he gets to talk with any of them, but he does what he can to help.

Footnotes: ・Being a corporeal entity, his abilities are more or less confined to what a regular human can do (no teleporting, no going through walls, still gets hungry, etc.). That said, he’s also already dead, so you can’t kill him again. More or less functions like a zombie that doesn’t rot. ・He doesn’t age anymore, so he avoids staying in one place for an extended period of time, just in case anyone might notice. 

Aaand that’s the last intro sheet for this round. Boy, Gist’s story is the hardest to keep wholesome because it’s just. So. Full of existential crisis potholes. (:3_ )_ That would be wonderful for a grittier story, but I’m trying to keep things family-friendly around here, so yeah. -w-

Hopefully you’ve enjoyed all these so far! There’s still a bit more time until the 31st though, so I’ll be fooling around with this AU for a while. 🎃
